Abstract
Description
図1は、摩擦撹拌接合方法の第1実施形態を示すもので、図1(a)はワーク同士の角隅部における摩擦撹拌接合が行われている個所を示す平面図、図1(b)は図1(a)のA−A方向矢視図である。
図2は、第1実施形態の応用例を示すもので、ワーク同士の角隅部における摩擦撹拌接合が行われている個所を摩擦撹拌接合進行方向の一方から見た図である。
図3は、摩擦撹拌接合方法の第2実施形態を示すもので、ワーク同士の角隅部における摩擦撹拌接合が行われている個所を摩擦撹拌接合進行方向の一方から見た図である。
Claims (2)
- 第1のワークと、該第1のワークの面に対して交わる角度姿勢で端縁を接して配置される第2のワークとで形成される両角隅部を接合する摩擦撹拌接合方法であって、
前記両角隅部に回転駆動して没入させるプローブと、該プローブの基端側の外周に配置されて前記各角隅部を形成する2つのワークの面に接触させられる固定式ショルダとを有する一対の摩擦撹拌接合ツールを、前記第2のワークを挟んだ両側の角隅部に配置して、前記各プローブが前記各角隅部に没入されて撹拌される領域が摩擦撹拌接合進行方向の同じ位置に形成されるようにし、
前記各摩擦撹拌接合ツールにより各角隅部を同時に摩擦撹拌接合すること
を特徴とする摩擦撹拌接合方法。 - 前記各摩擦撹拌接合ツールは、前記各プローブが前記各角隅部に没入されて撹拌される領域が干渉しないように配置されていること
を特徴とする請求項1記載の摩擦撹拌接合方法。
