Abstract
Description
インターポーザ・アセンブリは、対向する平行な基板上の接点のフィールドの間に電気接続を確立する。従来のインターポーザ・アセンブリは、上下面との間を伸びる通路と、この通路内の接点とを備えた単一の絶縁板を有し、前記上下面に接点ノーズを有している。接点は、対をなす対向パッド間に電気接続を確立するために対向基板上のパッドと同一パターンで位置づけられている。インターポーザ・アセンブリは、接点を位置づけしてパッドに係合させるためにピンまたはカラーにより上下基板に取り付けてある。
Claims (26)
- 2つの相対向する基板上のパッド間に電気接続を形成するためのアセンブリであって、このアセンブリは、前記両基板間に位置づけられ積み重ねられた絶縁体の第1と第2の板、これら第1と第2の板の間の第1の横方向シフト・インタフェース、及び複数の回路通路を有し、各回路通路は、一方の基板のパッドに係合するための前記第1の板上の第1の接触面と、他方の基板のパッドに係合するための前記第2の板上の第2の接触面と、前記接触面を連結するとともに前記横方向シフト・インタフェースを横断して前記第1と第2の接触面を貫通する導体とを備え、前記第1と第2の板が前記両基板に取り付けられるとき前記アセンブリは、前記基板の非整列を調整して前記シフト・インタフェースにおける前記第1と第2の板の横方向シフトを可能にするアセンブリ。
- 前記第1と第2の板の間に位置づけられた第3の板を有し、前記回路通路は、前記第3の板を貫通する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 第2の横方向シフト・インタフェースを有する請求項2記載のアセンブリ。
- 各回路通路は、前記両接触面の間を伸張する単一の導体部材を有する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記回路通路は、複数の導体部材と、2つの隣接する導体部材間の圧力接触とを有する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記圧力接触は、前記横方向シフト・インタフェースのところに位置づけられている請求項5記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記パッド係合接点は、接点ノーズを有する請求項6記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記回路通路は、金属条片を有する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 各接触面は、単一の曲げ上げタブを有する請求項8記載のアセンブリ。
- 各タブは、条片の長手軸上に又はこの長手軸に隣接して位置づけられている請求項9記載のアセンブリ。
- 各接触面は、2つのせん断形成縁コーナの交差点に2重の湾曲チップを有している請求項10記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の板を貫通する第1の開口と、前記第2の板を貫通する第2の開口と、これらの開口内の整列部材とを有し、前記開口は、前記横方向シフト・インターフェイスにおいて前記第1と第2の板の横方向移動を可能にするために前記整列部材より大きい請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記整列部材は、ピンを有し、前記開口は、孔を有する請求項12記載のアセンブリ。
- 各孔から内方へ伸長するカラーを有し、前記ピンは、前記カラーを貫通する請求項13記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ピンを前記孔内に保持するために前記ピンから外方へ伸長する突起を有する請求項14記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ピンは、前記第1と第2の板内に位置づけられた端部を有する請求項15記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ピンは、前記第1と第2の板の外方に伸長する端部を有する請求項16記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記横方向シフト・インターフェイスは、滑動する横方向のシフト・インターフェイスを有する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記横方向シフト・インターフェイスは、開かれた横方向のシフト・インターフェイスを有する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記横方向シフト・インターフェイスを横断し前記両板を貫通するピンと、前記両板を分離する前記ピン上のスペーサとを有する請求項19記載のアセンブリ。
- 各板用の整列カラーを有し、前記カラーは、前記基板に取り付けられるようにした請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 各回路通路は、第1の端部を有し、この端部は、第1の2重湾曲チップで交差するせん断形成縁を備えた第1の曲げ上げタブを有する請求項1記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記チップは、前記回路通路の長手軸に、または、この長手軸に隣接して位置づけられている請求項22記載のアセンブリ。
- 各回路通路は、第2の端部を有し、この端部は、第2の2重湾曲チップで交差するせん断形成縁を有する第2の曲げ上げタブを有する請求項22記載のアセンブリ。
- 相対向する基板上のパッド間に電気接続を形成するための方法であって、
a)一方の基板上のパッドに隣接してインターポーザ・アセンブリの一方側に第1の接点を位置づけるために、そして、他方の基板上のパッドに隣接して前記インターポーザ・アセンブリの他方側に第2の接点を位置づけるために、前記対向する基板間で前記インターポーザ・アセンブリを位置づけるステップと、
b)前記一方の基板上のパッドと前記第1の接点を整列し、そして、前記他方の基板上のパッドと前記第2の接点を整列するために、前記インターポーザ・アセンブリの第1と第2の側の間に位置づけられた横方向シフト・インターフェイスのあたりで前記インターポーザ・アセンブリの前記第1と第2の側を横方向にシフトするステップと、
c)前記第1の接点と前記一方の基板上のパッドとの間に電気接続を形成し、そして、前記第2の接点と前記他方の基板上のパッドとの間に電気接続を形成するステップを有する前記方法。 - d)前記第1と第2の接点を第2の横方向シフト・インターフェイスに沿って横方向にシフトするステップを有する請求項25記載の前記方法。
