Claims (18)
- 通路が形成されるとともに回転軸に沿って筐体に回転可能に取り付けられた本体と、通路と分離して形成された筐体および本体の内部表面によって形成される少なくとも2つの凹部とを備えるバルブアセンブリと、
互いに筐体から延びて医療装置へと接続される第1および第2のポートと、
筐体へ接続されるとともに、検体容器に連結される開口を有するキャップとを備え、
バルブアセンブリは、通路および凹部を置換可能にポートと整列させるように操作可能である、医療流体サンプリングに使用される流量制御装置。 - バルブアセンブリはストップコック型のバルブを備える、請求項1に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- バルブアセンブリは少なくとも2つの流れ状態を提供する、請求項1に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- 筐体は、バルブアセンブリの少なくとも2つの流れ状態にそれぞれ対応するバルブ位置指示器を備える、請求項3に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- バルブアセンブリの第1の流れ状態には、第1および第2のポートと連通する通路が含まれる、請求項3に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- バルブアセンブリの第2の流れ状態は、第1のポートから、少なくとも2つの凹部のうちの1つの凹部を通ってキャップへと入り、少なくとも2つの凹部のうち対向する凹部および第2のポートを通る流れ方向を形成する、請求項5に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- バルブアセンブリは、通路および少なくとも2つの凹部が第1および第2のポートと連通しない第3の流れ状態を提供する、請求項6に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- バルブアセンブリは、通路および少なくとも2つの凹部がバルブアセンブリ内にてシールされる第4の流れ状態を提供する、請求項7に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- 第1のポートは雌型の接続品であり、第2のポートは雄型の接続品である、請求項1に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- 第1および第2のポートはルアー型接続品である、請求項1に記載の流体サンプリング装置。
- 第1のポートと、
第2のポートと、
4つの流れ位置を有し、通路および少なくとも2つの凹部を形成する本体および筐体を備えるバルブアセンブリと、
バルブアセンブリに接続されるキャップと、
着脱可能にキャップに接続される流体用検体容器とを備える、医療流体サンプリングに使用される流量制御装置。 - バルブアセンブリは内部通路を形成する本体を備え、バルブアセンブリの注入位置は第1のポートを第2のポートに連通させる、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 本体とバルブアセンブリの筐体との交差によって少なくとも2つの凹部が形成され、バルブアセンブリの吸引位置は、第1および第2のポートを凹部経由で流体サンプリング容器に連通させる、請求項11に記載の装置。
- キャップは、着脱可能に流体サンプリング容器と接続するためのねじ形の内部を形成する、請求項11に記載の装置。
- バルブアセンブリは、流れを表示する端部を有するハンドルを備える、請求項11に記載の装置。
- バルブアセンブリの4つの流れ位置に対応する位置指示器を備える、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 人工気道を患者へ挿入する工程と、
人工気道を流体サンプリング装置の第1のポートに接続する工程と、
第1のポートからバルブアセンブリの通路を通って第2のポートまでの流路を提供するように、流体サンプリング装置のバルブアセンブリの方向を決める工程と、
流体を流体サンプリング装置の中に注入して患者へ送る工程と、
バルブアセンブリの方向および流体サンプリング容器を通る通路の方向を再度決める工程と、
第2のポートに負圧を提供することにより患者から流体サンプルを吸引する工程とを有する、患者から流体サンプルを得る方法。 - 通路をシールしつつ内部の圧力を維持するように、バルブアセンブリの方向を再度決める工程を備える、請求項17に記載の方法。
