Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、内部集電体、負極活物質層及び正極活物質層、前記負極活物質層と前記正極活物質層との間に介在された電解質層を備え、所定形状の水平断面を有し、長さ方向に延びた電極集合体を用意する段階;熱収縮性チューブの内面に外部集電体薄膜を形成し、熱収縮性保護被覆を用意する段階;及び前記熱収縮性保護被覆に前記電極集合体を挿入した後、収縮するように加熱して電極集合体の外面に熱収縮した保護被覆を密着させる段階を含むケーブル型二次電池の製造方法及びその製造方法によるケーブル型二次電池に関する。本発明の製造方法は、乾燥過程のような後処理工程を必要としないので、製造方法を単純化でき、連続的な工程も可能である。また、熱収縮性チューブの内部に外部集電体を付着することで、活物質層と外部集電体との密着性を高めて電池性能の低下を防止することができる。

Claims (19)
- 内部集電体、負極活物質層、正極活物質層、及び前記負極活物質層と前記正極活物質層との間に介在された電解質層を備え、所定形状の水平断面を有し、長さ方向に延びた電極集合体を用意する段階と、
熱収縮性チューブの内面に外部集電体薄膜を形成し、熱収縮性保護被覆を用意する段階と、
前記熱収縮性保護被覆に前記電極集合体を挿入した後、収縮するように加熱して前記電極集合体の外面に熱収縮した保護被覆を密着させる段階と、を含むケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記外部集電体薄膜がハーフパイプ状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記外部集電体薄膜がメッシュ状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記外部集電体薄膜が金属ペースト層であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属ペースト層が、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、銅または銀を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記内部集電体が、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素、もしくは銅;カーボン、ニッケル、チタンもしくは銀で表面処理されたステンレススチール;アルミニウム‐カドミウム合金;導電材で表面処理された非伝導性高分子;または伝導性高分子から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記外部集電体が、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素、もしくは銅;カーボン、ニッケル、チタンもしくは銀で表面処理されたステンレススチール;アルミニウム‐カドミウム合金;導電材で表面処理された非伝導性高分子;または伝導性高分子から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記導電材が、ポリアセチレン、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン、ポリ窒化硫黄、酸化インジウムスズ(ITO)、銅、銀、パラジウム、及びニッケルから選択された1種または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項6または請求項7に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記伝導性高分子が、ポリアセチレン、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン及びポリ窒化硫黄から選択された1種の化合物または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項6または請求項7に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記負極活物質層が、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、または炭素質材料;リチウム含有チタン複合酸化物(LTO);Si、Sn、Li、Zn、Mg、Cd、Ce、NiまたはFeである金属類(Me);前記金属類(Me)の合金類;前記金属類(Me)の酸化物(MeOx);及び前記金属類(Me)と炭素との複合体からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの活物質粒子、又は、これらのうち2種以上の混合物を含む活物質から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記正極活物質層が、LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiMn2O4、LiCoPO4、LiFePO4、LiNiMnCoO2、及びLiNi1-x-y-zCoxM1yM2zO2(M1及びM2は、互いに独立して、Al、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、V、Cr、Ti、W、Ta、Mg及びMoからなる群より選択されたいずれか1つであり、x、y及びzは、互いに独立して、酸化物組成元素の原子分率であって0≦x<0.5、0≦y<0.5、0≦z<0.5、x+y+z≦1である)からなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの活物質粒子またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含む活物質から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記電解質層が、ポリエチレンオキサイド(PEO)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、ポリメタクリル酸メチル(PMMA)、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN)もしくはポリ酢酸ビニル(PVAc)のゲル型高分子電解質;およびPEO、ポリプロピレンオキシド(PPO)、ポリエチレンイミン(PEI)、ポリエチレンスルフィド(PES)またはPVAcの固体電解質のうち選択された電解質から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記電解質層が、リチウム塩をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiB10Cl10、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiAlCl4、CH3SO3Li、CF3SO3Li、(CF3SO2)2NLi、クロロボランリチウム、低級脂肪族カルボン酸リチウム、及び4フェニルホウ酸リチウムのうち選択された1種または2種以上であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のケーブル型二次電池の製造方法。
- 内部集電体、負極活物質層、正極活物質層、および前記負極活物質層と前記正極活物質層との間に介在された電解質層を備え、所定形状の水平断面を有し、長さ方向に延びた電極集合体;及び前記電極集合体を囲んで密着し、その内面に外部集電体薄膜を有する熱収縮性保護被覆を備えるケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記外部集電体薄膜がハーフパイプ状であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記外部集電体薄膜がメッシュ状であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記外部集電体薄膜が金属ペースト層であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記金属ペースト層が、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、銅または銀を含むことを特徴とする請求項18に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
