Abstract
【解決手段】外輪3と内輪2との間の環状空間に、複数の転動体4が保持器5により周方向に沿って所定間隔で保持された状態で配置されており、前記内輪2の軸方向一端側の肩径が当該内輪の軸方向他端側の肩径と異なっており、かつ、前記環状空間の軸方向両端に当該環状空間内のグリースの外部への漏洩を抑制する遮蔽部6が設けられてなる転がり軸受1。前記内輪2のうち肩径が大きい大端側2bと対向する外輪内周面と、当該外輪内周面と対向する保持器外周面との間の第1隙間c1が、前記内輪2のうち肩径が小さい小端側2aと対向する外輪内周面と、当該外輪内周面と対向する保持器外周面との間の第2隙間c2よりも大きくされてなる。

前記内輪の軸方向一端側の肩径が当該内輪の軸方向他端側の肩径と異なっており、かつ、
前記環状空間の軸方向両端に当該環状空間内のグリースの外部への漏洩を抑制する遮蔽部が設けられてなる転がり軸受であって、
前記内輪のうち肩径が大きい大端側と対向する外輪内周面と、当該外輪内周面と対向する保持器外周面との間の第1隙間が、前記内輪のうち肩径が小さい小端側と対向する外輪内周面と、当該外輪内周面と対向する保持器外周面との間の第2隙間よりも大きくされてなる。
〔第1実施形態〕
図1は、本発明の一実施形態(第1実施形態)に係る転がり軸受の部分断面説明図である。本実施形態に係る転がり軸受1は、内輪2と、外輪3と、複数の転動体である玉4と、保持器5と、遮蔽部であるシール部6とを備えている。
図2は、本発明の他の実施形態(第2実施形態)に係る転がり軸受の部分断面説明図である。図2に示される転がり軸受21が、図1に示される転がり軸受1と異なる点は、外輪22の軌道溝23につながるグリース貯留溝24を軸方向外側に延設することで、第1隙間を第2隙間よりも大きくしている点である。それ以外の構成については、第1実施形態に係る転がり軸受1と同じであるので、共通する構成には同一の参照符号を付し、簡単のため、それらの説明を省略する。
本発明は前述した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲内において種々の変更が可能である。
例えば、前述した実施形態では、外輪の内径部の寸法を調整することで第1隙間を第2隙間よりも大きくしているが、図3に示されるように、玉4を挟んだ、保持器25の左右(軸方向の左右)のリム部25c1、25c2の断面形状を変えることで第1隙間を第2隙間よりも大きくすることもできる。具体的に、内輪大端部2bと対向する側のリム部25c1の径方向の寸法t1を、内輪小端部2aと対向する側のリム部25c2の径方向の寸法t2よりも小さくすることで第1隙間を第2隙間よりも大きくすることもできる。換言すれば、内輪大端部2bと対向する側の保持器外周面の直径を、内輪小端部2aと対向する側の保持器外周面の直径よりも小さくすることで第1隙間を第2隙間よりも大きくすることもできる。
また、前述した実施形態では、グリースの軸受外部への漏洩を阻害する遮蔽部として芯金と、これに被着されたシール体とからなるシール部を用いているが、例えばハウジングなど軸受以外の部材の壁面により内輪と外輪との間の環状空間の端部を閉止する場合も考えられ、この場合は、前記ハウジングの壁面が遮蔽部を構成する。
Claims (3)
- 外輪と内輪との間の環状空間に、複数の転動体が保持器により周方向に沿って所定間隔で保持された状態で配置されており、
前記内輪の軸方向一端側の肩径が当該内輪の軸方向他端側の肩径と異なっており、かつ、
前記環状空間の軸方向両端に当該環状空間内のグリースの外部への漏洩を抑制する遮蔽部が設けられてなる転がり軸受であって、
前記内輪のうち肩径が大きい大端側と対向する外輪内周面と、当該外輪内周面と対向する保持器外周面との間の第1隙間が、前記内輪のうち肩径が小さい小端側と対向する外輪内周面と、当該外輪内周面と対向する保持器外周面との間の第2隙間よりも大きくされてなる、転がり軸受。 - 前記外輪の内径部に形成された軌道溝につながるグリース貯留溝が軸方向外側に延設されて、前記内輪のうち肩径が大きい大端側と対向する外輪内周面に周方向に沿った溝状のグリース溜りが形成されており、前記グリース溜りの溝底の幅が当該グリース溜りと対向する保持器の幅よりも大きくされてなる請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記第1隙間を規定する保持器外周面の直径が、前記第2隙間を規定する保持器外周面の直径よりも小さくされてなる、請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
