Abstract
【解決手段】車輪ハブ軸受部Cを備える車輪の駆動力を発生する駆動装置を、車輪内に有するインホイールモータ駆動装置21において、駆動装置の車輪ハブ軸受部を除く部分を密閉構造のケース22内に収納して、駆動装置内を外気と遮断し、必要に応じてケース22内の空気を不活性ガスと置換することにより、ケース22内の結露を防止する。

Description
この発明の一実施形態に係るインホイールモータ駆動装置を備えた電気自動車11は、図4に示すように、シャーシ12と、操舵輪としての前輪13と、駆動輪としての後輪14と、左右の後輪14それぞれに駆動力を伝達するインホイールモータ駆動装置21とを備える。後輪14は、図5に示すように、シャーシ12のホイールハウジング12aの内部に収容され、懸架装置(サスペンション)12bを介してシャーシ12の下部に固定されている。
モータ部Aは、例えば、ステータ23のコイルに交流電流を供給することによって生じる電磁力を受けて、永久磁石または磁性体によって構成されるロータ24が回転する。これにより、ロータ24に接続されたモータ側回転部材25が回転すると、曲線板26a、26bは入力軸25の回転軸心を中心として公転運動する。このとき、外ピン27が、曲線板26a、26bの曲線形状の波形と係合して、曲線板26a、26bをモータ側回転部材25の回転とは逆向きに自転運動させる。

Claims (9)
- 車輪ハブ軸受部を備える車輪の駆動力を発生する駆動装置を前記車輪内に有するインホイールモータ駆動装置において、前記駆動装置の車輪ハブ軸受部を除く部分を密閉構造のケース内に収納したことを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記ケース内の空気を不活性ガスによって置換されている請求項1記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記ケースがケース本体と蓋部材からなり、ケース本体と蓋部材との間にシール部材が配置されている請求項1又は2記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記シール部材が、ガスケット又は液状ガスケットの少なくとも一つからなる請求項3記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記駆動装置が、モータ側回転部材を回転駆動するモータ部と、前記モータ側回転部材の回転を減速して車輪側回転部材に伝達する減速部と、前記車輪側回転部材に固定連結される車輪ハブを有する車輪ハブ軸受部とを備える請求項1〜4記載のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記モータ部と減速部を覆うケースと、車輪ハブ軸受部との間にシール部材を配置した請求項5記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 車輪ハブ軸受部の内部を密閉構造とし、車輪ハブ軸受部の内部と、前記モータ部の内部、及び減速部の内部の潤滑油を共通にした請求項5記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記モータ部のケースに、ケースに対して密閉固定された端子台を設け、この端子台を介してステータからの電源ケーブルの先端をケース外部に配置した請求項1〜7記載のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記端子台をモータ部のケースの外面に設けた密閉構造の端子ボックス内に設け、この端子ボックス内の端子台に、インバータへの配線ケーブルを接続し、この配線ケーブルの芯線と被覆の間にコーティングを施してインバータ内に水分が浸入しないようにした請求項8に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
