Abstract
【解決手段】変位検出装置1は、変位方向Dsに変位するものであって、棒状であり長手方向が変位方向Dsと予め定めた角度θをなす形状を有する磁石2と、変位方向Dsに直行するx方向及びz方向において磁石2の形成する磁界の磁束密度を検出し、検出した磁界に比例した信号を出力するセンサIC1とを有する。

Description
少なくとも前記一の方向及び前記磁石の磁化方向に直行する方向において前記磁石の形成する磁界の磁束密度を検出し、検出した磁界に比例した信号を出力するセンサとを有する変位検出装置。
[2]前記センサは、前記一の方向に直行する第1の方向を感度方向とする複数の磁気検出素子を有し、前記一の方向及び前記第1の方向に直行する第2の方向の磁束を前記第1の方向の磁束に変換する磁気コンセントレータを有する前記[1]に記載の変位検出装置。
[3]前記センサは、前記複数の磁気検出素子の出力を加算して前記第1の方向の磁束密度に比例した信号を出力し、前記複数の磁気検出素子の出力の差分をとることで前記第2の方向の磁束密度に比例した信号を出力する前記[2]に記載の変位検出装置。
[4]前記磁石は、前記一の方向に直行する方向に磁化方向を有する前記[1]‐[3]のいずれかに記載の変位検出装置。
請求項2に係る発明によれば、一の方向及び第1の方向に直行する第2の方向の磁束を第1の方向の磁束に変換することで、一の方向に直行する第1の方向を感度方向とする複数の磁気検出素子によって、第1の方向の磁束及び第2の方向の磁束を検出することができる。
請求項3に係る発明によれば、複数の磁気検出素子の出力を加算して第1の方向の磁束密度に比例した信号を出力し、複数の磁気検出素子の出力の差分をとることで第2の方向の磁束密度に比例した信号を出力することができる。
請求項4に係る発明によれば、一の方向に直行する方向に磁化方向を有する磁石を用いることができる。
(変位検出装置の構成)
図1は、第1の実施の形態に係る変位検出装置の構成例を示す斜視図である。図2(a)及び(b)は、変位検出装置の構成を示す平面図及び側面図である。
次に、第1の実施の形態の作用を、図1−図9を用いて説明する。
図4は、変位検出装置3のセンサIC1の動作を説明するための概略図である。
図7(a)‐(c)は、それぞれ磁石2の変位を示す概略平面図、磁石2によって形成される磁場の様子を示す概略正面図及び差動回路13と加算回路14とから出力される出力値を示すグラフ図である。
上記した第1の実施の形態によれば、磁石2を変位方向Dsに対して予め定めた角度θだけ傾いた形状としてセンサIC1上に配置し、変位方向Dsと直行するx方向及びz方向の磁束を検出するようにしたため(少なくともx方向の磁束は単調減少するため)、センサIC1の出力値から一意に検出対象である磁石2の変位を決定することができるとともに、検出対象の変位の範囲をセンサIC1が検出可能な変位の範囲より広げることができる。
第2の実施の形態は、第1の実施の形態の磁石の磁化方向Dmをx軸に平行な向きにした点で第1の実施の形態と異なる。なお、以下において、第1の実施の形態と共通する構成については同様の符号を用いる。
次に、第2の実施の形態の作用を、図10及び図11を用いて説明する。
上記した第2の実施の形態によれば、磁化方向Dmをx方向とした場合も、第1の実施の形態と同様に、センサIC1の出力値から一意に検出対象である磁石2の変位を決定することができるとともに、検出対象の変位の範囲をセンサIC1が検出可能な変位の範囲より広げることができる。
なお、本発明は、上記実施の形態に限定されず、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々な変形が可能である。

Claims (4)
- 一の方向に変位するものであって、棒状であり長手方向が前記一の方向と予め定めた角度をなす形状を有する磁石と、
少なくとも前記一の方向及び前記磁石の磁化方向に直行する方向において前記磁石の形成する磁界の磁束密度を検出し、検出した磁界に比例した信号を出力するセンサとを有する変位検出装置。 - 前記センサは、前記一の方向に直行する第1の方向を感度方向とする複数の磁気検出素子を有し、前記一の方向及び前記第1の方向に直行する第2の方向の磁束を前記第1の方向の磁束に変換する磁気コンセントレータを有する請求項1に記載の変位検出装置。
- 前記センサは、前記複数の磁気検出素子の出力を加算して前記第1の方向の磁束密度に比例した信号を出力し、前記複数の磁気検出素子の出力の差分をとることで前記第2の方向の磁束密度に比例した信号を出力する請求項2に記載の変位検出装置。
- 前記磁石は、前記一の方向に直行する方向に磁化方向を有する請求項1‐3のいずれか1項に記載の変位検出装置。
