成分(B)が配合されていない比較例3では、化粧塗膜の硬さが不十分であることからカール効果が著しく低下するとともに、汗や涙でにじみ目の周りが黒ずんでしまい、耐水性の面で満足いくものが得られなかった。成分(B)のかわりにTgの異なるアクリル酸アルキル・酢酸ビニル共重合体エマルジョンが配合されている比較例4〜7では、カール効果、耐水性、易水洗性、化粧塗膜の光沢感の全てを満たすものは得られなかった。
成分(C)が配合されていない比較例8では、化粧塗膜の硬さが不十分であることからカール効果が劣るとともに、時間の経過とともに汗や涙でにじみがみられ、耐水性の面で満足いくものが得られなかった。
