Abstract
【課題】高効率の照明光源を提供する。
【解決手段】本発明に係る照明光源は、光を出力するためのLEDアセンブリと、前記LEDアセンブリに接続されたMR16型ヒートシンクであって、第1の直径を有し且つ比較的平坦な内側コア領域と第2の直径を有した外側コア領域とを含んだMR16型ヒートシンクとを具備している。前記LEDアセンブリは前記内側コア領域上に配置され、前記第1の直径は前記第2の直径の1/2未満である。

Description
Claims (19)
- 光を出力するためのLEDアセンブリと;
前記LEDアセンブリに接続されたMR16型ヒートシンクであって、第1の直径を有し且つ比較的平坦な内側コア領域と第2の直径を有した外側コア領域とを含んだMR16型ヒートシンクと;
を具備し、
前記LEDアセンブリは前記内側コア領域上に配置され、
前記第1の直径は前記第2の直径の1/2未満である
照明光源。
- 前記LEDアセンブリは基板上に配置された少なくとも30個のLEDを含んでいる請求項1に記載の照明光源。
- 前記基板は約6mm未満の幅を有したシリコンを備えている請求項2に記載の照明光源。
- 前記第1の直径は約16mm未満である請求項1に記載の照明光源。
- 前記基板は、熱伝導性接着剤を用いて前記内側コア領域に接続されたシリコンを備えた請求項2に記載の照明光源。
- 前記基板は約6mm未満の幅を有しており、平坦部分は約12mm未満の直径を有している請求項5に記載の照明光源。
- 前記外側コア領域は複数の放熱構造を含んでいる請求項1に記載の照明光源。
- 前記複数の放熱構造は、複数の幹部と複数の分岐部とを含み、前記幹部は前記内側コア領域に接続されており、前記分岐部は前記幹部に接続されている請求項7に記載の照明光源。
- 前記幹部の径方向の長さと前記複数の幹部の径方向の長さとの比は、約1:1、約2:3、及び、約1:2からなる群より選択される請求項8に記載の照明光源。
- 前記MR−16型ヒートシンクは、約167W/mKより高い熱伝導率を有したアルミニウム合金を含んでいる請求項1に記載の照明光源。
- LEDアセンブリを受け取ることと;
第1の直径を有し且つ比較的平坦な内側コア領域と第2の直径を有した外側コア領域とを含んだMR16型ヒートシンクであって、前記第1の直径は前記第2の直径の半分未満であるMR16型ヒートシンクを受け取ることと;
を具備し、
前記LEDアセンブリは前記内側コア領域に固定される
照明光源の組み立て方法。
- 前記LEDアセンブリは少なくとも30個のLEDを含んでいる請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記基板は約6mm未満の幅寸法を有したシリコンを含み、前記第1の直径は約16mm未満である請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記LEDアセンブリは熱伝導性接着剤を用いて前記内側コア領域に接続されている請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記LEDアセンブリはシリコン基板上に配置された複数のLEDを備えている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記基板は約6mm未満の幅寸法を有しており、平坦部分は約12mm未満の直径を有している請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記MR−16型ヒートシンクはモノリシックであり、前記外側コア領域は複数の放熱構造を備えている請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記放熱構造は複数の幹部と複数の分岐部と外部リムとを備え、前記複数の幹部は前記内側コア領域に接続され、前記複数の分岐部は前記複数の幹部及び前記外部リムに接続されている請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記幹部の径方向の長さと前記複数の幹部の径方向の長さとの比は、約1:1、約2:3、及び、約1:2からなる群より選択される請求項18に記載の方法。
