Claims (35)
- 流体試料を採取するためにシステムを患者に連結するように構成された患者連結部と、
流体試料を患者から検査部分に送り、検査後に一次流体経路指定部分からの流体試料の実質的な部分を患者に送り戻すように構成されるポンプ領域、流体試料の一部が一次流体経路指定部分の外に送られることを可能にするように構成される流体移送領域、および流体試料の少なくとも第一の特性を評価するように構成されるインライン検査領域を有する一次流体経路指定部分と、
一次流体経路指定部分のポンプ領域と相互作用するポンプと、
流体移送領域を介して一次流体経路指定部分の外に送られる流体試料の一部を受容するように構成され、更に、流体試料の第二の特性を評価するように構成されるオフライン検査部分を含む二次流体経路指定部分と、
流体試料を患者に送り戻した後に、システムを洗い流すためにシステムをフラッシュ流体に連結するように構成されたフラッシュ流体連結部とを含む、流体の特性を求めるためのポイントオブケア流体検査システム。 - 流体試料の第一の特性および第二の特性に関する情報を受信装置に通信するように構成された通信装置を更に含む、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 流体が血液を含む、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 流体試料の第一の特性が、流体試料の血糖レベルを含む、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 流体試料の第二の特性が、流体試料の凝固速度を含む、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 通信装置が受信装置と無線通信する、請求項2に記載の流体検査システム。
- 受信装置が注入ポンプを含む、請求項2に記載の流体検査システム。
- オフライン検査部分が、複数の検査にわたって連続的に用いられる複数の検査センサを有するセンサパックを含む、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- ポンプがぜん動性である、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 第一の特性と第二の特性とが同じである、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 第一の特性と第二の特性とが異なる、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 流体移送領域が、一次流体経路指定部分のポンプ領域とインライン検査領域との間に配置される、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- インライン検査領域が、一次流体経路指定部分の遠位端に位置し、ポンプ領域が、一次流体経路指定部分の近位端に位置する、請求項12に記載の流体検査システム。
- インライン検査領域の近位の一次流体経路指定部分の光検出域と光通信するように配置され、一次流体経路指定部分の光検出域を通過する光の強度を示す出力を生成するように構成された光センサを更に含む、請求項1に記載の流体検査システム。
- 患者の流体試料の少なくとも2つの特性を評価する方法であって、
流体コネクタを患者に取り付けるステップと、
流体の特性を求めるための流体検査システムを提供するステップとを含み、前記流体検査システムが、患者連結部と、ポンプ領域、流体移送領域、およびインライン検査領域を有する一次流体経路指定部分とを有し、更に、オフライン検査部分を含む二次流体経路指定部分、および通信装置を有し、前記評価する方法が更に、
流体コネクタを検査システムの患者連結部に連結するステップと、
流体試料を患者から検査装置の一次流体経路指定部分に引き込むために、検査システムのポンプ領域を用いて流体コネクタおよび患者連結部を介して流体試料を患者から採取するステップと、
流体試料の第一の特性を求めるために、一次流体経路指定部分のインライン検査領域における流体試料を分析するステップと、
流体試料の一部を、一次流体経路指定部分の流体移送部分を通じて二次流体経路指定部分のオフライン検査部分に移送するステップと、
オフライン検査部分で流体試料の第二の特性を求めるステップと、
流体試料を患者に送り戻すために検査システムのポンプ領域を用いて流体コネクタおよび患者連結部を介して、移送行為後に流体試料の残存部分を患者に戻すステップとを含む、方法。 - 流体試料の第一の特性および第二の特性を示すデータを、受信装置に無線送信するステップを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 流体試料の第一の特性および第二の特性の結果を、患者の電子医療記録に電子的に記録するステップを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 一次流体経路指定部分の流体移送領域および患者に連結された流体コネクタを洗い流すステップを含む、流体試料を除去するために流体検査システムをフラッシュ流体で洗い流すステップを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 流体コネクタが患者の動脈に取り付けられる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 求められた流体試料の第一の特性または流体試料の第二の特性に基づき、患者に与えられる少なくとも1つの薬剤投与量を変更するステップを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 流体コネクタが患者の静脈に取り付けられる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 一次流体経路指定部分のインライン検査領域を較正するために流体検査システムをフラッシュ流体で洗い流すステップを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- インライン検査領域における流体試料を分析するステップと、流体試料の一部を一次流体経路指定部分の流体移送部分を通じてオフライン検査部分に移送するステップとが、ほぼ同時に生じる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 流体試料がインライン検査領域で分析される間、流体フローが停止される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 光センサを用いてインライン検査部分内の流体試料の識別を確認するステップを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。

流体試料の第一の特性を求めるために、流体試料を分析するように構成されたアナライザを有するインライン検査領域とを含む、使い捨て一次流体経路指定部分。 - アナライザが、流体試料と相互作用するように構成された試薬である、請求項26に記載の使い捨て一次流体経路指定部分。
- アナライザが化学分析で用いられる、請求項26に記載の使い捨て一次流体経路指定部分。
