Abstract
【解決手段】反射層32bは白画素PWと有彩色画素PR、PG、PBとに設けられてる。半透明反射層35bは白画素PWと有彩色画素PR、PG、PBとに設けられている。白画素PWにおいては、半透明反射層35bと中間層35Wは、光を拡散させる構造を構成している。

Claims (9)
- 白色で発光する白画素と、
有彩色で発光する有彩色画素と、
前記白画素と前記有彩色画素とに設けられている第1反射層と、
前記白画素と前記有彩色画素とに設けられている、前記第1反射層と向き合っている第2反射層と、
前記白画素と前記有彩色画素とに設けられている、前記第1反射層と前記第2反射層との間に形成されている発光層とを有し、
第1の色で発光する前記有彩色画素と、第2の色で発光する前記有彩色画素とでは、前記第1反射層と前記第2反射層との間の距離が異なり、
前記白画素においては、前記第2反射層、及び前記第1反射層と前記第2反射層との間の層のうち少なくとも一つは、前記光を拡散する構造を構成している
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記白画素は表面に凹凸が形成されている中間層を有し、
前記白画素において前記第2反射層は前記中間層の前記表面に形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載される表示装置。 - 前記白画素において前記第2反射層が形成されている前記中間層の前記表面の表面荒さは、前記前記有彩色画素において前記第2反射層が形成されている層の表面粗さよりも高い、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載される表示装置。 - 前記中間層の前記表面に形成されている凹凸は0.5μm以上の高さを有している
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載される表示装置。 - 前記中間層の前記表面に形成されている凹凸は前記第2反射層の厚さよりも大きな高さを有している
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載される表示装置。 - 前記白画素と前記有彩色画素のそれぞれは、互いに向き合う2つの電極の間に形成され且つ前記発光層を含んでいる有機層を有し、
前記中間層の材料のガラス転移温度は前記有機層を構成している材料のガラス転移温度よりも低い
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載される表示装置。 - 前記白画素と前記有彩色画素のうち少なくとも前記白画素は、前記第1反射層と前記第2反射層との間に形成されている中間層を有し、
前記中間層は前記白画素において、前記中間層の材料の屈折率とは異なる屈折率を有している材料の粒子を含んでいる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載される表示装置。 - 前記粒子の屈折率は前記中間層の材料の屈折率よりも低い
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載される表示装置。 - 前記第2反射層は半透明反射層であり、
前記白画素は電極を構成している透明導電層と前記第2反射層との間に形成されている中間層を有し、
前記中間層は光を拡散する構造を構成している
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載される表示装置。
