Description

The present invention relates to a pants-type wearing article such as a pants-type disposable diaper.

Conventionally, a pants-type disposable diaper has a longitudinal direction extending from the abdominal side part to the back side part via the crotch part and a transverse direction perpendicular thereto, and the absorbent main body and the non-skin facing of the absorbent main body A pair of side seals, wherein the left and right side edges of the exterior body in the front body and the left and right side edges of the exterior body in the back body are joined to each other. What is formed with a part, a waist opening, and a pair of leg openings is widely used. Such a pants-type disposable diaper can be removed by breaking the side seal portion and separating this portion. By doing so, for example, when a care recipient such as an infant or an elderly person defecates, the diaper is broken open without dragging the filth from the thigh to the tip of the foot. It can be removed from the crotch while lying on its back.

In addition, there is known a technique in which a breakage guide portion is provided separately from a side seal portion on an exterior body of a pant-type disposable diaper so that the exterior body can be broken at the breakage induction portion. For example, in Patent Document 1, a breakage induction portion extending in the vertical direction from the waist opening portion to the leg opening portion is provided between the absorbent main body and the side seal portion in the outer body of the front body (abdomen side portion). As specific examples of the breakage induction portion, a portion where a perforation is formed in the exterior body, a portion where a plurality of through holes penetrating the exterior body in the thickness direction are formed, and the exterior body by heating The part which made the structural member of fragile is described. Patent Document 2 describes a pants-type disposable diaper provided with a breakage induction portion made of a broken line-shaped weakened region. The broken-line weakened region described in Patent Document 2 is formed by applying pressure bonding processing or ultrasonic bonding processing (embossing processing) to the exterior body in a non-continuous (scattered) manner in the vertical direction. A plurality of processed portions continuously applied are hardened thin film portions and are intermittently arranged in the vertical direction.

In a pants-type disposable diaper having a breakage induction portion, the breakage induction portion is a perforation formed by intermittently cutting an exterior body into a perforation as described in Patent Document 1. There is a risk that excreted liquid such as urine may leak from the holes of the exterior body constituting the eyes, for example, when the eyes are pulled. In addition, as described in Patent Document 2, a breakage induction portion in which a cured thin film portion is intermittently arranged in a predetermined direction does not have a hole penetrating the exterior body in the thickness direction, so that there is a problem of leakage of excretory fluid. Although it is not, due to the effect of embossing when forming the thin film portion, the material for forming the outer package is unevenly distributed in the peripheral portions (between adjacent thin film portions) of each thin film portion, and the thickness of the peripheral portion is the thin film Since it is larger than the thickness of the part, it is difficult to break. In addition, the exterior body provided with the breakage induction portion is usually configured by laminating a plurality of layers, and the longitudinal direction (the direction crossing the fiber orientation direction of the exterior body) from the waist opening side to the leg opening side. In many cases, the number of laminated layers (the thickness of the outer package) changes, and the outer package having such a configuration is embossed in the vertical direction as described in Patent Document 2 to provide a break induction having excellent breakability. It is not easy to provide the portion (intermittent arrangement of the thin film portion).

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a pants-type wearing article that has a breakage guiding portion that is excellent in breakability and does not have a risk of liquid leakage, and that can be easily broken and released from a worn state.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the pants-type disposable diaper 1 of the present embodiment is disposed on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorbent main body 2 and the absorbent main body 2 to fix the absorbent main body 2. The exterior body 3 is provided. FIG. 2 is an unfolded plan view showing the unfolded and extended state of the diaper 1. This “unfolded and unfolded state” means that the diaper 1 is separated by the side seal portion S to be unfolded, and the unfolded diaper 1 is in the unfolded state. Is a state in which the elastic member of each part is extended to the design size (same as the size when flattened in a state where the influence of the elastic member is completely eliminated). In the present specification, the skin facing surface is a surface (side relatively close to the wearer's skin) directed to the skin side of the wearer in the wearing state in the diaper 1 and its constituent members (for example, the absorbent main body 2). Yes, the non-skin facing surface is the surface (the side relatively distant from the wearer's skin) that faces the opposite side of the skin side of the wearer in the wearing state in the diaper 1 and its constituent members.

The diaper 1 includes an abdominal side A disposed on the abdomen side of the wearer in a worn state, a back side C disposed on the back side, and a crotch part positioned between them and disposed on the crotch part of the wearer. B and a vertical direction X and a horizontal direction Y orthogonal thereto. The longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1 is a direction that extends between the abdominal side A and the back side C via the crotch B. The crotch part B is an area where the exterior body 3 is not disposed.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the absorbent main body 2 has a rectangular shape that is long in the same direction as the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1. The absorbent main body 2 is bonded to the central portion of the outer package 3 with an adhesive so that the longitudinal direction thereof coincides with the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1 in the expanded and extended state. The absorbent main body 2 includes a liquid-permeable surface sheet 21 that forms a skin-facing surface, a liquid-impermeable or liquid-permeable or water-repellent back sheet 22 that forms a non-skin-facing surface, and both sheets 21 and 22. A liquid-retaining absorbent 23 is interposed therebetween, and these members are integrated by a known joining means such as an adhesive. As the top sheet 21, the back sheet 22, and the absorber 23, various types conventionally used for this type of absorbent article can be used without particular limitation. For example, various nonwoven fabrics or apertured films can be used as the top sheet 21, and a resin film, a laminate of a resin film and a nonwoven fabric, or the like can be used as the back sheet 22. As the absorbent body 23, an aggregate of fiber materials such as pulp fibers or those having an absorbent core configured to contain water-absorbing polymer particles can be used, and the absorbent core is a liquid-permeable core. It may be covered with a wrap sheet.

In the vicinity of the free end of each side cuff 24, one or more thread-like side cuff elastic members 25 are arranged in an extended state. Each side cuff 24 stands up when the side cuff elastic member 25 arranged in the stretched state contracts in the wearing state of the diaper 1 and prevents the liquid from flowing out to the side.

The exterior body 3 is configured to include sheet materials 35 and 36 and a plurality of exterior body forming elastic members 33 fixed to the sheet materials 35 and 36. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the exterior body 3 in the present embodiment is divided into an abdominal sheet member 31 disposed on the abdomen side of the wearer when worn and a back sheet member 32 disposed on the back side. Has been. That is, the pants-type disposable diaper 1 of the present embodiment includes a ventral sheet member 31 (exterior body ventral region) arranged on the wearer's belly side and a dorsal sheet member 32 arranged on the wearer's dorsal side. (Exterior body rear side region) and a vertically long absorbent main body 2 that is fixed over both sheet members 31 and 32, and both side edges 3s and 3s along the longitudinal direction of both sheet members 31 and 32, respectively. A pair of side seal portions S, S, a waist opening WH, and a pair of leg openings LH, LH are formed by joining together. In the side seal portion S, the ventral sheet member 31 and the dorsal sheet member 32 are joined by a known joining means such as an adhesive, a heat seal, a high frequency seal, and an ultrasonic seal.

The abdominal sheet member 31 and the back sheet member 32 are respectively an outer layer sheet material 35 that forms a non-skin facing surface (the outer surface of the diaper 1), and an inner layer sheet material arranged on the inner surface side of the outer layer sheet material 35. 36 and a plurality of thread-like or belt-like elastic members 33 fixed between the sheet members 35 and 36 with an adhesive (not shown), and the development of the diaper 1 as shown in FIG. In the state, it has a long rectangular shape in the lateral direction Y. The two sheet members 35 and 36 are joined to each other at a predetermined portion by an adhesive (not shown). In the ventral seat member 31 and the dorsal seat member 32, as shown in FIG. 2, the plurality of elastic members 33 are arranged substantially linearly along the lateral direction Y and extend in the lateral direction Y. Thus, they are arranged at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction X.

The sheet materials 35 and 36 constituting the exterior body 3 include a resin material from the viewpoint of stably forming a continuous fusion portion 40 of the fracture inducing portion 4 described later, and are formed using the resin material as a main component. Specifically, for example, the resin material preferably includes a heat-fusible synthetic resin such as polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or polypropylene, and is preferably made of a nonwoven fabric, a film, a laminate sheet of a nonwoven fabric and a film, or the like. Examples of the nonwoven fabric include air-through nonwoven fabric, heat roll nonwoven fabric, spunlace nonwoven fabric, spunbond nonwoven fabric, and melt blown nonwoven fabric.

As shown in FIG. 3, the outer layer sheet material 35 has the same length in the lateral direction Y as that of the inner layer sheet material 36, but the length in the longitudinal direction X is longer than that of the inner layer sheet material 36. The outer layer sheet material 35 has an outer end 36a in the longitudinal direction X of the inner layer sheet material 36 when the both sheet materials 35 and 36 are laminated so that the inner ends 35b and 36b in the longitudinal direction X coincide with each other. It has the extension part 35E extended to the outward of the vertical direction X from. The extending portions 35E of the outer layer sheet material 35 of the abdominal sheet member 31 and the back sheet member 32 are folded back to the inner layer sheet material 36 side as shown in FIG. 35 (35E) and 36, the edge part 2a of the vertical direction X of the absorptive main body 2 is distribute | arranged. The sheet materials 35 (35E) and 36 facing each other are joined to each other at a predetermined portion by an adhesive (not shown).

The elastic member 33 is extended between the outer layer sheet material 35 and the inner layer sheet material 36 at the waist part D in each of the ventral side part A (belt side sheet member 31) and the back side part C (back side sheet member 32). The waist gathers are formed by being fixed by. The elastic member 33 of the waist part D of the ventral part A and the elastic member 33 of the waist part D of the dorsal part C have the full length in the lateral direction Y of the ventral part A or the dorsal part C, as shown in FIG. It stretches continuously over the entire length, and the stretchability inherent in the whole can be expressed. The waist part D is a part located around the waist of the wearer, and is usually 1 to 15% of the total length in the longitudinal direction X of the diaper 1 from each of the longitudinal end parts 1a, 1a (waist end parts) of the diaper 1. It is an area up to the length of.

Further, an elastic member 33 is provided between the outer layer sheet material 35 and the inner layer sheet material 36 in the waistline portion E in each of the ventral side part A (belt side sheet member 31) and the back side part C (back side sheet member 32). By being fixed in the extended state, a waistline gather is formed. As shown in FIG. 2, the waistline E of the abdominal side A has the diaper 1 in an unfolded state in which the elastic members of the respective parts are extended to expand in a flat shape, the abdominal side A is the upper side, and the back side C is When considered as the lower side, this is an area located below the waist part D and above the crotch part B. The waistline portion E of the back side portion C is a region that is substantially in the same position as the waistline portion E of the ventral side portion A when the diaper 1 is turned upside down from that shown in FIG.

In this embodiment, the elastic member 33 of the waist part E of each of the abdominal part A (abdomen side sheet member 31) and the back side part C (back side sheet member 32) is an absorbent main body as shown in FIG. 2 (absorbent core 5) is overlapped with a non-stretchable portion 34 in which the stretchability of the elastic member 33 is suppressed, whereby the stretchability is partially suppressed. In the elastic member 33 of the waist part E of each of the abdominal part A and the back part C, the non-stretchable part 34 does not stretch, but other parts other than the non-stretchable part 34 (outside in the lateral direction Y of the absorbent main body 2) The part located in the direction expands and contracts. Therefore, in the waistline E of each of the abdominal side A and the backside C, a pair of waistline gathers is formed on the left and right sides along the vertical direction X, excluding the arrangement region of the absorbent main body 2. As described above, since the elastic member 33 has the non-stretchable portion 34 in the portion overlapping the absorbent main body 2, the end of the absorbent main body 2 in the vertical direction X without causing vertical wrinkles in the absorbent main body 2. It is possible to follow the wearer's body, thereby effectively preventing leakage and causing inconveniences such as marks caused by the top of the heel generated in the absorbent main body 2 hitting the skin. Effectively prevented. As a method for forming the non-stretchable portion 34, a method usually used in this type of disposable diaper can be used without any particular limitation. For example, a method of finely dividing the elastic member 33 so as not to expand or contract, or bonding For example, a method of preventing the elastic member 33 from expanding and contracting by bonding using an agent or the like.

As shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2, between the absorptive main body 2 and the side seal part S in the exterior body 3, the fracture | rupture induction | guidance | derivation part 4 extended in the vertical direction X over the leg opening part LH from the waist opening part WH. Is provided. In the diaper 1, a total of two breakage induction portions 4 (continuous fusion portions 40) are provided on both outer sides in the lateral direction Y of the absorbent main body 2 in the exterior body 3 of the ventral side portion A, and absorbency It is located in the vicinity of the main body 2 (a position that is preferably within 20 mm, more preferably within 10 mm and at least 5 mm away from the absorbent main body 2).

The diaper 1 can break the exterior body 3 at the side seal portion S in the same manner as a normal pants-type disposable diaper, and can be removed by breaking the side seal portion S in a worn state and separating this portion. However, by having the breakage guiding portion 4 separately from the side seal portion S, the diaper 1 can be easily broken and the work of removing the worn diaper 1 from the wearer can be performed more easily. become. In FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the breakage induction part 4 is clearly shown in a straight line from the viewpoint of easy explanation, but the breakage induction part 4 is basically inconspicuous, and the diaper is actually visually observed from the outside. When observed, the fracture guide 4 is not always clearly visible as shown.

As one of the main features of the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the breakage guiding portion 4 is arranged in the lateral direction of the exterior body 3 positioned on both sides in the lateral direction Y of the breakage guiding portion 4. The edge portions 37 of the one side (outer side) 3X1 and the other side (inward side) 3X2 are fused together at a continuous fusion portion 40 extending continuously in the longitudinal direction X. A point is mentioned. In the present embodiment, the edge portions 37 and 37 of the lateral side one side 3X1 and the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 forming the fracture induction portion 4 cut the exterior body 3 at the position of the fracture induction portion 4. It is the cutting edge part which arose by. The continuous fusion part 40 is a fusion part between the lateral direction one side 3X1 and the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3, and is continuous in the vertical direction X over the entire length between the waist opening WH and the leg opening LH. doing. In this way, the breakage guiding portion 4 is configured by fusing the cut edges 37, 37 of the outer package 3 to each other at the continuous fused portion 40. Since it does not have a through-hole penetrating through, there is a feature that there is no fear of leakage of liquid.

In the present embodiment, the outer layer sheet material 35 and the inner layer sheet material 36 constituting the exterior body 3 are both non-woven fabrics, and the exterior body 3 is configured to include the non-woven fabrics. And as shown in FIG. 5, the continuous melt | fusion part 40 has the fusion | melting surface 41 which the edge parts of the length direction of the constituent fiber 38 of the sheet materials 35 and 36 (nonwoven fabric) fuse | melt with each other. The constituent fiber 38 has a portion extending in the direction intersecting the fusion surface 41 in the vicinity of the fusion surface 41 (continuous fusion portion 40). More specifically, the continuous fusion bonding part 40 is formed by overlapping the cutting edge 37 on the lateral side one side 3X1 and the cutting edge 37 on the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 in the shape of a palm. The top part of the shape part protrudes outward (in the direction away from the wearer's skin) of the diaper 1 from the peripheral part, and a fusion surface 41 exists on the top part. In this way, the fusion surface 41 is located at the top of the continuous fusion part 40 and is exposed to the outside of the diaper 1, and forms the outer end face of the continuous fusion part 40. The fused surface 41 is pulled in the lateral direction Y and has a convex shape on the skin side.

The continuous fused portion 40 intersects the orientation direction (fiber orientation direction) of the constituent fibers 38 of the sheet materials 35 and 36. The orientation direction of the constituent fibers 38 is basically the same direction as the flow direction (machine direction) at the time of manufacturing the sheet materials 35 and 36, and is substantially the same direction as the lateral direction Y in this embodiment. In this embodiment, since the continuous fusion part 40 is a straight line extending in the longitudinal direction X, the continuous fusion part 40 is substantially orthogonal to the orientation direction of the constituent fibers 38.

In the fusion surface 41, as shown in FIG. 4, the lateral one side fusion surface 41X1 formed by fusing the lengthwise ends of the constituent fibers on the lateral one side 3X1 of the outer package 3 to each other. The lateral direction other side fusion surface 41X2 formed by fusing the lengthwise ends of the constituent fibers on the lateral direction other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 is adjacent to the lateral direction Y without a gap. Both fusion surfaces 41X1 and 41X2 are integrated to form a fusion surface 41.

As shown in FIG. 5, the length (width | variety) of the inner-outer direction P which goes to the side far from the wearer's skin of the diaper 1 in the cross section orthogonal to the extension direction (vertical direction X) in the continuous melt | fusion part 40. ) W is equal to or smaller than the smaller one of the thickness Ta on the lateral side one side 3X1 and the thickness Tb on the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 (hereinafter also referred to as “minimum exterior body thickness”). When the thickness Ta on the one side 3X1 in the lateral direction of the exterior body 3 and the thickness Tb on the other side 3X2 have the same value, the value is defined as “minimum thickness of the exterior body”. As shown in FIG. 5, the continuous fusion part 40 has a width W that gradually increases from the end in the direction Q perpendicular to the direction P toward the center in the cross section perpendicular to the extending direction (longitudinal direction X). It is formed in a so-called crescent or half-moon shape.

The thickness Ta on the lateral side one side 3X1 and the thickness Tb on the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 are both thicknesses at portions other than the continuous fusion bonded part 40, and preferably the lateral side one side 3X1 and the other side 3X2 About each, thickness is measured in the range whose separation distance Lt from the continuous melt | fusion part 40 in the horizontal direction Y is 5-20 mm. The thickness Ta and the thickness Tb are measured in a state in which a sample cut from each of the lateral side one side 3X1 and the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 is sandwiched between flat plates and a load of 0.5 cN / cm 2 is applied. The distance between the flat plates was measured, and the value was taken as the thickness. The sample is cut into a 10 mm × 10 mm square, and if the dimensions cannot be cut, cut them to the closest possible dimensions. On the other hand, the width W of the continuous fusion bonding part 40 was measured by observing a cross section under a state where no load was applied with a microscope (VHX-1000 manufactured by KEYENCE Corporation) at a magnification of 50 to 200 times. The thickness W and the width W of the thickness Tb continuous fusion part 40 are respectively measured at three different cross sections in the direction along the continuous fusion part 40 (longitudinal direction X), and the average value of the measured values. Were each value. The dimension of each part is preferably measured to a unit of 0.01 mm.

As described above, the width W (see FIG. 5) of the continuous fusion bonding portion 40 is set to the smaller one of the thickness Ta of the lateral side one side 3X1 and the thickness Tb of the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 constituting the continuous fusion part 40 (see FIG. 5). When the continuous fusion part 40 is formed, a predetermined pressure is applied to the continuous fusion part 40 so that the fusion is firmly performed. Moreover, since the continuous melt | fusion part 40 (seal | sticker part) is not melt | dissolved and hardened too much, it is soft and the touch is good. Here, “feel good” means that the wearer feels good.

The ratio [= (width W / minimum thickness of the exterior body) × 100] (%) of the width W of the continuous fusion part 40 to the minimum thickness of the exterior body is preferably from the viewpoint of the fusion strength of the continuous fusion part 40. Is 100% or less, more preferably 95% or less, and from the viewpoint of appearance and touch, preferably 30% or more, more preferably 50% or more. From the viewpoint of fusion strength, it is preferably 30 to 100%, more preferably 50 to 95%.

Further, the width W of the continuous fusion bonding portion 40 is such that the difference (Ta−W and Tb−W) between the thickness Ta on the one side 3X1 in the lateral direction and the thickness Tb on the other side 3X2 of the exterior body 3 is the continuous fusion bonding portion. From the viewpoint of the fusion strength of 40, preferably 0 mm or more, more preferably 0.02 mm or more, and from the viewpoint of touch, preferably 0.25 mm or less, more preferably 0.2 mm or less, From the viewpoint of the fusion strength and the touch of the continuous fusion part 40, it is preferably 0 to 0.25 mm, and more preferably 0.02 to 0.2 mm.

Further, the width W of the continuous fused part 40 is preferably smaller from the viewpoint of improving the flexibility and feel of the continuous fused part 40, for example, preferably 2.0 mm or less, more preferably less than 1.0 mm. More preferably less than 0.3 mm. On the other hand, it is preferable that it is 0.1 mm or more from the point of ensuring the sealing strength.

The diaper 1 mentioned above can be manufactured, for example with the manufacturing method demonstrated below. The principal part of the manufacturing process of the underpants type disposable diaper 1 is shown by FIG. The manufacturing method of the diaper 1 of the present embodiment includes a front body continuum 50 in which a plurality of front bodies (abdomen side sheet members 31) including the abdominal side A are continuously formed in one direction (lateral direction Y), and the back. A step (continuous body manufacturing step) for manufacturing the back body continuum 51 in which a plurality of back bodies (back side seat members 32) including the side portion C are formed continuously in one direction (lateral direction Y) and a separate manufacturing A step (main body arranging step) of intermittently arranging and fixing the plurality of absorbent main bodies 2 in the conveying direction MD so as to be bridged over both continuous bodies 50 and 51 conveyed in parallel to each other in one direction MD. . In addition, on the basis of a virtual straight line (not shown) that bisects the diaper 1 in the vertical direction X, the abdominal side A side is the front body of the diaper 1, and the back side C side is the back body of the diaper 1.

As shown in FIG. 6, the front body continuum 50 and the back body continuum 51 are respectively formed between the belt-shaped outer layer sheet material 35 and the belt-shaped inner layer sheet material 36 that is separate from the elastic member 33. Are manufactured in a stretched state stretched at a predetermined stretch rate, and these are sent between a pair of nip rolls (not shown) and pressed. Before the elastic member 33 is disposed between the sheet materials 35 and 36, a hot melt adhesive is applied continuously or intermittently by an adhesive coating machine (not shown). Further, before the sheet materials 35 and 36 are overlaid, a hot melt adhesive is applied to a predetermined portion of one or both opposing surfaces by an adhesive application machine (not shown). .

As one of the main characteristics of the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 of this embodiment, after manufacturing the continuous bodies 50 and 51 and before arranging and fixing the absorbent main body 2 to the continuous bodies 50 and 51, the front body continuous body 50 is provided. The point which forms the continuous melt | fusion part 40 (break induction | guidance | derivation part 4) is mentioned. The code | symbol 40P in FIG. 6 shows the location where the formation process of the continuous melt | fusion part 40 is implemented.

7 and 8 show a process for forming the continuous fusion bonding portion 40. FIG. The continuous fusion part 40 is formed using a continuous fusion part forming apparatus 60. As shown in FIG. 7, the continuous fusion part forming apparatus 60 includes an endless conveyance belt 62 that is rotated in the direction of arrow R <b> 1, and an inner surface of the belt 62 (a front body continuous body 50 that is a workpiece is placed An endless wrinkle restraining belt 63 which is arranged on the side opposite to the surface) and rotated in the direction of the arrow R2, and an inner surface of the belt 63 (a surface opposite to the surface facing the belt 62). A laser beam irradiation mechanism 61 is provided, and an endless wrinkle formation induction belt 64 that is arranged upstream of the belt 63 in the transport direction MD and is rotated in the direction of the arrow R3. The wrinkle restraining belt 63 and the wrinkle formation guiding belt 64 are close to each other with a predetermined gap 65 interposed therebetween. Each belt 62, 63, 64 is spanned across a plurality of drive rolls 61 and / or driven rolls. In particular, the belts 62 and 63 that can be irradiated with laser light are made of a metal material such as iron, aluminum, stainless steel, or copper, or a material having heat resistance such as ceramics.

The conveyor belt 62 on which the workpiece (the front body continuum 50) is placed is provided with a slit-shaped opening 62H that penetrates the workpiece belt in the thickness direction. A pusher 66 for pushing the workpiece on the belt 62 into the opening 62H is provided. The pusher 66 is disposed on the surface of the workpiece opposite to the contact surface with the conveyor belt 62 in correspondence with the gap 65 between the belt 63 and the belt 64. The pushing tool 66 is arranged so as to be movable in the vertical direction with respect to the workpiece inside and outside the opening 62H at a position corresponding to the gap 65 (above the gap 65) by a driving means (not shown).

As shown in FIG. 9, the transport belt 62 is provided with a plurality of openings 62 </ b> H intermittently over the entire length in the length direction, but in FIGS. 7 and 8, from the viewpoint of easy explanation, Only one opening 62H is shown. The opening 62 </ b> H has a rectangular shape in plan view as shown in FIG. 9, and the longitudinal direction thereof coincides with the width direction CD orthogonal to the transport direction MD, and extends over substantially the entire length of the belt 62 in the width direction CD. Since the longitudinal direction of the opening 62H coincides with the extending direction of the flange 45 described later, which is formed in the workpiece (the front body continuous body 50), the flange 45 formed in the continuous body 50 in the present embodiment is in the width direction. It will extend to the CD. The distal end portion of the pushing tool 66 that comes into contact with and presses the workpiece has a shape corresponding to the opening 62H having a rectangular shape in plan view, and can be moved inside and outside the opening 62H.

The heel restraining belt 63 is provided with a slit-like opening 63H that penetrates the heel restraining belt 63 in the thickness direction. The opening 63H is a portion through which the laser light emitted from the laser light irradiation mechanism 61 can pass. The belt 63 allows the laser light to pass through the opening 63H, but does not allow the laser light to pass through the portion other than the opening 63H. 7 and 8, only one opening 63H is shown from the viewpoint of easy explanation. However, in actuality, as in the case of the conveyor belt 62, the entire length in the length direction of the belt 63 is illustrated. A plurality of openings 63H are provided intermittently.

In the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 of this embodiment, the continuous melt | fusion part formation apparatus 60 is used and the continuous melt | fusion part 40 is formed as follows with respect to the front body continuum 50 which is a workpiece.

First, a part of one surface of the front body continuum 50 (exterior body) being transported is picked, and the collar 45 extends in a direction intersecting the transport direction MD (in the present embodiment, a width direction CD orthogonal to the transport direction MD). Is formed on one surface of the continuous body 50 (a wrinkle forming step). More specifically, as shown in FIG. 7A, an opening 62H is formed on the continuous body 50 placed on the transport belt 62 rotating in the arrow R1 direction and transported in the transport direction MD. The pusher 66 is moved (lowered) from the predetermined standby position toward the continuum 50 in accordance with the timing of passing below the pusher 66, and a part of the continuum 50 is opened at the tip of the pusher 66. Push into 62H. A portion of the continuous body 50 that is pushed into the opening 62 </ b> H is a flange 45. The eaves 45 are pushed into the gap 65 between the eaves restraining belt 63 and the eaves formation guide belt 64 by the pusher 66, and at this time, the top 45a of the eaves 45 comes into contact with the belt 64 rotating in the arrow R3 direction, The belt 64 is temporarily pulled in the direction opposite to the conveyance direction MD by the rotating belt 64. That is, the flange 45 pushed into the gap 65 has its base end 45b (in the vicinity of the opening 62H) conveyed in the conveying direction MD by the belt 62, while its top 45a is moved in the conveying direction MD by the belt 64. Is pulled in the opposite direction. This is the same as a part of one surface of the continuum 50 being picked by the belts 63 and 64 with the aid of the pusher 66. As a result, as shown in FIG. 7B, the flange 45 is bent toward the inner surface side of the belt 62 (on the side facing the belt 63) in the direction opposite to the conveying direction MD, and in this state, the belt 62 and the belt 63. Is sandwiched between. At this time, the flange 45 (the sheet materials 35 and 36 constituting the flange 45) is compressed from above and below by both belts 62 and 63 and is in a pressurized state.

As shown in FIGS. 7 (a) and 8 (a), the collar 45 that is in a pressurized state between the belts 62 and 63 is disposed so as to cover the opening 63H of the collar restraining belt 63. . In the present embodiment, the opening 62H of the belt 62 and the opening 63H of the belt 63 have a one-to-one correspondence, and one opening 62H and one opening 63H that are in such a correspondence relationship. The opening 62H is positioned downstream of the conveyance direction MD, and the opening 63H is positioned upstream of the conveyance direction MD. A distance T1 (see FIG. 8A) between the opening 62H and the opening 63H is a range in which the flange 45 pushed into the device 60 from the opening 62H can cover the entire area of the opening 63H in the vicinity thereof. Adjusted to

Next, the flange 45 of the front body continuum 50 (exterior body 3) that is in a pressurized state between the belts 62 and 63 is absorbed by the continuum 50 from the laser light irradiation mechanism 61 and the continuum 50. Is irradiated along the direction in which the flange 45 extends (in this embodiment, the width direction CD orthogonal to the transport direction MD) (laser light irradiation step). The laser light irradiated from the laser light irradiation mechanism 61 passes through the opening 63H provided in the wrinkle restraining belt 63 and is irradiated to the wrinkle 45 covering this. A symbol LP in FIG. 8A indicates an irradiation point of laser light. The laser beam irradiation point LP is set so as to move following the movement of the opening 63H in the conveyance direction MD, and a portion to be cut off of the ridge 45 located on the opening 63H is being conveyed. Laser light is irradiated continuously for a certain time. As a result, as shown in FIG. 8 (b), the flange 45 is divided into the top 45a side and the base end 45b side, and at the same time, relative to the top 45a side and the base end 45b side in the pressurized state. The continuous members 50 facing each other are fused to form a continuous fused portion 40 (see FIGS. 4 and 5).

FIG. 10 is a view for explaining a state in which the continuous fusion part 40 is formed at the same time when the ridge 45 is divided by the irradiation of the laser beam. FIG. 45C (part corresponding to the opening 63H of the wrinkle restraining belt 63) and its vicinity are schematically shown. As described above, the heel 45 is formed by pinching a part of one surface of the front body continuum 50 corresponding to the exterior body 3 (ventral side sheet member 31) of the ventral side part A, and the two facing each other. This is composed of a laminated structure of the exterior body 3. Since the two exterior bodies 3 constituting this laminated structure have two sheet materials 35 and 36, respectively, the collar 45 has four sheet materials (two each of the sheet material 35 and the sheet material 36). ) Are laminated. In addition, although the elastic member 33 may be interposed between the sheet materials 35 and 36 that overlap each other in the flange 45 (four-layer structure portion), in FIG. The illustration is omitted.

As shown in FIG. 10 (b), when the laser beam 30 is irradiated to the parting planned portion 45C of the four-layer structure of the scissors 45 through the opening 63H of the scissors restraining belt 63, the sheet existing in the parting planned part 45C. The forming materials (fibers and the like) of the materials 35 and 36 are vaporized and lost by the heat generated by the direct irradiation of the laser beam 30, and the forming material existing in the vicinity of the parting portion 45 </ b> C is indirectly heated by the laser beam 30. Melt. As a result, as shown in FIG. 10 (c), the four-layer structure parting portion 45C is melted and the top part 45a is cut off from the continuous body 50, so that the flange 45 is on the top part 45a side and the base end part 45b side. At the same time, the cutting edges of the four sheet materials 35 and 36 at the base end portion 45b and the cutting edges of the four sheet materials 35 and 36 at the separated top portion 45a are separated. , Each is fused. These cut edges are in a pressurized state by being sandwiched between the belts 62 and 63 from before the formation (before the division of the ridge 45 by the irradiation of the laser beam 30). The cutting edges of the sheets 35 and 36 are heated and melted during irradiation of the laser beam 30 and immediately after the irradiation, but are easily cooled by contact with the belts 62 and 63, so that the outside air and the belt 62 , 63 is quickly cooled and solidified by heat transfer to the continuous edge portion 40, in which the forming material (fibers, etc.) of the cut edge portion is fused and integrated. Thus, in the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 of this embodiment, the continuous melt | fusion part 40 (breaking induction | guidance | derivation part 4) is formed by the melt | fusion method by irradiation of a laser beam, and is not formed by the other melt | fusion methods. . In addition, the top part 45a of the ridge 45 separated from the continuous body 50 is an unused part and is usually discarded.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 6, the front body continuum 50 (exterior body 3) includes sheet materials 35 and 36, and a plurality of stretched elastic members 33 fixed to the sheet materials 35 and 36 with an adhesive. In the process of forming the continuous fused portion 40 by irradiating the collar 45 with laser light, the elastic member is formed in the same manner as the collar 45 that is a part of the continuous body 50. When the portion where the sheet 33 and the sheet material 35 or 36 are not bonded is irradiated with laser light and the portion is cut, the stretched state of the elastic member 33 is changed or the elastic member 33 is detached. This is not preferable. Therefore, from the viewpoint of preventing such inconvenience, in the process of forming the continuous fused portion 40, the portion of the collar 45 where the elastic member 33 is fixed to the sheet material 35 or 36 with an adhesive is irradiated with laser light. It is preferable to do.

Moreover, like this embodiment, only one (continuous body 50) of the front body continuum 50 (the exterior body 3 of the abdominal part A) and the rear body continuum 51 (the exterior body 3 of the back side C). When the continuous fused portion 40 is formed by irradiating the laser beam on the diaper 1, which is a finished product, with respect to the contraction force of the elastic member 33 at the waist portion D and the waistline portion E, the ventral side portion A and the back side portion C There is a risk that the balance will deteriorate. Therefore, from the viewpoint of preventing such inconvenience, either one of the exterior body 3 (abdomen side sheet member 31) of the abdominal side A and the exterior body 3 (back side sheet member 32) of the back side C (this book) In the embodiment, when the continuous fusion part 40 (breaking induction part 4) is provided only in the exterior body 3) of the ventral side A, the other (in this embodiment) where the continuous fusion part 40 is not provided. It is preferable that the contraction force in the lateral direction Y of the exterior body 3) of the back side portion C is larger than that of the one. The shrinkage force of the exterior body 3 can be adjusted by the type, thickness, etc. of the elastic member 33.

As described above, the front body continuum 50 is indicated by the reference numeral 40P in FIG. 6 (after the manufacturing process of the continuums 50 and 51 and before the arrangement and fixing of the absorbent main body 2 to the continuums 50 and 51). A plurality of elastic members of the front body continuum 50 are formed by using elastic member precut means (not shown) at the same location indicated by reference numeral 40P after forming the continuous fusion bonding portion 40 (breaking induction portion 4). 33, the portion existing at the position where the absorbent main body 2 is to be arranged is divided into a plurality of pieces so that the contraction function of the elastic member 33 is not expressed, thereby forming a non-stretchable portion 34 (see FIG. 3) (elastic member) Pre-cut process). Similarly, the non-expandable portion 34 (see FIG. 3) is also formed in the back body continuum 51. In this elastic member pre-cutting step, portions (non-adhesive portions) of the elastic member 33 that are not joined to the sheet materials 35 and 36 are divided into a plurality of pieces. The method of dividing (cutting) the elastic member 33 for forming the non-stretchable portion 34 is not particularly limited, and for example, cutting by pressurization, fusing by ultrasonic waves, or the like can be used. In addition, you may implement an elastic member precut process before the formation process of the continuous melt | fusion part 40. FIG.

After forming the continuous fusion | bond part 40 in the front body continuous body 50 in the location shown by the code | symbol 40P in FIG. 6, and also performing the precut of the elastic member 33 of each of the front body continuous body 50 and the back body continuous body 51, A plurality of separately manufactured absorbent main bodies 2 are intermittently arranged and fixed in the transport direction MD so as to be bridged between the two continuous bodies 50 and 51 transported in parallel to each other in one direction MD. The absorptive main body 2 can be manufactured according to a conventional method. A hot melt adhesive is applied in advance to the absorbent main body 2 or the arrangement positions of the absorbent main body 2 in the continuums 50 and 51 (inner layer sheet material 36) before superimposing them. The continuums 50 and 51 are bonded and fixed via the adhesive.

After arranging and fixing the absorbent main body 2 on the continuous bodies 50 and 51, the diaper 1 can be manufactured according to a conventional method, although not shown. Specifically, the extended portions 35E (see FIG. 6) of the outer layer sheet material 35 from the inner layer sheet material 36 in each of the continuums 50 and 51 are folded back so as to cover both ends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 2. After fixing the longitudinal direction both ends of the absorptive main body 2, the absorptive main body 2 is folded in half in the longitudinal direction, and a diaper continuous body (not shown) is obtained. In the diaper continuous body, the precursor of the diaper 1 in which the side seal portion S is not formed is continuous in one direction (conveying direction MD).

The diaper continuous body thus obtained is subjected to a sealing process such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing at a site where the side seal portion S is to be formed (intermediate portion between the two absorbent main bodies 2 and 2 adjacent to the conveying direction MD). After forming the side seal portion S, the side seal portion S is cut by a cutting means such as a cutter and separated into individual diapers 1.

The side seal portion S can be formed by a fusion method using laser light irradiation as in the formation of the continuous fusion portion 40. That is, the diaper continuum is cut into a pressurized state, and the diaper continuum is divided by irradiating a portion of the diaper continuum where the side seal portion S is to be formed with a laser beam. At the same time, the side seal portion S can be formed by fusing the cut edges of the plurality of sheet materials 35 and 36 in a pressurized state generated by the division.

As described above, when the side seal portion S is formed by the fusion method using laser light irradiation, the breaking strength when the exterior body 3 is fractured by the fracture inducing portion 4 is determined by the side seal portion S. It can be the same as the breaking strength when it breaks. Here, “the same breaking strength” means a case where one breaking strength is in a range of 80 to 120% of the other breaking strength, and is not limited to a case where both are completely coincident. With regard to the magnitude relationship between the breaking strength between the breaking guide portion 4 (continuous fusion portion 40) and the side seal portion S, as a preferred mode, the breaking strength when the outer body 3 is broken by the breaking guide portion 4 is the side seal portion S. The form which is the same as the breaking strength when the exterior body 3 is broken or lower than that is mentioned. By establishing such a magnitude relationship, there is an effect that it becomes easy to control the breakage in each case when the breakage by the breakage guide portion 40 or the breakage by the side seal portion S is selected. The breaking strength of the breaking guide portion 4 (continuous fusion portion 40) is determined by the opening 63H of the wrinkle restraining belt 63 that defines the intensity of the laser beam used to form the breaking guiding portion 4 and the irradiation area of the laser beam on the exterior body 3. Can be adjusted by appropriately adjusting the opening width (length in the conveying direction MD) of the sheet. The breaking strength is measured as follows.

[Measurement method of breaking strength]
First, a measurement target part (breaking guide part 4, side seal part S) in a pants-type wearing article (diaper) is a rectangular shape of 100 mm in the article width direction (horizontal direction Y) × 30 mm in the article vertical direction (vertical direction X). Next, the sample is cut in a state where the breakage guide portion 4 or the side seal portion S of the outer package 3 is bonded to obtain a sample sheet. Next, the breaking strength of the obtained sample sheet was measured according to a conventional method using a Tensilon tensile tester (product name “RTA-100” manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd.) (distance between chucks: 20 mm, tensile speed: 300 mm / min). , This is taken as the breaking strength of the part to be measured (breaking guide part 4, side seal part S). In addition, a measured value is computed by the 5-point average which measured the sample sheet.

11 and 12 show another example of a pants-type disposable diaper that is an embodiment of the pants-type wearing article of the present invention. In other embodiments to be described later, constituent parts different from those of the above-described embodiment will be mainly described, and the same constituent parts are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof will be omitted. The description of the above embodiment is applied as appropriate to components that are not particularly described.

In the diaper 1 of the embodiment (see FIGS. 1 to 3), the exterior body 3 is divided into the abdominal sheet member 31 and the back sheet member 32, and the absorbent main body 2 is divided into both the sheet members 31 and 32. 11 and 12, the diaper 1A shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 is not divided into the abdominal part A and the dorsal part C, but the abdominal part A, the crotch part B, and the diaper 1A. An exterior body such as an hourglass shape extending over the back side C is formed. The outer package 3 forms the outer shape of the unfolded diaper 1A as shown in FIG. 2, and the periphery of the outer package 3 forms the outline of the unfolded diaper 1A. The crotch part B in the diaper 1 </ b> A is a region in which concave openings for forming leg openings LH and LH are formed on both side edges (leg edges) along the longitudinal direction X of the exterior body 3. One or more leg elastic members 39 for forming leg gathers are arranged in an extended state on both side edge portions 10 and 10 along the longitudinal direction X of the exterior body 3 in the crotch portion B. The leg elastic member 39 is fixed between the sheet materials 35 and 36 by an adhesive. As a result, annular leg gathers that are substantially continuous over the entire circumference are formed at the opening edges of the pair of leg openings LH and LH (see FIG. 1). In the diaper 1A having such a configuration, the breakage guiding portion 4 (continuous fusion portion 40) has an absorptivity in the exterior body 3 at the portion (front body) of the abdominal side A and the crotch B near the abdominal side A. Two in total are provided on both outer sides in the lateral direction Y of the main body 2, and are located in the vicinity of the absorbent main body 2.

The diaper 1A mentioned above can be manufactured, for example with the manufacturing method demonstrated below. The principal part of the manufacturing process of the pants-type disposable diaper 1A is shown in FIG. The manufacturing method of the diaper 1 </ b> A of the present embodiment includes a process of manufacturing the exterior body continuum 53 (exterior body continuum manufacturing process) and a plurality of separately manufactured absorbent main bodies 2 as the exterior body continuum 53 being conveyed. A step of intermittently arranging and fixing in the conveying direction MD (main body arranging step), and a step of providing the leg opening LH in the exterior body continuous body 53 (leg opening forming step). The exterior body continuous body 53 is formed by a plurality of exterior bodies 3 including the abdominal part A, the crotch part B, and the back side part C that are connected in one direction (lateral direction Y). In addition, implementation of a leg opening part formation process should just be after implementation of an exterior body continuum manufacturing process, may be before implementation of a main body arrangement | positioning process, or may be implemented before implementation of a main body arrangement process. It may be before or after the process of forming the fused part 40.

In the manufacturing method of the diaper 1A of the present embodiment, both side edges 53S along the conveyance direction MD of the continuous body 53 in the exterior body continuous body 53 after the exterior body continuous body manufacturing process and before the main body arranging step. , 53S to the leg opening portion LH or the leg opening portion formation scheduled portion LH ′, the above-described wrinkle forming step and laser light irradiation step are performed to form the continuous fused portion 40. . In FIG. 13, reference numeral 40 </ b> P indicates a place where the formation process of the continuous fusion bonding part 40 is performed. More specifically, in the manufacturing method of the diaper 1A of the present embodiment, the exterior body continuum manufacturing process, the process of forming the continuous fused part 40 (the ridge forming process and the laser light irradiation process), the leg opening forming process, the main body In the process of forming the continuous fusion part 40, the leg opening is scheduled to be formed from one of the side edges 53S and 53S along the transport direction MD of the continuous body 53 in the continuous fusion part 40 forming process. A continuous fused portion 40 (breakage induction portion 4) is formed in a portion extending over the portion LH ′. In the diaper 1A, the continuous fusion part 40 is provided in a portion (front body) of the abdominal side A and the crotch B near the abdomen A, so that the continuous body 53 has a portion corresponding to the front body. The continuous fused part 40 is formed. Formation of the continuous fused part 40 in the manufacturing method of the diaper 1A can be carried out according to the method using the continuous fused part forming apparatus 60 in the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 described above.

FIG. 14 shows an example of an exterior body applicable to the present invention (diapers 1, 1A). An exterior body 3A shown in FIG. 14 is a composite elastic member having the following configurations 1 to 3. As such a composite stretchable member, for example, a composite stretchable member described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-118986 according to the previous application of the present applicant can be applied.

Configuration 1: The outer layer sheet material 35 and the inner layer sheet material 36 are joined to each other by a plurality of intermittent joint portions 55 in the expansion / contraction direction (lateral direction Y) of the exterior body 3A and the direction orthogonal to the direction (vertical direction X). Yes.
Configuration 2: Each of the plurality of elastic members 33 is arranged so as not to pass through the joint portion 55, and in a portion excluding both end portions in the length direction of the elastic member 33 (such as the vicinity of the side seal portion S). It is not fixed to the outer layer sheet material 35 and the inner layer sheet material 36.
Configuration 3: Each of the outer layer sheet material 35 and the inner layer sheet material 36 forms a plurality of ridges 56 that continuously extend over the plurality of elastic members 33 in the natural state of the exterior body 3A.

As described above, the elastic member 33 is also bonded in the step of forming the continuous fusion bonding portion 40 on the outer package 3A (the step of forming a ridge and irradiating the ridge with laser light to divide and fuse it). It is preferable to irradiate the laser beam to the portion fixed to the sheet material 35 or 36 by the agent. However, in the exterior body 3A, basically, the elastic member 33 is joined to the sheet materials 35 and 36 by an adhesive only in a very small part such as in the vicinity of the side seal portion S. There are few application parts of the adhesive which joins 35 or 36 compared with the usual exterior body like the exterior body 3. FIG. Therefore, when the exterior body 3A is used, an adhesive is intermittently applied in advance to a predetermined portion of at least one of the sheet materials 35 and 36 constituting the exterior body 3A in the manufacturing process of the exterior body 3A. In the step of bonding the elastic member 33 to the sheet materials 35 and 36 at the adhesive application part and forming the continuous fusion part 40, it is preferable to irradiate the adhesive application part with laser light.

As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention was described, this invention is not restrict | limited to the said embodiment, It can change suitably. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the elastic member 33 of the waistline E of the abdominal side A (abdomen side sheet member 31) is suppressed from exhibiting stretchability of the elastic member 33 at a portion overlapping the absorbent main body 2. The non-stretchable portion 34 is provided, but, similarly to the elastic member 33 of the waist portion E of the back side portion C (backside seat member 32), the non-stretchable portion 34 is not provided and It may extend continuously over the entire length in the lateral direction Y and be able to express the inherent stretchability over the entire length. Moreover, although the said embodiment is an example which applied this invention to the underpants type disposable diaper, this invention is applicable similarly to other wearing articles, for example, a shorts type sanitary napkin.
