本出願は、35 U.S.C.§119(e)の下に、2007年11月9日出願の「Flexible OFDM/OFDMA Frame Structure For Communication Systems」と題する米国特許仮出願第60/986,809号;2007年11月13日出願の「Flexible OFDM/OFDMA Frame Structure For Communication Systems」と題する米国特許仮出願第60/987,747号;2008年1月11日出願の「Flexible OFDM/OFDMA Frame Structure For Communication Systems」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/020,690号;2008年1月16日出願の「Flexible OFDM/OFDMA Frame Structure For Communication Systems」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/021,442号;2008年2月26日出願の「Flexible OFDM/OFDMA Frame Structure For Communication Systems」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/031,658号;および2008年3月19日出願の「OFDM/OFDMA Frame Structure For Communication Systems」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/038,030号の優先権の恩典を主張し、これらの全ては参照により本明細書に組み入れられる。
本発明は、概してデジタル通信に関し、より具体的には直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)または直交周波数分割多元接続(OFDMA)システムに関する。
音楽ファイルのダウンロード、テレビ、インターネット、およびフォトシェアリングなどの様々なサービスを提供するための、移動高速通信システムの需要が増えている。移動高速通信システムは、多くの困難な動作条件を克服する必要がある。システムが取り組む必要のあるこの多くの条件には、干渉、マルチパス信号、障害物の信号見通し環境への変更、ドップラー偏移、シンボル間干渉(ISI)、および送信機と受信機との間の距離の変更がある。直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)は、これらの条件の多くを軽減することができる高速通信として開発された一技術である。

Claims (95)
前記フレーム内の前記サブフレームを制御するためのフレーム同期信号およびフレーム制御信号を生成する工程
を含む、通信システムにおけるデータ通信のためのフレームを提供する方法。
