Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の連動機能を自動に実行する方法は、デバイスが、前記デバイスの周辺に他のデバイスが存在するか否かを判断するステップと、前記他のデバイスが存在すると判断される場合、前記デバイスが前記他のデバイスの位置に応じて前記他のデバイスとの連動機能を行うステップと、を含む。

Description
図1Aおよび図1Bは、本発明の第1実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図1Aには、デジタルカメラ110がデジタルフォトフレーム120の近くに(予め設定された距離内に)隣接した状態を示されている。
図2Aおよび2Bは、本発明の第2実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図2Aには、デジタルカメラ220がPC210の近くに隣接した状態を示している。
図3Aおよび3Bは、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図3Aには、写真を再生しているデジタルカメラ310が、プリンタ320に隣接した状態を示している。
図4Aおよび図4Bは、本発明の第4の実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図4Aには、写真を再生している携帯電話A410と、待機モードの携帯電話B420が互いに隣接した状態を示している。
図5Aおよび図5Bは、本発明の第5実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図5Aには、写真を再生している携帯電話510が放送の再生中であるTV520に隣接した状態を示している。
図6Aおよび6Bは、本発明の第6の実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図6Aには、デジタルカムコーダ610が放送の再生中のTV620に近く隣接した状態を示している。
図7Aおよび図7Bは、本発明の第7実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図7Aには、携帯電話720がPC710に近く隣接した状態を示している。
図8は、隣接したデバイスとの間に連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供されるフローチャートである。
図9A、図9B、図10A、および図10Bは、本発明の第8実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。図9Aには、デジタルカメラ920がデジタルフォトフレーム910の「背面」に近く隣接した状態を示している。
図11は隣接したデバイスの位置を考慮し、相異なる種類の連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供されるフローチャートである。
図12A、図12B、図13A、図13B、図14A、および図14Bは、本発明の第9実施形態に係る連動機能の自動実行方法を説明するために提供される図である。
上記の実施形態において、2つのデバイスが互いに隣接した場合に連動機能が自動に実行されるものと想定したが、これは例示的なものであるため、これとは異なるように実現可能である。たとえば、2つのデバイスが接した(タッチした)場合に連動機能が自動に行われるよう実現することも可能である。
前述した実施形態で記載したデバイスは例示的なものに過ぎない。上記のデバイス以外のデバイスも本発明の技術的な思想が適用され得る。

Claims (6)
- 他デバイスと協力機能を行うデバイスにおいて、
通信部と、
前記通信部を介して受信された信号に基づいて前記他デバイスが前記デバイスの周辺領域に存在するか否かを判断し、前記他デバイスに対する前記デバイスの相対的位置に応じて、複数の協力機能のうちの1つの協力機能を選択し、前記他デバイスと選択された協力機能を行う制御部と
を含むデバイス。 - 前記信号は、
前記周辺領域に信号を伝送することに応答し、前記通信部を介して受信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記制御部は、
前記通信部を介して受信された信号に基づいて、前記他デバイスが前記デバイスの前、後、左、右に存在するかを判断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - デバイスが他デバイスと協力機能を行う方法において、
受信された信号に基づいて、前記他デバイスが前記デバイスの周辺領域に存在するか否かを判断するステップと、
前記他デバイスに対する前記デバイスの相対的に位置に応じて、複数の協力機能のうちの1つの協力機能を選択するステップと、
前記他デバイスと選択された協力機能を行うステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記信号は、
前記周辺領域に信号を伝送することに応答して受信されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記判断するステップは、
前記受信された信号に基づいて、前記他デバイスが前記デバイスの前、後、左、右に存在するかを判断することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
