Claims (31)

該細長い内側スリーブと同心円状に配置された細長い外側スリーブであって、第1面と、該第1面に向かい合う第2面と、該細長い外側スリーブの該第1及び第2面を貫通して延在する複数のポートとを有する細長い外側スリーブ、
を含む連続流反応器用ミキサーであって、
該細長い内側スリーブの該外面及び該細長い外側スリーブの該第1面が、該細長い内側スリーブの該第1端部及び該第2端部を貫通して延在する環状流路を規定する、
連続流反応器用ミキサー。 - 該流路が、該細長い外側スリーブの該第1面の直径に対して0.01〜1.0の範囲の比の一定の幅寸法を有する、請求項1に記載のミキサー。
- 該流路が、約3.2cmの一定の幅寸法を有する、請求項1に記載のミキサー。
- 該細長い内側スリーブの該外面が、弓形表面を有する切れ目のない連続壁を有する、請求項1に記載のミキサー。
- 該複数のポートのそれぞれが、該環状流路の幅に対して0.4の比の直径を有する、請求項1に記載のミキサー。
- 該細長い内側スリーブ、該細長い外側スリーブ、及びそれらの支持壁が、フルオロポリマーで形成された、請求項1に記載のミキサー。
- 細長い内側スリーブであって、該スリーブの第1端部及び第2端部を貫通して延在する取り付けシャフトを受け入れる同軸孔を規定する内面と、該内面に向かい合う外面とを有する、細長い内側スリーブ;

該細長い内側スリーブと該細長い外側スリーブとをつなぐ支持壁、

該支持壁、該細長い内側スリーブの該外面、及び該細長い外側スリーブの該第1面が、該細長い内側スリーブの該第1端部及び該第2端部を貫通して延在する流路を規定する、
連続流反応器用ミキサー。 - 該流路が、該細長い外側スリーブの該第1面の直径に対して0.01〜1.0の範囲の比の一定の幅寸法を有する、請求項7に記載のミキサー。
- 該細長い内側スリーブの該外面が、弓形表面を有する切れ目のない連続壁を有する、請求項7に記載のミキサー。
- 該流路が、該ミキサーの長手軸に直交する環帯領域の断面形状を有する、請求項9に記載のミキサー。
- 該複数のポートのそれぞれが、該環状流路の幅に対して0.4の比の直径を有する、請求項7に記載のミキサー。
- 該細長い内側スリーブ、該細長い外側スリーブ、及び該支持壁が、フルオロポリマーで形成された、請求項7に記載のミキサー。
- 第1の外面及び取り付けシャフトを有する細長いコア;
該取り付けシャフトの周りに位置するミキサーであって、
該取り付けシャフトが貫通する同軸孔を規定する内面、及び該内面に向かい合う外面を有する細長い内側スリーブと、
該細長い内側スリーブと同心円状に配置された細長い外側スリーブであって、第1面、該第1面に向かい合う第2面、及び該細長い外側スリーブの該第1及び第2面を貫通して延在する複数のポート、を有する細長い外側スリーブと、
該細長い内側スリーブと該細長い外側スリーブとをつなぐ支持壁と、
を有し、
該支持壁、該細長い内側スリーブの該外面、及び該細長い外側スリーブの該第1面が、連続流反応器を貫通して延在する環状流路の第1区分を規定する、
ミキサー;並びに
該ミキサー及び該細長いコアの少なくとも一部の周りに同心円状に配置された細長いハウジング、
を含む連続流反応器であって
該細長いコアの該第1の外面と該細長いハウジングの第1の内面とが該環状流路の第2区分を規定し、且つ
該細長いハウジングの内側面と該細長い外側スリーブの該第2面とが注入口を有する該環状導管を規定し、該注入口を経て流体が環状導管に入って、該複数のポートを通って該環状流路に入ることができる、
連続流反応器。 - 該環状流路の該第2区分が、該ミキサーによって規定された該第1区分の両側に位置する、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該流路が、0.07よりも大きい噴流混合数に対応する断面積を有する、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該ポートが、該流路内を移動する従たる流れの量の少なくとも2倍の体積の主たる流れに対応する全断面積を有する、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該流路が、該細長い外側スリーブの該第1面の直径に対して0.09の比の一定の幅寸法を有し、該複数のポートのそれぞれが、該環状流路の幅に対して0.4の比の直径を有する、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該細長いコアの該第1の外面が、第1の円錐形端部と該第1の円錐形端部の反対側にある第2の円錐形端部とを規定し、該第1の円錐形端部が第1の取り付けブラケットと連結して該環状流路用の流入口端部を提供し、該第2の円錐形端部が第2の取り付けブラケットと連結して該環状流路用の流出口端部を提供する、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該第1及び第2の取り付けブラケットが、該細長いコアの長手軸に対してそれぞれがらせんピッチを有する放射状の支持部材を含む、請求項18に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該ミキサーが第1の材料で形成され、そして該細長いコア及び該細長いハウジングが該第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料で形成された、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該第1の材料がフルオロポリマーであり、該第2の材料がチタンである、請求項20に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該細長い外側スリーブの第1端部及び第2端部のそれぞれ及び該細長いハウジングの間に位置するOリングを含む、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- 該細長いコア及び該ミキサーの間に位置するプッシャー型シールを含み、該ミキサーと該細長いコア及び該細長いハウジングとの間に圧縮力が付与される、請求項13に記載の連続流反応器。
- フルオロポリマー材料の直円柱を貫通する同軸孔を形成すること;
該フルオロポリマー材料の該直円柱を貫通する、一定幅を有し、かつ該同軸孔と同心円状に配置される、2以上の流路を形成すること;及び
該直円柱の外面に該2以上の流路をつなぐために該直円柱を貫通するポートを形成すること、
を含む、連続流反応器用ミキサーを形成する方法。 - ポートを形成することが、該流路の該一定幅に対して0.4の直径/幅比の直径を有するように該複数のポートのそれぞれを形成することを含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 該ミキサーの直径に対して該2以上の流路の該一定幅を決定して、該ポートを、0.01〜1.0の範囲の該一定幅/直径比を有する該2以上の流路に開口させることを含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 該ポートを形成することが、該ミキサーの該2以上の流路内への主たる流量の供給に対応するために十分な該ポートの断面積を提供することを含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 連続流反応器を運転する方法であって、
複数のポートを用いて一次反応体流を分割して噴流とすること;並びに
該連続流反応器の流路内において、該分割された一次反応体流を二次反応体流に注入して、少なくとも0.9の噴流混合数と、該一次及び二次反応体流の0.5秒未満の均質化時間と、を提供すること、
を含む、連続流反応器を運転する方法。 - 該分割された一次反応体流を該二次反応体流に注入することが、1.0〜2.0の該噴流混合数を提供することを含む、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 該二次反応体流の流量の少なくとも2倍の流量にて該一次反応体流を供給することを含む、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 該分割された一次反応体流を注入することが、該複数のポートの第2部分と比べて、該複数のポートの第1部分を通じて該分割された一次反応体流のより多い体積流量を提供することを含む、請求項28に記載の方法。
