Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、第1衝突検知センサが検知した衝突の大きさが車外エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合に車外エアバッグを展開させ、第2衝突検知センサが検知した衝突の大きさが車内エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合に車内エアバッグを展開させるエアバッグ制御手段と、車内エアバッグが展開されるときに自動ブレーキ制御を行う制動制御手段と、を備える。ここで、制動制御手段は、車外エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合であって車内エアバッグの展開条件を満たさない場合においても、車外エアバッグが展開されるときに自動ブレーキ制御を行う。

図2〜図3を参照して、本発明に係る車両制御装置の構成について説明する。ここで、図2は、本発明に係る車両制御装置の構成を示す図である。図3は、歩行者との衝突検知時に車外エアバッグが展開される状況の一例を示す図である。

Claims (5)
- 歩行者との衝突を検知する第1衝突検知センサと、
車外の障害物との衝突を検知する前記第1衝突検知センサとは異なる第2衝突検知センサと、
前記歩行者を保護するために自車両のフロントウインドウの前方に展開する車外エアバッグと、
前記自車両の乗員を保護するために車室内に展開する車内エアバッグと、
前記第1衝突検知センサが検知した衝突の大きさが前記車外エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合に当該車外エアバッグを展開させ、前記第2衝突検知センサが検知した衝突の大きさが前記車外エアバッグの展開条件とは異なる前記車内エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合に、当該車内エアバッグを展開させるエアバッグ制御手段と、
前記車内エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合において、前記エアバッグ制御手段により前記車内エアバッグが展開されるときに、自動ブレーキ制御を行う制動制御手段と、
を備え、
前記制動制御手段は、
前記車外エアバッグの展開条件を満たす場合であって前記車内エアバッグの展開条件を満たさない場合においても、前記エアバッグ制御手段により前記車外エアバッグが展開されるときに、前記自動ブレーキ制御を行うことを特徴とする車両制御装置。 - 前記車内エアバッグの展開条件は、衝突の大きさを示す変数が第1の閾値以上となったときに前記車内エアバッグを展開させるように設定され、
前記車外エアバッグの展開条件は、前記車内エアバッグの展開条件に設定された衝突の大きさを示す変数とは異なる種類の変数が第2の閾値以上となったときに前記車外エアバッグを展開させるように設定される請求項1に記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記車内エアバッグの展開条件は、衝突の大きさを示す変数が第1の閾値以上となったときに前記車内エアバッグを展開させるように設定され、
前記車外エアバッグの展開条件は、前記車内エアバッグの展開条件に設定された衝突の大きさを示す変数と同じ種類の変数が、前記第1の閾値よりも小さい第2の閾値以上となったときに前記車外エアバッグを展開させるように設定される請求項1に記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記自車両が自車線から逸脱しないように自動操舵制御を行う操舵制御手段、
を更に備え、
前記操舵制御手段は、
前記エアバッグ制御手段により前記車外エアバッグが展開されるときに行われる前記制動制御手段による前記自動ブレーキ制御とともに前記自動操舵制御を行う請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記制動制御手段は、
前記自動ブレーキ制御中に前記自車両の運転者によるアクセル操作が検出された場合に前記自動ブレーキ制御を解除する条件において、第1の所定時間以内は前記アクセル操作が検出されても前記自動ブレーキ制御を解除せず、前記第1の所定時間より長い第2の所定時間を超えた場合には前記運転者によるアクセル操作が検出されなくとも前記自動ブレーキ制御を解除する請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の車両制御装置。
