アプリケーション及び前記アプリケーションをターゲットとする対話型放送イベントに関するメタデータを含むパラメータテーブルを生成するステップと、
前記パラメータテーブルを複数のパラメータブロックに分離するステップと、
それぞれの前記パラメータブロックをそれぞれの複数のパラメータテーブルセクションに挿入するステップと、
シグナリングを識別し、前記対話型放送イベントの再生のタイミングを設定するために、シグナリングエレメントであるトリガーを生成するステップと、
前記トリガーを前記放送信号のクローズドキャプションチャネルに挿入するステップと、
前記クローズドキャプションチャネル及び前記複数のパラメータテーブルセクションを伝達するサービスシグナリングチャネルを含む前記放送信号を伝送するステップとを含み、
前記トリガーは、前記放送信号において前記パラメータテーブルの位置を特定する位置情報を含む、送信機側で対話型放送サービスを含む放送信号を処理する方法。 - 前記パラメータテーブルセクションは、
前記パラメータテーブルセクションを識別するテーブル識別子フィールドと、

前記トリガーでの前記位置情報に基づいて、前記パラメータテーブルから分離されたそれぞれの複数のパラメータブロックをそれぞれ含む複数のパラメータテーブルセクションを収集し、前記複数のパラメータブロックを用いて、アプリケーション及び前記アプリケーションをターゲットとする対話型放送イベントに関するメタデータを含む前記パラメータテーブルを形成するように構成されたトリガーモジュールと、
前記形成されたパラメータテーブルに基づいて前記対話型放送サービスを提供するように構成されたプロセッサとを含む、対話型放送サービスを含む放送信号を処理する受信機。 - 前記パラメータテーブルセクションは、

- 前記パラメータテーブルセクションは、パラメータテーブルセクションのセクション番号を特定するセクション番号フィールドをさらに含み、前記セクション番号は、前記パラメータテーブルにおいて追加されるパラメータテーブルセクション毎に1ずつ増加する、請求項10に記載の対話型放送サービスを含む放送信号を処理する受信機。
- 前記パラメータテーブルセクションは、前記複数のパラメータテーブルセクションにおいてパラメータテーブルセクションの順序を特定するセクション番号フィールドをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の対話型放送サービスを含む放送信号を処理する受信機。
