Abstract
Description
本発明の実施例による誘導電源装置,すなわち1次回路を図1に示し,全体として100と記す。1次回路100は,1次制御器110と,一対の駆動器112,114を含む駆動器回路111と,一対のスイッチ116,118を含むスイッチング回路115と,タンク回路120と,1次感知器122と,任意選択の無線受信器124と,を含む。1次制御器110と,駆動器回路111と,スイッチング回路115とは,一体となってタンク回路120に印加される選択された周波数及び選択されたデューティサイクルのAC信号を発生して,2次回路に無線で電力を転送するために誘導電磁界を生成する。本発明の実施例による2次回路を図2に示し,全体として200と記す。2次回路200は,2次コイル210と,整流器212と,スイッチ214と,負荷216と,電流感知器218又は電圧感知器220と,2次制御器222と,反射インピーダンスを用いて通信するための信号抵抗器224と,任意選択の無線送信器226と,を含んでもよい。
本発明は,広範な誘導電源装置に用いるのに適している。ここで「誘導電源装置」という用語は,無線で電力を供給することができる任意の誘導電源装置を広く包含するものとする。本発明はまた,「適応誘導電源装置」に用いるのにも適している。ここで「適応誘導電源装置」という用語は,複数の異なる周波数の無線で電力を供給することができる任意の誘導電源装置を広く包含するものとする。開示のために,本発明を図3A及び3Bに全体を300で示した特定の適応誘導電源装置に関連して説明する。図示した適応誘導電源装置300は単に例であり,本発明は本質的に任意の誘導電源装置によって実現してもよく,その誘導電源装置は変化するデューティサイクルで誘導電力を供給するように修正することができる。
本発明は,広範な遠隔デバイス,すなわち種々の設計及び構造の2次回路と共に用いることを目的とする。これら種々の遠隔デバイスは種々の周波数の電力を必要とし,種々の電力要求条件を有することが予期される。
1次回路100及び2次回路200の概略動作を図5を用いて説明する。
Claims (22)
- 遠隔デバイスへ無線で電力を供給する誘導電源装置であって,
ある動作周波数及びデューティサイクルの信号を発生する1次回路と,
前記1次回路と電気通信するタンク回路であって,前記遠隔デバイスへある量の電力を転送するために,前記1次回路が前記信号を印加するタンク回路と,
を備える誘導電源装置であって,
前記誘導電源装置は前記遠隔デバイスから帰還信号を受信し,
前記1次回路は,前記帰還信号に応答して前記誘導電源装置と前記遠隔デバイスとの間の電力転送効率を最適化するために,前記信号の前記動作周波数を制御し,
前記1次回路は,前記帰還信号に応答して前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力量を制御するために前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを制御する,
誘導電源装置。 - 前記1次回路は,前記信号の前記動作周波数を実質的に共振周波数に維持する請求項1に記載の誘導電源装置。
- 前記1次回路は,実質的に共振周波数を維持するために前記動作周波数を連続的に調整し,前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力量としきい値との比較によって前記デューティサイクルを連続的に調整する請求項1に記載の誘導電源装置。
- 前記1次回路は,少なくとも一つのバッテリ充電曲線及び前記遠隔デバイスの要求によって,前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを制御する請求項1に記載の誘導電源装置。
- 前記1次回路は,
1次制御器と,
前記1次制御器と電気通信する駆動器回路と,
前記駆動器回路と電気通信するスイッチング回路と,
前記遠隔デバイスの反射インピーダンスを感知する感知器であって,前記タンク回路及び前記1次制御器と電気通信する感知器と,
を含む請求項1に記載の誘導電源装置。 - 前記スイッチング回路は一対のスイッチを含み,
各スイッチは,前記デューティサイクル及び前記動作周波数でONに切り替えられ,互いに位相がずれており,
前記1次制御器は,前記帰還信号に応答して前記スイッチそれぞれの前記動作周波数を制御し,
前記1次制御器は,前記帰還信号に応答して前記スイッチそれぞれの前記デューティサイクルを制御する,
請求項5に記載の誘導電源装置。 - 前記1次制御器は,前記感知器からの入力によって,前記信号の前記動作周波数を制御する請求項5に記載の誘導電源装置。
- 前記1次回路は,前記遠隔デバイスから前記帰還信号を受信する無線受信器を含む請求項1に記載の誘導電源装置。
- ある動作周波数及びデューティサイクルの信号を発生する1次回路と,
前記1次回路と電気通信するタンク回路であって,前記遠隔デバイスへある量の電力を転送するために,前記1次回路が前記信号を印加するタンク回路と,
を備える誘導電源装置と,
前記誘導電源装置から電力を受電するための,前記誘導電源装置とは別の遠隔デバイスであって,
前記誘導電磁界によって励起される2次コイルと,
前記2次回路と電気通信する負荷と,
前記2次回路と電気通信する感知器と,
前記感知器と電気通信する2次制御器と,
前記誘導電源装置へ帰還信号を送信するための,前記2次制御器と電気通信する通信デバイスと,
を含む遠隔デバイスと,
を備えた誘導電力供給システムであって,
前記1次回路は,前記帰還信号に応答して前記誘導電源装置と前記遠隔デバイスとの間の電力転送効率を最適化するために,前記信号の前記動作周波数を制御し,
前記1次回路は,前記帰還信号に応答して前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力量を制御するために前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを制御する,
誘導電力供給システム。 - 前記1次回路は,前記信号の前記動作周波数を実質的に共振周波数に維持する請求項9に記載の誘導電力供給システム。
- 前記1次回路は,実質的に共振周波数を維持するために前記動作周波数を連続的に調整し,前記遠隔デバイスへ転送された前記電力量としきい値との比較によって前記デューティサイクルを連続的に調整する請求項9に記載の誘導電力供給システム。
- 前記1次回路は,バッテリ充電曲線及び前記遠隔デバイスによって前記誘導電源装置に伝送された要求のうち少なくとも一つによって,前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを制御する請求項9に記載の誘導電力供給システム。
- 前記1次回路は,
1次制御器と,
前記1次制御器と電気通信する駆動器回路と,
前記駆動器回路と電気通信するスイッチング回路と,

- 前記1次回路は無線受信器を含み,前記遠隔デバイスは無線送信器を含み,前記無線受信器は前記無線送信器から前記帰還信号を受信する請求項9に記載の誘導電力供給システム。
- 誘導電源装置から遠隔デバイスへ電力を転送する方法であって,
前記誘導電源装置において信号の初期動作周波数を設定するステップと,
前記誘導電源装置において前記信号の初期デューティサイクルを設定するステップと,
前記誘導電源装置から遠隔デバイスへある量の電力を転送するために,タンク回路に前記信号を印加するステップと,
前記誘導電源装置において前記遠隔デバイスから帰還信号を受信するステップと,
前記帰還信号に応答して,前記誘導電源装置と前記遠隔デバイスとの間の電力転送効率を最適化するために,前記信号の前記動作周波数を調整するステップと,
前記帰還信号に応答して,前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力量を制御するために,前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを調整するステップと,
を有する方法。 - 前記の前記デューティサイクルを調整するステップは,
前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力がしきい値を超えたと判定されたとき,前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを減少させるステップと,
前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力がしきい値未満であると判定されたとき,前記信号の前記デューティサイクルを増加させるステップと,
を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記の初期動作周波数を設定するステップ及び前記動作周波数を調整するステップのうち少なくとも一つが,
周波数範囲を掃引するステップと,
動作周波数ごとに,前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される電力量を決定するステップと,
前記遠隔デバイスへ転送される前記電力量が,前記周波数範囲内のほかの周波数と比べて相対的に多い動作周波数を選択するステップと,
を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記の初期動作周波数を設定するステップ及び前記動作周波数を調整するステップのうち少なくとも一つが,
周波数範囲を掃引するステップと,
共振周波数に最も近い前記動作周波数を選択するステップと,
を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記動作周波数を調整する前記ステップは,実質的に共振周波数を維持するために前記動作周波数を連続的に調整するステップを含み,
