Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that some people wear a reflector or carry an illuminator during night-time walking to prevent encounter with a traffic accident, the reflector offers poor visibility to a weak light source such as a bicycle lamp and it is hard to walk with holding both a dumbbell and an illuminator for promoting swinging the arms.SOLUTION: Lamp parts are provided in the front/back of a handle part of a dumbbell and lightings are visible from both front and back while walking. A permanent magnet which generates power by forward-and-backward move is provided inside the dumbbell to be a power source and the effect capable of having swinging arm exercise comfortably and effectively can be expected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

Description

  The present invention relates to a technique for improving the safety of walking sports.

  Night walking often results in traffic accidents, and in order to improve driver visibility, we have tried to prevent accidents by wearing reflectors, armbands, etc., or carrying battery-powered lighting fixtures.

  In order to enhance the health effect of walking, it is recommended to shake the hand largely back and forth, and in order to do it smoothly, it is recommended to shake the hand with a weight such as a dumbbell.

  The reflective material has poor visibility for a weak light source such as a bicycle lamp, and it is difficult to walk with both a dumbbell and a lighting fixture.

  The present invention is intended to facilitate simultaneous use of both a dumbbell and a lighting device, to prevent traffic accidents, and to make walking motions comfortable and efficient.

  In order to achieve the above object, a lamp part is provided in front of and behind the handle part, and the dumbbell is provided so that the illumination can be seen from both the front and back during walking.

  Electricity necessary for lamp lighting is generated by arranging a coil inside the cylindrical handle of the dumbbell and moving a permanent magnet passed through a guide rod in the center part back and forth. The permanent magnet is a necessary weight for the dumbbell.

  Visibility from the driver from which direction because of the lamp around the dumbbell having both hands may, and can be expected alert with blinking effect for the lighting unit in accordance with the swing of the hands to move.

  The permanent magnet's back-and-forth movement is reduced when the hand shakes poorly, and the lighting is darkened, so a hand-shaking reminder effect can be expected.

  The back-and-forth movement of the permanent magnet reverses the direction of the hand swing and the cycle, so a sense of rhythm is generated in the hand swing and comfortable walking.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

  An external perspective view of the present invention is shown in FIG. A ramp portion (2) larger than the handle portion diameter is provided before and after the cylindrical dumbbell handle portion (1) to prevent slipping.

  An insulated coil (3) is provided inside the outer handle cylinder. A guide rod (4) for smoothly moving the permanent magnet back and forth is provided at the center. Pass the permanent magnet (5) with a hole in the guide rod.

  In order to mitigate the impact caused by the movement of the permanent magnet at the boundary between the lamp part and the handle part, a buffer part (6) such as elastic rubber or spring is provided.

  The light bulb and coil of the lamp unit are connected by electric wires to enable lighting.

  In order to bring the lighting effect to the dumbbell more easily, the coil, the guide rod, and the permanent magnet can be removed and a dry battery can be inserted, but the effect of the longitudinal movement of the permanent magnet cannot be expected.

Claims (2)

  A dumbbell in which a coil and a permanent magnet are placed inside the handle and the arm moves back and forth to move the permanent magnet back and forth.   A device provided with lamps before and after the dumbbell and lit using electricity or a battery generated according to claim 1.
