Description

The present invention relates to a display device provided with a dustproof spacer for preventing intrusion of dust and the like into a display panel.

In a liquid crystal display that is an example of a display device, a support member that supports the rear side of a display panel having a display surface on the front side, and a holding frame (bezel) that presses and holds the front edge of the display panel against the support member. A module that holds the display panel is employed. In order to prevent the intrusion of dust and the like into the display panel, dustproof spacers are arranged between the front and rear peripheral edge of the display panel and the peripheral edge of the holding frame and support member, and the module is assembled to remove dust sufficiently. Going in a clean room. Further, in a display device incorporating a module, a dustproof spacer is disposed between the holding frame and the front cabinet (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

In the conventional display device, in order to prevent intrusion of dust and the like into the display panel, a dust-proof spacer is arranged in each of the assembly stage of the module and the incorporation stage into the display device. It was bad.
On the other hand, in recent years, a structure in which transparent glass is disposed on the front side of a display panel to eliminate a holding frame (bezel) has been considered from the viewpoints of thinning and improving design in a liquid crystal display. Even in this case, it is necessary to prevent entry of dust and the like into the rear side of the display panel.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a display device provided with a dustproof spacer suitable for a structure in which transparent glass is disposed on the front side of a display panel.
