Abstract
【解決手段】湾曲液晶表示パネルは、上部基板、下部基板、液晶層、及びヒーティングラインを含む。上部基板は、湾曲形状を有する。下部基板は、湾曲形状を有する。液晶層は、上部基板と下部基板との間に配置される。ヒーティングラインは、上部基板及び前記下部基板のうちのいずれか一つに形成される。これによって、湾曲液晶表示パネルに液晶層の温度上昇を誘導するヒーティングラインを形成することによって、液晶層の屈折率差を減少させてイエローウィッシュ(yellowish)のような表示不良を防いで表示特性を向上させることができる。

Description
図1は、本発明に係る湾曲液晶表示装置を説明するためのブロック図である。図1を参照すると、本発明に係る湾曲液晶表示装置は、タイミング制御部10、データ駆動部20、ゲート駆動部30、熱源供給部40、及び湾曲液晶表示パネル50を含む。

Claims (13)
- 湾曲形状を有する上部基板と、
湾曲形状を有する下部基板と、
前記上部基板と前記下部基板との間に配置された液晶層と、
前記上部基板及び前記下部基板のうちのいずれか一つに形成されたヒーティングラインと、を含む湾曲液晶表示パネル。 - 前記下部基板は、画素電極と、前記画素電極にデータ信号を提供するデータラインと、をさらに含み、
前記ヒーティングラインの抵抗値は、前記データラインの抵抗値より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。 - 前記ヒーティングラインは、前記データラインに平行となることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記下部基板は、画素電極と、前記画素電極に電気的に接続されたスイッチング素子と、前記スイッチング素子の入力端に接続されたデータラインと、前記スイッチング素子の制御端に接続されたゲートラインと、をさらに含み、
前記ヒーティングラインは、前記ゲートラインと平行となることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。 - 前記下部基板は、画素電極と、前記画素電極に電気的に接続されたスイッチング素子と、前記スイッチング素子の入力端に接続されたデータラインと、前記スイッチング素子の制御端に接続されたゲートラインと、をさらに含み、
前記ヒーティングラインは、前記データラインと平行となる垂直ヒーティングラインと、前記ゲートラインと平行となる水平ヒーティングラインと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。 - 前記湾曲液晶表示パネルを平面上から観察する時、前記ヒーティングラインは、前記画素電極の一部と重畳されていることを特徴とする請求項2から5のいずれかに記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記湾曲液晶表示パネルを平面上から観察する時、前記ヒーティングラインは、前記画素電極と重畳されていない領域に形成されることを特徴とする請求項2から5のいずれかに記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記ヒーティングラインは、前記下部基板に均一に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記ヒーティングラインは、前記下部基板に部分的に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記上部基板と前記下部基板とが結合されて湾曲される時、座屈(Buckling)現象が発生する領域に対応するように前記ヒーティングラインは形成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記上部基板は、ブラックマトリックス層を含み、
前記ヒーティングラインは、前記ブラックマトリックス層と重畳するように前記上部基板に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。 - 前記ヒーティングラインは、前記液晶層の温度上昇を誘導して前記液晶層の屈折率差を減少させることを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の湾曲液晶表示パネル。
- 前記ヒーティングラインは、前記液晶層に熱を提供して前記液晶層の温度上昇を誘導することを特徴とする請求項1から12のいずれかに記載の液晶表示パネル。
