Abstract
【解決手段】第2灯具ユニットにおいて、光源ユニットは、第1分割配光パターンPA11〜第3分割配光パターンPA13を形成するための被投影像を投影レンズの後方焦点面に形成する。第2分割配光パターンPA12の右下コーナー部PA12dは、下縁部PA12cと、第1分割配光パターンPA11と境界を形成する左縁部PA11aとに近接する。12の左下コーナー部PA12eは、下縁部PA12cと、第3分割配光パターンPA13と境界を形成する下縁部PA11bとに近接する。第2分割配光パターンPA12は、水平線よりも下方において右下コーナー部PA12dおよび左下コーナー部PA12eが水平方向に膨らむよう形成される。

Description
図1は、第1の実施形態に係る右前照灯ユニット10Rの構成を示す図である。図1では、理解を容易にするために右前照灯ユニット10Rを水平面で切断して上方から見た断面図を示している。右前照灯ユニット10Rは、車両(図示せず)進行方向に見て前面右側に配置される。なお、車両の前面左側には、左前照灯ユニット(図示せず。以下、「左前照灯ユニット10L」という)が設けられる。左前照灯ユニット10Lは右前照灯ユニット10Rと左右対称に構成されており、以下、右前照灯ユニット10Rについて説明することで左前照灯ユニット10Lの説明は省略する。
図8は、第2の実施形態に係る右前照灯ユニット100Rの構成を示す図である。図8では、理解を容易にするために右前照灯ユニット100Rを水平面で切断して上方から見た断面図を示している。右前照灯ユニット100Rは、車両(図示せず)進行方向に見て前面右側に配置される。なお、車両の前面左側には、左前照灯ユニット(図示せず。以下、「左前照灯ユニット100L」という)が設けられる。左前照灯ユニット100Lは右前照灯ユニット100Rと左右対称に構成されており、以下、右前照灯ユニット100Rについて説明することで左前照灯ユニット100Lの説明は省略する。また、第1の実施形態と同様の個所については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
Claims (5)
- 各々による被投影像が投影されて形成される分割配光パターンが互いに隣接し、各々の分割配光パターンの縁部のうち第1縁部が互いに重なり合って境界を形成すると共に、各々の分割配光パターンが集合して形成されるべき集合配光パターンの外縁の一部を第2縁部が形成するよう、投影レンズの後方焦点面に各々が被投影像を形成する一対の像形成手段を備え、
前記一対の像形成手段の少なくとも一方は、分割配光パターンのうち第1縁部終端および第2縁部終端の双方に近接するコーナー部が集合配光パターンの外縁に沿う方向に膨らむよう、被投影像を形成することを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記一対の像形成手段の各々は、集合配光パターンの水平な外縁の一部を第2縁部が形成するよう被投影像を形成し、
前記一対の像形成手段の少なくとも一方は、前記コーナー部が水平方向に膨らむよう被投影像を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。 - 前記一対の像形成手段の各々は、集合配光パターンの下方の外縁の一部を第2縁部が形成するよう被投影像を形成することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記一対の像形成手段の少なくとも一方は、前記コーナー部が水平線より下方において水平方向に膨らむよう被投影像を形成することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記一対の像形成手段は、
第1光源と、第1光源が発する光の一部を遮って第1被投影像を形成するシェーディング部材と、
第2光源と、第2光源が発する光を反射して第2被投影像を形成する反射面と、
を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の車両用前照灯。
