Abstract
Description
本特許出願の目的において、以下の用語は、以下に定める定義を有する。
Claims (15)
- 水性のパルプスラリーの変数をモニタリングする方法であって、前記水性のパルプスラリーは混入物を含んでおり、前記方法は、
前記水性のパルプスラリーの流れを提供する工程;
前記水性のパルプスラリー内に光を照射する工程;
前記水性のパルプスラリーに疎水性色素を添加する工程であって、前記添加は、前記疎水性色素を前記混入物と相互作用させる条件において行い、前記疎水性色素と前記混入物との前記相互作用は、蛍光放射における変化を引き起こす、工程;
蛍光放射における変化の画像を撮る工程;
前記画像を変更して、前記疎水性色素と前記混入物の少なくとも一つの混入物との前記相互作用によって生じる前記蛍光放射における変化を分離する工程;及び、
変更した前記画像に基づいて前記水性のパルプスラリーの変数を測定する工程を含む、方法。 - 前記変数が、水性のパルプスラリー中の混入物の粒度分布である、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記変数が、水性のパルプスラリー中の混入物の濃度である、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記変数が、添加物の効果であって、前記添加物は水性のパルプスラリーに加えたものである、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記疎水性色素が、フェノキサゾン色素、カルボシアニン、ピリジニウムベタイン色素、ポリスルホン化ピレン、ローダミン、フルオレセイン、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される化学物質を含むソルバトクロミズム色素である、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記疎水性色素がナイルレッドである、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記疎水性色素が、水中に混和できる溶媒中に溶解した、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記水性のパルプスラリーの流れが、リパルピング段階、脱インキ段階、水ループ段階、ウェットエンドストック調製段階、製紙段階、及びちり紙製造段階から成る群から選択した処理段階に由来する、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記変更する工程が、画像の背景を修正することを含み、前記修正することは、疎水性色素と少なくとも一つの混入物との相互作用によって生じる蛍光放射における撮った変化を強化すること、及び疎水性色素と前記少なくとも一つの混入物以外のいずれかとの相互作用によって生じる蛍光放射における撮った変化を弱めることである、請求項1に記載した方法。
- 前記変更する工程が、画像をフィルタリングすることを更に含み、前記フィルタリングは、弱められた撮った蛍光放射の変化を除去し、強化された撮った蛍光放射の変化を測定工程に進ませることを可能にする、請求項8に記載した方法。
- 水性のパルプスラリーの変数をモニタリングする装置であって、前記水性のパルプスラリーは混入物、水性のパルプスラリーに加えた疎水性色素を含んでおり、前記装置は、
ミキサーを備える容器;
温度制御装置;
サンプルセル;
水性パルプスラリー循環装置;
光源;
撮像装置;及び、
処理装置;
を含んでおり、前記温度制御装置は前記水性のパルプスラリーの温度を使用可能な状態に制御し;
前記容器は、使用可能な状態で前記サンプルセル及び前記水性パルプスラリー循環装置に取り付けられており、前記水性のパルプスラリーは前記サンプルセルを通って循環し;
前記水性のパルプスラリーが前記サンプルセルを通過する際に、前記水性のパルプスラリー内に光を供給するよう、前記光源が使用可能な状態で配置されており;
前記撮像装置は、蛍光放射の変化の画像を撮るよう、使用可能な状態で配置されており;
前記処理装置は、蛍光放射の変化の撮影画像を受けて、前記撮影画像を処理し、変数を出力し;及び、
前記水性のパルプスラリーを使用可能な状態で前記容器内へとリサイクルするよう、前記サンプルセルを備える、装置。 - 前記変数が粒度分布である、請求項12に記載した装置。
- 前記変数が混入物の濃度である、請求項12に記載した装置。
- 前記変数が添加物の効果であって、前記添加物は前記水性のパルプスラリーに加えたものである、請求項12に記載した装置。
- 前記光源、前記撮像装置、及び前記処理装置が、3台未満の個別の装置のユニットである、請求項12に記載の装置。
