Abstract
【解決手段】
本発明は、排気通路と吸気通路との間を接続して排気ガスの一部を環流させるEGR通路と、該EGR通路上に配置された排気ガスと冷却液との間で熱交換するEGRクーラとを備え、シリンダブロック及びシリンダヘッドにウォータポンプからの冷却液を流すウォータジャケットがそれぞれ設けられたエンジンの冷却装置において、ウォータポンプ、シリンダヘッドのウォータジャケット及びEGRクーラを環状に接続して冷却液を循環させるヘッド側循環経路と、ウォータポンプとシリンダブロックのウォータジャケットとを環状に接続して冷却液を循環させるブロック側循環経路と、を備え、ウォータポンプからの冷却液を、エンジンの冷間時にヘッド側循環経路に流し、エンジンの温度が所定値まで上昇するとブロック側循環経路にも流すことを特徴とする。

排気通路と吸気通路との間を接続して排気ガスの一部を環流させるEGR通路と、該EGR通路上に配置された排気ガスと冷却液との間で熱交換するEGRクーラとを備え、シリンダブロック及びシリンダヘッドにウォータポンプからの冷却液を流すウォータジャケットがそれぞれ設けられたエンジンの冷却装置において、
前記ウォータポンプ、前記シリンダヘッドのウォータジャケット及び前記EGRクーラを環状に接続して冷却液を循環させるヘッド側循環経路と、
前記ウォータポンプと前記シリンダブロックのウォータジャケットとを環状に接続して冷却液を循環させるブロック側循環経路と、
を備え、
前記ウォータポンプからの冷却液を、前記エンジンの冷間時に前記ヘッド側循環経路に流し、前記エンジンの温度が所定値まで上昇すると前記ブロック側循環経路にも流す
ことを特徴とする。
前記排気通路の排気ガス流により回転して前記吸気通路の吸気を過給する過給機を備え、
前記ヘッド側循環経路は、
前記排気通路の前記過給機の上流側と吸気通路の前記過給機の下流側とを接続する第1EGR通路に配置された第1EGRクーラに冷却液を流通させる第1経路と、
前記排気通路の前記過給機の下流側と吸気通路の前記過給機の上流側とを接続する第2EGR通路に配置された第2EGRクーラに冷却液を流通させる第2経路とを備え、
前記ウォータポンプからの冷却液を、前記エンジンの冷間時の当初は前記第1経路に流し、前記エンジンの昇温につれて前記第2経路にも流す
ことを特徴とする。
前記第1経路は、前記第2経路より少量の冷却液を常時、循環させる経路に構成され、 前記第2経路と前記ブロック側循環経路は、前記エンジンの暖機状態に応じて各径路の開口面積を変化させる第1及び第2制御弁をそれぞれ備える
ことを特徴とする。
前記第2経路は、冷却液と熱交換する空調用ヒータコアをさらに接続する
ことを特徴とする。

Claims (4)
- 排気通路と吸気通路との間を接続して排気ガスの一部を環流させるEGR通路と、該EGR通路上に配置された排気ガスと冷却液との間で熱交換するEGRクーラとを備え、シリンダブロック及びシリンダヘッドにウォータポンプからの冷却液を流すウォータジャケットがそれぞれ設けられたエンジンの冷却装置において、
前記ウォータポンプ、前記シリンダヘッドのウォータジャケット及び前記EGRクーラを環状に接続して冷却液を循環させるヘッド側循環経路と、
前記ウォータポンプと前記シリンダブロックのウォータジャケットとを環状に接続して冷却液を循環させるブロック側循環経路と、
を備え、
前記ウォータポンプからの冷却液を、前記エンジンの冷間時に前記ヘッド側循環経路に流し、前記エンジンの温度が所定値まで上昇すると前記ブロック側循環経路にも流す
ことを特徴とするエンジンの冷却装置。 - 前記排気通路の排気ガス流により回転して前記吸気通路の吸気を過給する過給機を備え、
前記ヘッド側循環経路は、
前記排気通路の前記過給機の上流側と吸気通路の前記過給機の下流側とを接続する第1EGR通路に配置された第1EGRクーラに冷却液を流通させる第1経路と、
前記排気通路の前記過給機の下流側と吸気通路の前記過給機の上流側とを接続する第2EGR通路に配置された第2EGRクーラに冷却液を流通させる第2経路とを備え、
前記ウォータポンプからの冷却液を、前記エンジンの冷間時の当初は前記第1経路に流し、前記エンジンの昇温につれて前記第2経路にも流す
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの冷却装置。 - 前記第1経路は、前記第2経路より少量の冷却液を常時、循環させる経路に構成され、 前記第2経路と前記ブロック側循環経路は、前記エンジンの暖機状態に応じて各径路の開口面積を変化させる第1及び第2制御弁をそれぞれ備える
