Abstract
【解決手段】車両に車両周辺の物体を検知する超音波センサを装備した構成において、車両が所定速度以上で走行している期間(S60:No)にセンサから超音波を発信せず受信機能のみを作動させて(S100)、例えば雨などの物体を検知したら車両周辺の物体検知判定で用いられる検知判定回数を増加させる(S130)。これにより、雨など本来検出したい物体ではない物体による物体誤検知の可能性が効果的に低減される。

Claims (5)
- 車両の周辺に向けて検知波を出力する出力機能と、その検知波が車両周辺の物体で反射して形成された反射波に基づいて該物体を検知する検知機能と、を有する検知手段(2)と、
その検知手段の検知機能による物体の検知回数が所定回数を超えたら車両周辺に確かにその物体が存在すると判定する判定手段(3、S110)と、
前記車両が所定速度以上で走行している場合に、前記検知手段における前記出力機能を作動させず前記検知機能を作動させるように制御する制御手段(3、S130)と、
前記車両が所定速度以上で走行している場合に前記制御手段が作動させた前記検知機能によって物体が検知された場合に、前記判定手段における前記所定回数を増加させるように調節する調節手段(3、S180)と、
を備えたことを特徴とする検知システム。 - 前記調節手段によって前記所定回数を増加させるように調節された後に、前記制御手段が機能させた前記検知機能によって物体が検知されない場合に、前記判定手段における前記所定回数を減少させるように調節する副調節手段(3、S140)を備えた請求項1に記載の検知システム。
- 前記判定手段は、前記車両が前記所定速度未満で走行している期間における前記検知手段の検知機能による物体の検知回数が所定回数を超えたら車両周辺に確かにその物体が存在すると判定する請求項1又は2に記載の検知システム。
- 前記調節手段は、前記制御手段が機能させた前記検知機能による物体の検知回数が多いほど前記所定回数の増加幅が大きくなるように調節する請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の検知システム。
- 前記検知波は超音波である請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の検知システム。
