Claims (20)
- 液体の流れを制御するためのマイクロチェックバルブであって、
基板材料を具えるバルブシートと;
前記バルブシートに配置されたバルブキャップであって、前記バルブシートと前記バルブキャップとの間に空間が規定されるバルブキャップと;
液体によって圧力が加わることにより前記バルブシートと前記バルブキャップとの間の前記空間内を移動可能であり、前記バルブシート及び前記バルブキャップを通る前記液体の流れを受動的に制御する浮動部材と;
を具えることを特徴とするマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記バルブシートがポートを規定し、前記バルブキャップが少なくとも1のオリフィスを規定しており、
前記ポート及び前記少なくとも1のオリフィスが、互いに流体連通していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記浮動部材がオリフィスを規定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記液体が、前記浮動部材が前記液体によって前記バルブシートに押し付けられるときに、前記バルブキャップの前記少なくとも1のオリフィスを通り、前記浮動部材の前記オリフィスを通り、そして前記ポートを通って流れ得ることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記液体が、前記浮動部材が前記液体によって前記バルブキャップに押し付けられるときに、前記バルブキャップの前記少なくとも1のオリフィスを通って流れることができないことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記ポートが前記バルブシートの中央部を通って規定されており、
前記浮動部材の前記オリフィスが前記浮動部材の中央部を通って規定されており、
前記バルブキャップが、前記ポート及び前記浮動部材のオリフィスに対して半径方向外側に配置された複数のオリフィスを規定していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記浮動部材が中実であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記液体が、前記浮動部材が前記液体によって前記バルブキャップに押し付けられるときに、前記ポートを通って、前記浮動部材を超えて、前記少なくとも1のオリフィスを通って流れ得ることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記液体が、前記浮動部材が前記液体によって前記バルブシートに押し付けられるときに、前記ポートを通って流れることができないことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記バルブシートが、第1のレベルの第1の面及び前記第1のレベルの下方の第2のレベルの第2の面を有するマルチレベルのバルブシートを具えており、
前記バルブキャップが前記第1の面に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記基板材料がシリコンであり、
前記バルブキャップ及び前記浮動部材がポリマー材料であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記バルブシート、前記バルブキャップ及び前記浮動部材が、前記液体の連続的な流れ、ゼロクラッキング圧及び逆流ゼロ用に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記バルブシート、前記バルブキャップ及び前記浮動部材が、体液、水、溶液、又は薬物又は薬剤の流れを制御するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 流体の流れを制御するためのマイクロチェックバルブであって、
基板材料を具えるマルチレベルのバルブシートであって、第1のレベルの第1の面及びより低い第2のレベルの第2の面を有するマルチレベルのバルブシートと;
前記第1の面に配置されたバルブキャップであって、前記バルブシートと前記バルブキャップとの間に空間が規定されるバルブキャップと;
流体によって圧力が加わることにより前記マルチレベルのバルブシートと前記バルブキャップとの間の前記空間内を移動可能であり、前記マルチレベルのバルブシート及び前記バルブキャップを通る前記流体の流れを受動的に制御する浮動部材と;
を具えることを特徴とするマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記マルチレベルのバルブシート、前記バルブキャップ及び前記浮動部材が、前記流体の圧力が閾値圧力とカットオフ圧力との間にあるときに、前記流体が流れ得るよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記マルチレベルのバルブシート、前記バルブキャップ及び前記浮動部材が、前記流体の圧力が前記カットオフ圧力を超えるときに、前記流体の流れを止めるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記バルブシートが、流体ポート及び前記流体ポートに流体連通する少なくとも1の流路を規定しており、
前記浮動部材が、流体の圧力の下で、前記少なくとも1の流路を一時的に密閉する平らな形状とアーチ形の形状との間で曲がり得ることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。 - 前記浮動部材が、流体の圧力の下で、前記第1の面の下方に前記第2の面に向かって曲がり、前記少なくとも1の流路を開放して、流体が前記流路及び前記流体ポートを通って流れ得ることを特徴とする請求項17に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 前記浮動部材が、流体の圧力の下で、前記第2の面に接触するようさらに曲がることができ、前記ポートを密閉して流体が前記バルブシートを通って流れるのを防ぐことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のマイクロチェックバルブ。
- 流体の流れを制御するための浮動部材を有するマイクロチェックバルブを製造する方法であって、当該方法が、
バルブシートを具える基板上に複数のポリマー層及び複数の犠牲層を交互に積層するステップであって、前記複数のポリマー層が、前記浮動部材を具える第1のポリマー層と、バルブキャップを具える第2のポリマー層と、流路を規定する外壁を具える第3のポリマー層とを有するステップと、
前記複数の犠牲層を除去することによって、前記バルブシートと前記ポリマーのバルブキャップとの間を移動可能な浮動ポリマー部材を有するチャンネル内マイクロ流体バルブを形成するステップと、
を具えることを特徴とする方法。
