Claims (26)
- 内腔(12)内の血管異常部を治療するためのステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)において、
近位端(32)及び遠位端(34)を含み、かつヒート・セット構成を有する可撓性の管状構造体(23、26)を含み、該管状構造体がヒート・セットされて、前記管状構造体の前記近位端と前記遠位端との間の部分が軸線方向の圧縮力に応答して前記管状構造体の前記近位端及び前記遠位端の径よりも大きい径に拡張するように構成されている、ステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。 - 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の部分が前記血管異常部の径まで拡張するように構成されている、請求項1に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の部分が前記血管異常部の径よりも小さい径に拡張するように構成されている、請求項1に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の部分は、前記管状構造体が前記軸線方向の圧縮力によって拡張される前に、前記管状構造体の前記近位端及び前記遠位端の径よりも大きい、請求項1に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が、拡張したヒート・セット構成を含み、前記管状構造体が、前記拡張したヒート・セット構成よりも小さい径に抑制されるように構成される、請求項1に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が網組ストランドの複数の層を含む、請求項1に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記複数の層がそれぞれ、重ねられる関係で同軸に配置された管状構造体(23、26)を含む、請求項6に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が複数の弾性金属合金の網組ストランドを含む、請求項6に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が血管異常部の上流及び下流で前記内腔(12)と係合するように構成され、前記管状構造体の前記近位端と前記遠位端との間の部分が前記軸線方向の圧縮力に応答して概ね前記血管異常部の径まで拡張するように構成される、請求項1に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記血管異常部が動脈瘤(14)である、請求項1から請求項9までのいずれか1項に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端及び前記遠位端(32、34)が前記動脈瘤(14)の上流及び下流で前記内腔(12)と係合するように構成され、前記管状構造体の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)の間の部分が前記動脈瘤の輪郭と少なくとも部分的に一致するように構成される、請求項10に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が約15フレンチ未満の径に抑制されて、カテーテル(38)内で送られるように構成される、請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか1項に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が約12フレンチ未満の径に抑制されて、カテーテル(38)内で送られるように構成される、請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか1項に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が約10フレンチ未満の径に抑制されて、カテーテル(38)内で送られるように構成される、請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか1項に記載のステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が約8フレンチ未満の径に抑制されて、カテーテル(38)内で送られるように構成される、請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか1項に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記部分が軸線方向の圧縮力に応答して前記動脈瘤(14)の上流及び下流の前記内腔(12)の径よりも大きい径に拡張するように構成される、請求項11に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)が第1の径を有する拡張したヒート・セット構成を含み、前記管状構造体が前記拡張したヒート・セット構成よりも小さい第2の径に抑制されるように構成される、請求項11に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記第1の径と前記第2の径との比が約3:1〜7:1である、請求項17に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の少なくとも一部が、抑制されない場合に比較的小さい第2の径から自己拡張するように構成される、請求項17に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の前記部分が球状である、請求項11に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の前記部分が前記動脈瘤(14)の輪郭と実質的に一致するように構成される、請求項11に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の部分が前記動脈瘤(14)の輪郭と少なくとも部分的に一致して、内皮化及び前記動脈瘤の少なくとも一部の補強を促進するように構成される、請求項11に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端(32)が張り出しており、前記管状構造体の前記遠位端(34)にテーパが付けられる、請求項22に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
- 前記管状構造体(23、26)の前記近位端と前記遠位端(32、34)との間の部分が前記動脈瘤(14)の輪郭と少なくとも部分的に一致し、そこを通る血流を塞ぐように構成される、請求項11に記載されたステント/ステントグラフト(10、50)。
