Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 1つまたは複数の電子装置に結合された複数の冷却板を通る冷却流体流量を調節し分配するシステムであって、
システム圧力源に流体結合されたフローレギュレータと、
前記フローレギュレータに流体結合された分配ヘッダーと、
前記分配ヘッダーに流体結合された複数の冷却流体配管と、
オリフィスの各々が前記フローレギュレータおよび前記分配ヘッダーの下流の冷却流体配管に結合されている、少なくとも2つのオリフィスと、
前記オリフィス下流の前記複数の冷却流体配管に結合された複数の冷却板と、
を備えるシステム。 - 前記少なくとも2つのオリフィス各々にわたる圧力損失は有効システム圧力差よりも小さい、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも2つのオリフィス各々にわたる圧力損失は流路の圧力損失のばらつきよりも少なくとも1%大きい、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記システム圧力源の下流に複数のフローレギュレータをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記冷却板の下流に結合された戻り配管をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記システム圧力源はコンプレッサまたはポンプを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つまたは複数の電子装置に対して1つまたは複数の支持面を有するラックをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのフローレギュレータ、複数のオリフィス、および1つまたは複数の電子装置に結合された複数の冷却板を通って流れる冷却流体を調節し分配する方法であって、
前記少なくとも1つのフローレギュレータを通る冷却流体を複数のオリフィスに流すステップと、
前記複数のオリフィスを通る流れ圧力を減圧させるステップと、
前記冷却板を冷却して前記1つまたは複数の電子装置から熱を吸収するために、前記減圧された冷却流体を、前記冷却板を通して流すステップと、
を備える方法。 - 前記冷却流体の圧力源を用いて有効システム圧力差よりも小さい前記オリフィスの少なくとも2つの各々に圧力損失を発生させるステップをさらに備える、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 流路の圧力損失のばらつきよりも少なくとも1%大きい前記オリフィスの少なくとも2つの各々に圧力損失を発生させるステップをさらに備える、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 流路の圧力損失のばらつきよりも少なくとも1%大きい前記オリフィスの少なくとも2つの各々に圧力損失を発生させるステップをさらに備える、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却流体を前記システム圧力源に戻して流すステップをさらに備える、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却流体を圧力源によって加圧するステップをさらに備える、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却流体を複数のフローレギュレータを通して流すステップをさらに備え、各フローレギュレータは複数のオリフィスに結合されている、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 1つまたは複数のフローレギュレータ、複数のオリフィス、および1つまたは複数の電子装置に結合された複数の冷却板を通って流れる冷却流体を調節し分配する方法であって、
冷却流体を前記1つまたは複数のフローレギュレータを通して前記複数のオリフィスに流すステップと、
前記複数のオリフィスを通して第1の流体流れ圧力から第2の流体流れ圧力までの流れ圧力を減圧させるステップと、
前記冷却板を冷却して前記1つまたは複数の電子装置から熱を吸収するために、前記減圧された冷却流体を、前記冷却板を通して流すステップと、
を備える方法。 - 前記流体流路において前記圧力損失のばらつきの少なくとも2倍の圧力損失を前記複数のオリフィスの各々にわたって発生させるステップをさらに備える、請求項15に記載の方法。
- フローレギュレータとオリフィスとの比が1:20〜1:2の範囲にある、請求項16に記載の方法。
- フローレギュレータとオリフィスとの比が1:8〜1:2の範囲にある、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 冷却ラック内で1つまたは複数の電子装置を結合している複数の冷却板を通して冷却流体を調節し分配するシステムであって、
流量調節手段と、
前記流量調節手段に結合された流体流量分配手段と、
複数の冷却流体供給手段と、
前記流量調節手段と前記流体流量分配手段との下流にある冷却流体供給手段に関連する1つまたは複数のオリフィスと、
前記オリフィスの下流にある複数の流体配管に結合された複数の冷却板と、
を備えるシステム。
