Abstract

- 骨固定具であって、
開いた第1の端部(11)と、第2の端部(12)と、前記第1の端部(11)および前記第2の端部(12)の間の管状セクション(13)と、前記第1の端部から前記第2の端部まで延びる長手方向軸(L)と、前記管状セクション(13)の少なくとも一部において骨を係合させるための骨係合構造(16)とを有する固定具部材(1,1’)を備え、
前記固定具部材(1)は第1の材料でできており、
前記骨固定具はさらに、
第1の端部(21)と第2の端部(22)とを有し、前記固定具部材に挿入可能かつ接続可能なコア部材(2,2’)を備え、
前記コア部材(2)は、前記第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料でできている、骨固定具。 - 前記第1の材料は、前記第2の材料よりも大きな可撓性を示す材料である、請求項1に記載の骨固定具。
- 前記第1の材料は高分子材料である、請求項1または2に記載の骨固定具。
- 前記第2の材料は金属材料である、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記骨係合構造(16)は骨ねじ山である、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記固定具部材(1,1’)の前記第1の端部(11)および前記第2の端部(12)は、前記管状セクション(13)の開放端を形成し、前記固定具部材(1,1’)は前記第2の端部(12)において拡張可能である、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記固定具部材(1,1’)は、前記長手方向軸に実質的に平行に延び、前記第2の端部(12)に開いた少なくとも2つのスリット(15)を備える、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記固定具部材は、前記第2の端部(12)のまたは前記第2の端部(12)付近の内壁に、前記第2の端部(12)に向かって先細りになるテーパセクション(14a)を備える、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記固定具部材(1,1’)は、前記第1の端部(11)にまたは前記第1の端部(11)付近に、好ましくは前記第1の端部(11)の前面から前記管状セクション(13)の中に延びる少なくとも1つの凹部の形態の係合構造(17)を備える、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記コア部材(2,2’)は、好ましくは球状外面部(32)を有する頭部(3,3’)を前記第1の端部に備える、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記頭部(3,3’)は、前記固定具部材(1,1’)を係合させるための係合部(34)を備える、請求項10に記載の骨固定具。
- 前記コア部材(2,2’)は、前記第2の端部に向かって先細りになる先端部(24)を前記第2の端部(22)に備える、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
- 前記先端部(24)の最大外径は、前記第2の端部(12)における管状セクション(14)の内径よりも大きい、請求項12に記載の骨固定具。
- 前記コア部材(2)は、前記第1の端部(11)に向かう前記コア部材(2)の動きを防ぐように前記固定具部材(1)の当接部(12)と協働する当接部(24a)を備える、請求項1から13のいずれかに記載の骨固定具。
