Abstract
【解決手段】差動信号対を提供するように配置された1対の端子91,93を有するコネクタを提供する。接地端子70Aは前記差動対91,93の両側に位置する。前記差動対91,93の本体部は、前記差動対91,93が相互により近づくように配置される。実施例において、4つの端子が尾部と接触部との間の一定の間隔で位置づけられた設計と比べ、前記差動対91,93におけるカップリングの百分比は少なくとも10%増加する。

Claims (8)
- コネクタであって、
突合せ面と取付け側とを有し、該取付け側は回路基板によって支持されるように構成され、スロットが前記突合せ面に位置し、前記スロットは第1組の端子溝が設けられた第1側と、第2組の端子溝が設けられた第2側とを有するハウジングと、
前記取付け側から前記第1組の端子溝に延伸する第1組の端子であって、該第1組の端子は前記スロットの第1側において第1行の端子を形成し、前記第1組の端子における各端子は接触部と該接触部まで延伸する本体部とを有し、前記第1行の端子は両側が接地端子に囲まれた差動信号対を含み、前記第1行の端子における各端子は、前記差動信号対及び両側の接地端子から成る4つの端子の接触部が一定の間隔であり、前記4つの端子の本体部がその接触部より幅が広く、これにより、前記4つの端子の本体部間の間隔がその接触部間の間隔より狭くなるように構成されている第1組の端子と、を備えるコネクタ。 - 前記取付け側から前記第2組の端子溝に延伸する第2組の端子であって、該第2組の端子は前記スロットの第2側において第2行の端子を形成し、前記第2組の端子における各端子は接触部と該接触部まで延伸する本体部とを有し、前記第2行の端子は両側が接地端子に囲まれた差動信号対を含み、前記第2行の端子における各端子は、前記差動信号対及び両側の接地端子から成る4つの端子の接触部が一定の間隔であり、前記4つの端子の本体部がその接触部より幅が広く、これにより、前記4つの端子の本体部間の間隔がその接触部間の間隔より狭くなるように構成されている第2組の端子を更に備える、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記4つの端子における隣合う2つの接触部間の距離は、前記4つの端子における隣合う2つの本体部間の距離より長い、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記差動信号対における2つの端子の本体部同士は、前記差動信号対における1つの端子の本体部とそれに隣合う接地端子の本体部とよりも、接近している、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接触部まで延伸する前記本体部は、片持ち梁状であって、前記接触部に隣接する部分は支持されていない、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記本体部における支持されていない部分は前記端子溝内に位置せず、前記接触部の少なくとも一部は前記端子溝内に位置する、請求項5に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接触部まで延伸する前記本体部は、支持されている部分の終端から前記接触部までで、一定の幅を有する、請求項5に記載のコネクタ。
- 差動インピーダンスが100Ωに調整された、請求項7に記載のコネクタ。
