Abstract
Description
(2)内輪トラック長さ(内側継手部材のトラック溝の軸方向長さ)WI・TRUCK:厳密には、内側継手部材32のトラック溝32eとボール33との接点軌跡の軸方向長さであるが、本明細書では、内側継手部材32の球面状の外周面32dの軸方向長さ、すなわち、外周面32dの軸方向両端から内径側に延びる端面間の軸方向距離のことを言う。
(3)内輪幅(内側継手部材の軸方向幅)WI:内側継手部材32の最大軸方向寸法であり、図示例では、内側継手部材32の円筒部32aの両端面間の軸方向距離である。
(4)内輪肉厚(内側継手部材の半径方向の肉厚)TI:継手中心平面P{継手中心O(f)を通り、軸線と直交する平面}におけるトラック溝32eの溝底とスプライン穴32cのピッチ円との半径方向距離である。
(5)スプラインPCD(内側継手部材のスプライン穴のピッチ円径)PCDSPL:内側継手部材32のスプライン穴32cと中間シャフト4のスプライン46との噛み合いピッチ円の直径である。
(6)外輪外径DO:外側継手部材31の最大外径である。
(7)継手中心〜外輪開口端面長さW1O:継手中心O(f)と外側継手部材31のマウス部31aの開口側端面(インボード側の端面)との軸方向距離である。
(8)保持器肉厚TC:保持器34の継手中心平面Pにおける半径方向の肉厚である。
(9)保持器幅WC:保持器34の最大軸方向寸法であり、図示例では保持器34の両端面間の軸方向距離である。

Claims (3)
- 後輪用ドライブシャフトに用いられる固定式等速自在継手であって、
軸方向一方に開口したカップ状のマウス部を有し、球面状の内周面に軸方向に延びる8本のトラック溝が形成された外側継手部材と、球面状の外周面に軸方向に延びる8本のトラック溝が形成され、軸心にスプライン穴が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と前記内側継手部材のトラック溝とで形成されるボールトラックに配された8個のボールと、前記ボールを収容する8個のポケットを有し、前記外側継手部材の内周面及び前記内側継手部材の外周面に摺接する保持器とを備え、
前記外側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心と前記内側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心とがそれぞれ継手中心に対して軸方向反対側に等距離だけオフセットされ、
前記ボールのピッチ円径PCDBALLと前記ボールの直径DBALLとの比PCDBALL/DBALLが3.70〜3.87であり、
前記継手中心から前記外側継手部材のマウス部の開口側端面までの軸方向長さW1Oと前記ボールの直径DBALLとの比W1O/DBALLが0.35〜0.52である固定式等速自在継手。 - 前記外側継手部材の内周面の開口端における直径が、前記保持器を軸方向から見たときのポケットの周方向中央部における外径よりも大きい請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 最大作動角が20°以下である請求項1又は2に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
