付記A〜A13のいずれか1つに記載のノズルとを含み、前記ノズルは、前記押出機バレル出口に接続されるように構成されている、押出システム。
Claims (11)
- 押出機バレルから複合材料を押し出すためのノズルであって、前記ノズルは、
本体と、
前記本体を通って延びるテーパー状ノズル通路とを含み、
前記テーパー状ノズル通路は、
前記押出機バレルに接続するように構成されたノズル入口開口と、
ノズル出口開口とを含み、
前記テーパー状ノズル通路は、前記押出機バレルと前記ノズル出口開口との間で、角部の無い滑らかな移行部を有して延びる輪郭形成ノズル通路面を有しており、前記ノズル入口開口から前記ノズル出口開口までの間で、其々の輪郭形状を有する各ノズル通路面部分が、これとは異なる輪郭形状を有する別のノズル通路面部分へと滑らかに移行しており、
前記ノズル出口開口は、少なくとも、鋭角で交差する第1エッジ及び第2エッジによって規定されている、ノズル。 - 前記第1エッジ及び前記第2エッジは、前記ノズル出口開口の面内で湾曲しており、前記第1エッジ及び前記第2エッジが前記ノズル出口開口の中心線に向かうように、前記テーパー状ノズル通路に対して凹状となっている、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記ノズル出口開口は、前記第1エッジと前記第2エッジの間で延びてこれらを繋ぐ第3エッジを含み、前記第3エッジは、前記第1エッジと前記第2エッジの交点の反対側に位置している、請求項1又は2に記載のノズル。
- 前記ノズル出口開口は、前記ノズル出口開口から押し出されて硬化された材料ヌードルの形状よりも、前記ノズル出口開口の中心線に対する、前記ノズル出口開口の縦方向長さが長く、前記ノズル出口開口の横幅が狭くなるように、サイズ及び形状が設定されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のノズル。
- 前記ノズル入口開口と前記ノズル出口開口とを繋ぐ前記輪郭形成ノズル通路面は、前記ノズル出口開口において、前記本体の外面へと円弧状に移行している、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載のノズル。
- 前記押出機バレルから前記ノズル出口開口までの前記テーパー状ノズル通路の長さは、前記ノズル入口開口の直径の約1倍〜約1.5倍である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載のノズル。
- 押出機バレルから複合材料を押し出すためのノズルアセンブリであって、
請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載のノズルと、
取付アダプター入口開口及び取付アダプター出口開口を含む取付アダプターとを含み、前記取付アダプター入口開口は、前記押出機バレルに接続するように構成されており、前記取付アダプター出口開口は、前記ノズル入口開口に接続するように構成されており、前記取付アダプターは、前記押出機バレルと前記ノズル入口開口との間で延びる輪郭形成アダプター通路面を含む、ノズルアセンブリ。 - 前記輪郭形成アダプター通路面と前記輪郭形成ノズル通路面とが、前記取付アダプター入口開口と前記ノズル出口開口との間で延びる滑らかな内面を規定している、請求項7に記載のノズルアセンブリ。
- 複合材料を押し出す方法であって、
押出機バレルとノズルのノズル出口開口との間で前記ノズルの本体を通って延びるテーパー状ノズル通路に、複合材料を送給し、前記複合材料は、前記テーパー状ノズル通路の輪郭形成ノズル通路面上を流れ、
前記輪郭形成ノズル通路面は、角部を含むことなく滑らかに移行しており、前記押出機バレルから前記ノズル出口開口までの間で、其々の輪郭形状を有する各ノズル通路面部分が、これとは異なる輪郭形状を有する別のノズル通路面部分へと滑らかに移行しており、
前記ノズル出口開口は、少なくとも、鋭角で交差する第1エッジ及び第2エッジによって規定されており、
前記ノズル出口開口から前記複合材料を押し出す、方法。 - 前記複合材料を押し出すことは、前記鋭角の反対側にある前記複合材料の面が前記鋭角に対して凸状となるように、前記複合材料を押し出すことを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記輪郭形成ノズル通路面上を流れる前記複合材料の所定の粘度を維持すること、及び、
輪郭形成ノズル通路面上を流れる前記複合材料の層流を維持すること、のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
