Abstract
【解決手段】流路装置1は、流路2を内部に備え、流路2は、連続相を流通させる主流路21と、分散相を主流路21へ導く副流路22とを有し、主流路21は、副流路22と連通する接続口27を有し、主流路21の内壁面は、接続口27の下流側に設けられ、接続口27から主流路21に流入して当該内壁面に付着した分散相の剥離を促すように主流路21の外側へ拡がる拡大面23aを有する。

Claims (7)
- 連続相と分散相を流通させて連続相中に分散相の液滴を形成するための流路を内部に備える流路装置であって、
前記流路は、前記連続相を流通させる主流路と、その主流路の途中に繋がり、前記分散相を前記主流路へ導く副流路とを有し、
前記主流路は、前記副流路と連通する接続口を有し、
前記主流路の内壁面は、前記接続口の下流側に設けられ、前記接続口から前記主流路に流入して当該内壁面に付着した前記分散相の剥離を促すように前記主流路の外側へ拡がる拡大面を有する、流路装置。 - 前記拡大面からその上流側に隣接した前記主流路の内壁面である隣接内壁面にかけての領域の傾きは、前記拡大面と前記隣接内壁面との間の境界を境にして不連続に変化している、請求項1に記載の流路装置。
- 前記拡大面を下流側から上流側の前記接続口側へ向かって見た場合に、前記拡大面は前記接続口を覆う範囲に設けられている、請求項1又は2に記載の流路装置。
- 前記主流路は、前記拡大面によって当該主流路が延びる方向に対する直交方向における当該主流路の断面積が拡大した拡大部と、当該主流路のうち前記拡大部よりも下流側に位置し、前記直交方向における断面積が前記拡大部の前記直交方向における断面積よりも小さい部分とを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の流路装置。
- 前記流路が複数並列に設けられた流路層を備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の流路装置。
- 前記流路層を複数備え、その複数の流路層が積層されている、請求項5に記載の流路装置。
- 分散相の液滴を形成する方法であって、
請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の流路装置内の前記流路に連続相と分散相を流通させて連続相中に分散相の液滴を形成する液滴形成工程を備え、
前記液滴形成工程では、前記主流路に前記連続相を流通させるとともに前記副流路から前記接続口を通じて前記主流路内に前記分散相を流入させ、前記主流路内に流入した前記分散相が、前記主流路の内壁面に付着しつつ前記連続相の流れに押されて下流側へ移動し、前記拡大面に達したときに前記内壁面から剥離して下流側へ流れてせん断されることにより、前記分散相の液滴を形成する、液滴形成方法。
