Description

前記入力部は、ズーム倍率の変更に伴う表示画像の表示方法として第１のモードと第２のモードのいずれか一方をユーザに設定させ、前記表示処理部は、前記第１のモードが設定されている場合、前記入力部により前記ズーム倍率変更の指示が入力されたとき、前記カーソルポインタが指す元画像座標空間における位置をズーム倍率変更後の表示画像の中心位置としてズーム倍率を変更した画像を前記画面に表示させ、前記第２のモードが設定されている場合、ズーム倍率の変更前後で元画像座標空間における表示画像の中心位置を固定したままズーム倍率を変更した画像を前記画面に表示させるものとしてもよい。
これにより、上記の２種類のモードを適宜切り換えてズーム倍率の変更を行うことができる。
本発明の一実施形態に係る情報処理装置を少なくとも含むコンピュータシステムの構成を示すブロック図である。 画像データのピラミッド構造を示す図である。 中心固定モードでの画像ピラミッド構造と表示画像のズーム倍率の変更との関係を示す図である。 中心可変モードでの画像ピラミッド構造と表示画像のズーム倍率の変更との関係を示す図である。 本実施形態に係る情報処理装置においてズーム倍率変更に伴って画像表示範囲を変更するための機能的な構成を示す図である。 中心固定モードによるズームインを説明する図である。 中心可変モードによるズームインを説明する図である。 中心可変モードによるズームイン時の表示画像の変化の様子を示す図である。 マウスドラッグによる画像の表示範囲の移動について説明する図である。
［ズーム倍率変更に伴って画像表示範囲を変更する２種類のモード］
本実施形態の情報処理装置（ＰＣ１００）においては、ズーム倍率の変更に伴って画像の表示範囲１を変更させる方式として次の２つのモードが用意されている。その１つは、図３及び図６に示すように、ズーム倍率の変更の前後で元画像（Ｎ層の画像データ）の座標空間における表示範囲１の中心位置が変わらない「中心固定モード」である。もう１つは、図４及び図７に示すように、ズーム倍率の変更の前後で元画像座標空間における表示範囲１の中心位置が変わる「中心可変モード」である。
同図に示すように、本実施形態の情報処理装置（ＰＣ１００）は、ズーム倍率変更に伴って画像の表示範囲を変更するための機能的な構成として、カーソルポインタ座標計算部２０１、カーソルポインタ座標保持部２０２、表示処理部２０３を備える。これらの機能部は、上記の典型的なコンピュータを機能させるためのプログラムとして提供される。このプログラムは、例えば、記憶部１０８などの記憶手段に格納され、ＣＰＵ１０１は、画像データを表示部１０６に表示させるために、記憶部１０８からメインメモリとしてのＲＡＭ（Random Access Memory）１０３に当該プログラムをロードし、これを解釈して実行する。それぞれの機能部は次のようなものである。
図８（Ｄ）のＮ層目の画像表示状態から、ユーザのマウスなどの操作によってＮ−３層目の画像へのズームアウトが指示されると、画像表示状態は、図８（Ｄ）のＮ層目の画像表示状態から、図８（Ｅ）のＮ−１層目の画像表示状態、図８（Ｆ）のＮ−２層目の画像表示状態を経て、図８（Ｇ）のＮ−３層目の画像表示状態へと遷移する。このように、ズームアウトの場合も、ズームイン時と同様に、元のズーム倍率に対応する解像度の階層と目標のズーム倍率に対応する解像度の階層との間に別の解像度の階層が存在する場合には、その間の階層に対応するズーム倍率での画像表示を経て、目標のズーム倍率での画像表示状態へと遷移される。また、元のズーム倍率に対応する解像度による画像表示から目標のズーム倍率に対応する解像度による画像表示に至るまでの、それぞれの解像度による表示画像の中心位置が、元のズーム倍率に対応する解像度による画像表示状態においてカーソルポインタＣが指していた元画像座標空間における座標に徐々に近付くように、表示処理部２０３は、それぞれの解像度での画像の表示範囲を変えて行くことは、ズームアウト時も同様である。

Claims (1)

  1. 請求項３に記載の情報処理装置であって、
    前記入力部は、ズーム倍率の変更に伴う表示画像の表示方法として第１のモードと第２のモードのいずれか一方をユーザに設定させ、
    前記表示処理部は、前記第１のモードが設定されている場合、前記入力部により前記ズーム倍率変更の指示が入力されたとき、前記カーソルポインタが指す元画像座標空間における位置をズーム倍率変更後の表示画像の中心位置としてズーム倍率を変更した画像を前記画面に表示させ、前記第２のモードが設定されている場合、ズーム倍率の変更前後で元画像座標空間における表示画像の中心位置を固定したままズーム倍率を変更した画像を前記画面に表示させる
    情報処理装置。
