Claims (4)
- 対向させて配置した上部構成体と下部構成体との相互間に形成される処理空間を通過するようにガラス基板を平置き姿勢で搬送方向に搬送しつつ、前記下部構成体に備わった給気口から前記処理空間に給気され、且つ、前記下部構成体における前記搬送方向の上流側端部および下流側端部の各々に備わった排気口により前記処理空間から排気される処理ガスを用いて、前記ガラス基板の下面にエッチング処理を施す工程を含んだガラス基板の製造方法であって、
前記搬送方向に沿った距離について、前記上流側端部の排気口と最上流側の前記給気口との相互間距離に比べて、前記下流側端部の排気口と最下流側の前記給気口との相互間距離を長くしたことを特徴とするガラス基板の製造方法。 - 前記給気口を、前記ガラス基板の搬送方向に直交する幅方向に長尺なスリット状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス基板の製造方法。
- 前記搬送方向に沿って複数の前記給気口を配置し、各給気口から前記処理ガスを給気することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のガラス基板の製造方法。
- 複数の前記給気口のうち、最下流側の前記給気口が給気する前記処理ガスの流量を最も多くすることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかにガラス基板の製造方法。
