Claims (31)
- メディア評価のために個人の経験における没頭を感知する方法であって、
イベントを含むメディアにより個人を刺激するステップと、
前記個人を前記メディアで刺激しながら、該個人の脳からの第一の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングするステップと、
前記脳からの第一の信号をサンプリングしながら、前記個人の心臓からの第二の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングするステップと、
前記第一及び第二の信号を周波数領域に分解するステップと、
前記メディアの参照値と比較して、前記関与値と前記参照値との差に基づいて前記メディアを評価するために、前記第一の信号からの一つ又はそれ以上の周波数、及び前記第二の信号からの周波数を用いて、前記個人が前記イベントの刺激に応じて思考せずに行動する量を決定する関与値を計算するステップと、
を備える方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記第一の信号からの一つだけの周波数が、アルファ及びシータから選択され、前記第一の信号からの前記一つだけの周波数が、前記第二の信号からの周波数とともに、前記関与値の計算に利用される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記関与値が前記メディアのイベントと関連付けられる方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記第二の信号が、前記個人の頭部に取り付けられたフォトプリサイモグラフを介してサンプリングされる方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記メディアの一つのイベントと関連する複数の個人からの複数の関与値が、前記イベントに対する関与反応を形成するように集約される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記メディアの前記イベントと関連する複数の個人からの複数の関与値が、前記イベントに対する関与反応を形成するように集約される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、複数の個人からの複数の関与値が、前記メディアに関与をもって反応する人数を識別する合計反応ベクトルに含まれる方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、分解するステップが、高速フーリエ変換又はウェーブレット分析を用いて達成される方法。
- 請求項8記載の方法であって、ウェーブレット分析が、メキシカン・ハット・ウェーブレット、モアレ・ウェーブレット、ドブシー・ウェーブレット、ベータ・ウェーブレット、及びコイフレ・ウェーブレットから選択されるウェーブレットを用いて達成される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、更に、時間経過に渡る関与の変化を示す、前記関与値の微分係数を計算するステップを備える方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、使用される公式が、[心拍数/50]−[(シータ−アルファ)/(シータ+アルファ)]である方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、各心拍の長さが観察される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記第一の信号からの心拍数を、θ−α、θ、θ/α、Δ/α、β/α、及び全体EEGパワー/αから選択される公式の結果と対比することにより前記関与値が計算され、α、β、Δ及びθがそれぞれ、前記第一の信号の中に見出される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、心拍の長さを、α、α/θ、α/θ、α/β、α/Δ、α/全体EEGパワー、及び(α−θ)/(α+θ)から選択される公式の結果と対比することにより前記関与値が計算され、α、β、Δ及びθがそれぞれ、第一の信号の中に見出される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記データのユニットが、テレビ、ビデオゲーム、視聴覚広告、ボードゲーム、カードゲーム、ライブのアクション・イベント、印刷広告、及びウェブ広告から選択されるメディアを用いるシミュレーションにより作成される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記関与値が或る時点に対応するものであり、実質的に同時に起きた前記メディアのイベントを識別することによって、前記関与値を該時点に起きたイベントに相関付けることにより、前記関与値が前記メディアに整合付けられる方法。
- 個人が関与させられる量に基づいてメディアを評価する方法であって、
メディアのイベントに対する前記個人の関与値を計算するステップと、
前記個人が前記メディアに関与させられる量と、前記メディアの参照値との差を決定するために、前記関与値と前記参照値とを比較するステップと、
前記メディアのイベントに対する評価を決定する測定値として、比較するステップからの結果を保存するステップと、
を備える方法。 - 請求項17記載の方法であって、前記参照値が前記メディアの製作者により提供される方法。
- 請求項17記載の方法であって、前記参照値が、他の個人の多数の先に計算された関与値の平均値である方法。
- 請求項17記載の方法であって、前記関与値が、アルファ又はシータから選択される単一の周波数を用いて計算され、前記単一の周波数が前記個人の心拍数と対比される方法。
- 請求項17記載の方法であって、心拍の長さを、α、α/θ、α/θ、α/β、α/Δ、α/全体EEGパワー、及び(α−θ)/(α+θ)から選択される公式の結果と対比することにより、前記関与値が計算される方法。
- 請求項17記載の方法であって、前記第一のメディアが、テレビ、ビデオゲーム、視聴覚広告、ボードゲーム、ライブのアクション・イベント、印刷広告、及びウェブ広告から選択される方法。
- メディア評価に利用するために関与反応を感知する、コンピュータ読み取り可能媒体に体現されるプログラムであって、実行された際に、システムを、
イベントを含むメディアにより個人を刺激し、
前記個人を前記メディアで刺激しながら、前記個人の脳からの第一の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングし、
前記脳からの第一の信号をサンプリングしながら、前記個人の心臓からの第二の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングし、
前記第一及び第二の信号を周波数領域に分解し、
前記メディアの参照値と比較して、前記関与値と前記参照値との差に基づいて前記メディアを評価するために、前記第一の信号からの一つ又はそれ以上の周波数、及び前記第二の信号からの周波数を用いて、前記個人が前記イベントの刺激に応じて思考せずに行動する量を決定する関与値を計算する
よう動作させるプログラム。 - 請求項23記載のプログラムであって、アルファ及びシータから一つだけの周波数が選択され、該一つだけの周波数が、該一つの周波数を前記個人の心臓からの信号と対比することにより、前記関与値を計算するために利用されるプログラム。
- 請求項23記載のプログラムであって、心拍の長さを、α、α/θ、α/θ、α/β、α/Δ、α/全体EEGパワー、及び(α−θ)/(α+θ)から選択される公式の結果と対比することにより前記関与値が計算され、α、β、Δ及びθがそれぞれ、第一の信号の中に見出されるプログラム。
- 請求項23記載のプログラムであって、前記信号が、高速フーリエ変換又はウェーブレット分析を用いて分解されるプログラム。
- 請求項23記載のプログラムであって、前記データのユニットが、テレビ、ビデオゲーム、視聴覚広告、ボードゲーム、カードゲーム、ライブのアクション・イベント、印刷広告、及びウェブ広告から選択されるメディアを用いるシミュレーションにより作成されるプログラム。
- 請求項23記載のプログラムであって、前記信号が、時間において第二のイベントに対応する第二の整合付けられた関与値と比較され得る、時間において第一のイベントに対応する第一の整合付けられた関与値を生成するように、前記メディアに対して整合付けられるプログラム。
- メディア評価に利用するために関与反応を感知するシステムであって、
個人からの第一の信号をサンプリングするよう動作可能な一つ又はそれ以上のセンサと、
前記一つ又はそれ以上のセンサと接続される処理ユニットであって、
前記メディアにより前記個人を刺激しながら、前記個人の脳からの第一の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングし、
前記脳からの第一の信号をサンプリングしながら、前記個人の心臓からの第二の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングし、
前記第一及び第二の信号を周波数領域に分解し、
前記メディアの参照値と比較して、前記関与値と前記参照値との差に基づいて前記メディアを評価するために、前記第一の信号からの一つ又はそれ以上の周波数、及び前記第二の信号からの周波数を用いて、前記個人が前記イベントの刺激に応じて思考せずに行動する量を決定する関与値を計算する
よう動作可能な処理ユニットと、
を備えるシステム。 - 請求項29記載のシステムであって、前記一つ又はそれ以上のセンサが、前記メディアに刺激された前記個人からの信号を測定するよう動作可能な統合センサ・ヘッドセットに含まれるシステム。
- メディア評価に利用するために関与反応を感知するシステムであって、
前記メディアにより前記個人を刺激しながら、前記個人の脳からの第一の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングする手段と、
前記脳からの第一の信号をサンプリングしながら、前記個人の心臓からの第二の信号を実質的に同時にサンプリングする手段と、
前記第一及び第二の信号を周波数領域に分解する手段と、
前記メディアの参照値と比較して、前記関与値と前記参照値との差に基づいて前記メディアを評価するために、前記第一の信号からの一つ又はそれ以上の周波数、及び前記第二の信号からの周波数を用いて、前記個人が前記イベントの刺激に応じて思考せずに行動する量を決定する関与値を計算する手段と、
を備えるシステム。
