Abstract
【解決手段】水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体が、50℃未満のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂と、熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも2重量%のコロイド安定化剤の量の、前記エポキシ樹脂のTgより高い温度で前記エポキシ樹脂を分散させることができるコロイド安定化剤、好ましくはポリビニルアルコールと、前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも0.1重量%の量の界面架橋剤例えば、ポリアクリル酸との水性混合物を乾燥させることにより製造される。水と混合される場合にセメント材料によって、固化、硬化または架橋されうる。

Description
再分散可能なポリマー粉体はまず、熱硬化性で架橋されておらず硬化されていないエポキシ樹脂(このエポキシ樹脂は、分散物製造の際に部分的または界面硬化されうる)の水性分散物を製造することにより製造された。この水性分散物はa)50gのD.E.R.661エポキシ樹脂、b)27.0gのMOWIOL(モウイオール)4−88ポリビニルアルコール(PVOH)溶液(不揮発性物質含量、NV=27重量%)(これは、エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして約14.6重量%のPVOHである)、並びにc)タウリンの溶液(1MのNaOH溶液3mLに溶解された0.38gのタウリン)(これは、エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして約0.76重量%のタウリンである)を、コーレス攪拌ブレードを備えた300mlのPARR圧力反応器に入れることにより調製された。
再分散可能なポリマー粉体はまず、D.E.R.661エポキシ樹脂およびMOWIOL(モウイオール)4−88ポリビニルアルコールを使用して、熱硬化性で架橋されておらず硬化されていないエポキシ樹脂の水性分散物を製造することにより製造された。この水性分散物はa)50gのD.E.R.661エポキシ樹脂、およびb)18.0gのMOWIOL(モウイオール)4−88ポリビニルアルコール溶液(不揮発性物質含量、NV=27重量%)を、コーレス攪拌ブレードを備えた300mlのPARR圧力反応器に入れることにより調製された。
部分的なまたは完全なナトリウム塩形態のポリアクリル酸4重量%(固形分エポキシ樹脂に対して)が水に溶解され、そして噴霧乾燥前に室温で実施例2におけるように製造されたDER661/PVOH分散物100mLに添加された。噴霧乾燥は実施例2におけるようにTout=40℃で行われた。噴霧乾燥前のものである、当初分散物中の熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の粒子サイズ分布は約0.34μmの平均粒子サイズを有していた。噴霧乾燥およびRDPを水中に再分散させた後の再分散物の粒子サイズは96.1%の再分散性を示す。再分散性はもとの分散物における粒子サイズ上限(例えば、6μm)より小さい粒子の体積分率として定義される。この例においては、もとの熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂またはラテックス粒子サイズ分布に対して粒子の96.1%より多くが分散されたのであり、すなわち再分散性は96.1%であったが、この再分散性は再分散物中の2ミクロン未満のエポキシ粒子の体積パーセンテージとして定義される。
実施例1、実施例2または実施例3の再分散可能な粉体組成物を使用したセメントベースのモルタル組成物を製造するのに使用されうる成分およびその相対量(重量%または重量部、pbw)が以下の表3に示される。セメントベースのモルタル組成物は、表3に示された固体成分を乾燥ブレンドし、次いで水を添加することにより製造されうる。このセメントおよび再分散可能なポリマー粉体は150ml実験室ガラス器具中に入れられることができ、0.5分間にわたってスパチュラで混合されうる。次いで、水が添加されることができ、3分間にわたってスパチュラで攪拌されうる。混合中の温度は21℃でありうる。
Claims (10)
- 熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂と、コロイド安定化剤と、界面架橋剤との共乾燥混合物を含み、水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体(RDP)であって、
前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂が50℃未満のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有し、前記コロイド安定化剤が前記エポキシ樹脂のTgより高い温度で前記エポキシ樹脂を分散させることができ、前記コロイド安定化剤の量が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも2重量%であり、並びに前記界面架橋剤の量が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも0.1重量%である、水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体。 - 前記コロイド安定化剤が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも2重量%の量のポリビニルアルコールを含み、前記界面架橋剤が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の粒子上に表皮または膜を形成しており、並びに前記界面架橋剤の量が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして0.3重量%〜5重量%である、請求項1に記載の水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体。
- 前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂が20℃〜40℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有し、並びに前記ポリビニルアルコールの量が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして5重量%〜35重量%である、請求項2に記載の水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体。
- 熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の粒子全体にわたって分散したエポキシのための硬化剤を当該水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体が含まず、並びに最大で1つの反応性アミン基を有する水溶性多官能性低分子か、エポキシ基と反応性のもしくはエポキシ基に対して強い結合性を有する、少なくとも1つの荷電基もしくはイオン性基を有する水溶性多官能性ポリマーか、またはこれらの混合物を前記界面架橋剤が含む、請求項1に記載の水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体。
- 前記界面架橋剤が、グリシン、タウリン、ポリアクリル酸、ポリメタクリル酸、ポリビニルホスホン酸、ポリスチレンスルホン酸、ポリアクリルアミド、これらの水溶性コポリマー、およびこれらの塩からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1に記載の水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体。
- 50℃未満のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂と、コロイド安定化剤と、界面架橋剤との水性混合物を乾燥させて、前記エポキシ樹脂の粉体粒子全体にわたって前記エポキシ樹脂を硬化または固化させることなく水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体を得ることを含み、
前記コロイド安定化剤が前記エポキシ樹脂のTgより高い温度で前記エポキシ樹脂を分散させることができ、前記コロイド安定化剤の量が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも2重量%であり、並びに前記界面架橋剤の量が前記熱硬化性エポキシ樹脂の重量を基準にして少なくとも0.1重量%である、

- 乾燥混合配合物の重量を基準にして少なくとも0.1重量%の量の請求項1に記載の水に再分散可能なポリマー粉体と、セメント材料とを含む乾燥混合組成物。
