Abstract
を有し、式中Rは、C6〜C11アルキルを表す。その高沸点の溶媒は、「インク」が、印刷後長時間にわたって乾いていないままであることを可能にする。これにより、乾燥中のよりよいプロセス制御が提供され、より均一なフィルムおよびフィルム面に関するより大きい制御がもたらされる。低粘度の溶媒は、高い周波数での組成物の噴射を可能にする。

Description
1.アノード層を準備するステップ、
2.アノード層上に導体の正孔注入層を適宜準備するステップ、
3.アノード層(または存在する場合には、正孔注入層)上に半導体の正孔輸送層を適宜準備するステップ、
4.アノード層(または存在する場合には、導体の正孔注入層または半導体の正孔輸送層)上にルミネセント層を準備するステップ、
5.ルミネセント層上に電子輸送層を適宜準備するステップ、および
6.ルミネセント層(または存在する場合には、電子輸送層)上にカソードを準備するステップ、
を含む。導体の正孔注入層、半導体の正孔輸送層、およびルミネセント層の任意の1つ、2つまたはすべてが、本発明の第1の態様による組成物の堆積によって形成され得る。上記プロセスのステップ1〜6は、逆の順序で実施して、それ故底部にカソードを有するOLEDを提供してもよい。
半導体のポリマーを調製するための好ましい方法は、例えば、WO00/53656に記載されているスズキ重合、および、例えば、T.Yamamoto、「Electrically Conducting And Thermally Stable π−Conjugated Poly(arylene)s Prepared by Organometallic Processes」、Progress in Polymer Science、1993年、17、1153〜1205頁に記載されているヤマモト重合である。これらの重合技術は、両方とも、金属錯体触媒の金属原子がモノマーのアリール基と脱離基の間に挿入される「金属挿入」を介して機能する。ヤマモト重合の場合はニッケル錯体の触媒が使用され、スズキ重合の場合はパラジウム錯体の触媒が使用される。
Claims (21)
- インクジェット印刷、ロール印刷、またはスクリーン印刷等の印刷技術を用いて電子デバイスを製造するのに適した組成物であって、導体または半導体の有機材料および溶媒を含み、前記溶媒が250℃を超える沸点および5cPs未満の粘度を有する組成物。
- 0.1から20cPsの間の範囲の粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- Rが、C7〜C11アルキルを表す、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- Rが、C8〜C10アルキルを表す、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- Rが、直鎖状のC8〜C10アルキルを表す、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 導体または半導体の有機材料が、ポリマーを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 導体または半導体の有機材料が、半導体のルミネセント材料である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 半導体のルミネセント材料が、半導体のルミネセントポリマーである、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 導体または半導体の有機材料が、半導体の正孔輸送材料である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 半導体の正孔輸送材料が、トリアリールアミンの繰り返し単位を含む半導体の正孔輸送ポリマーである、請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 導体または半導体の有機材料が、導体の正孔注入材料である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 導体の正孔注入材料が、ポリスチレンスルホネート(PSS)をドープしたポリ(エチレンジオキシチオフェン)(PEDT)を含む、請求項12に記載の組成物。
- 単一の溶媒を含む、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 2つ以上の溶媒を含む溶媒のブレンドを含む、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 溶媒のブレンドが、250℃を超える沸点および5cPs未満の粘度を有する第1の溶媒と、前記第1の溶媒より低い沸点を有する第2の溶媒とを含む、請求項15に記載の組成物。
- 第2の溶媒が、4−メチルアニソール、メシチレン、ブチルベンゼンおよびオルト−キシレンからなる群から選択される、請求項16に記載の組成物。
- 溶媒のブレンドが、第1の溶媒と第2の溶媒の1:1のブレンドである、請求項15から17のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 溶媒が酸素を含有しない、請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 有機半導体デバイスを形成する方法であって、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を、インクジェット印刷、ロール印刷またはスクリーン印刷によって堆積させて層を形成するステップを含む方法。
- 請求項20に記載の方法によって作製された有機発光デバイス。
