Claims (25)
- 第1の電子装置を遠隔制御する方法であって、
前記第1の電子装置に関連する制御面の記述を取り出すステップと、
前記記述に基づいて、複数の制御要素を含む、画面上の前記制御面の少なくとも一部のグラフィック表現を描画するステップと、
前記第1の電子装置から離れたナビゲーション装置を使用して前記グラフィック表現をナビゲートするステップと、
前記ナビゲーション装置を使用して前記複数の制御要素のうちのある制御要素を選択するステップと、
前記選択した制御要素に基づいて前記第1の電子装置を動作させるステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記画面が前記ナビゲーション装置上に位置する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記画面がタッチ画面を備え、前記複数の制御要素のうちのある制御要素を選択するステップが、前記タッチ画面を適切な位置でタッチするステップを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記画面が前記ナビゲーション装置から離れている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記画面が、制御される側の前記電子装置上に位置する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ナビゲーション装置がタッチセンサ式パッドを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 少なくとも1つの第2の電子装置に関連する少なくとも1つの第2の制御面の記述を取り出すステップと、
前記第1及び第2の電子装置のうちの1又はそれ以上の電子装置を選択するステップと、
前記選択した電子装置に関連する前記制御面の少なくとも一部のグラフィック表現を、前記制御面の取り出した記述に基づいて前記画面上に描画するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記制御面の少なくとも一部のグラフィック表現を描画するステップが、前記制御面のウィンドウビューのグラフィック表現を描画するステップを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記制御面のウィンドウビュー内に示される前記ウィンドウのサイズ及び位置の少なくとも一方を制御するステップをさらに含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記制御面の少なくとも一部のグラフィック表現を描画するステップが、選択した動作モードに応じて選択された前記複数の制御要素の一部のグラフィック表現を描画するステップを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の電子装置及び少なくとも1つの第2の電子装置に関する動作モードを選択するステップをさらに含み、前記複数の制御要素が、前記第1の電子装置及び前記少なくとも1つの第2の電子装置の前記制御要素の一部を含み、該制御要素の一部が前記選択した動作モードに適する、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の制御要素のうちのある制御要素を選択するステップが、前記第1の電子装置及び前記少なくとも1つの第2の電子装置のうちの少なくとも一方の動作に影響する、
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記制御面がリモコンハンドセットを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記制御面が制御パネルを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の電子装置に関連する制御面の記述を取り出すステップが、
前記第1の電子装置の識別子を取得するステップと、
前記識別子に応じてインターネットを介して遠隔サーバにアクセスするステップと、
前記遠隔サーバから前記制御面の記述を取り出すステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - ディスプレイ画面と、
制御対象電子装置の制御面の画像の記述を記憶するためのメモリと、
前記制御面の少なくとも一部の画像を描画するように構成されたグラフィックプロセッサと、
ユーザが前記描画された画像とやりとりして、前記指定された電子装置の動作を制御できるようにすべく構成されたナビゲーションインターフェイスと、
前記ナビゲーション装置と前記制御対象装置との間の通信を可能にする無線インターフェイスと、
を備えることを特徴とする無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記ナビゲーションインターフェイスがタッチセンサ式パッドを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記無線インターフェイスが、前記制御面の画像の記述を前記制御対象装置から受信する、
ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記無線インターフェイスが、前記制御面の画像の記述をインターネットを介してサーバから受信する、
ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記制御面の画像が、遠隔画面上に表示された画像のウィンドウ部分に対応する、
ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - ユーザが、遠隔画面上に表示された物理的制御面の複数の制御要素のグラフィック表現とやりとりすることにより、1又はそれ以上の遠隔電子装置の動作の制御を可能にするように構成されたナビゲーションインターフェイスと、
前記ナビゲーション装置と前記遠隔電子装置との間の通信のための無線インターフェイスと、
を備え、
前記複数の制御要素が、前記物理的制御面上の制御要素全体の一部であり、該一部が、選択した動作モードに応じて自動的に選択される、
ことを特徴とする無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記ナビゲーションインターフェイスがタッチセンサ式パッドを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記物理的制御面がリモコンハンドセットを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - 前記物理的制御面が制御パネルを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。 - グラフィックで表現された制御要素の起動により複数のコマンドが送信され、少なくとも1つのコマンドが、前記遠隔電子装置の1又はそれ以上の各々へ送信され、前記コマンドが、前記選択した動作モードに応じて自動的に選択される、
ことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の無線ナビゲーション装置。
