Abstract

Claims (9)
- ガスタービンエンジン用の軸受ケージ組立体であって、
(a)第1の軸受ケージ(38)であって、
(i)環状の第1の軸受支持リング(50)と、
(ii)環状の第1の取付けフランジ(46)と、
(iii)前記第1の軸受支持リング(50)及び第1の取付けフランジ(46)を相互連結しかつ外径を形成した環状の軸方向に延びる第1のスプリングアーム(54)のアレイと、
を含む第1の軸受ケージ(38)と、
(b)第2の軸受ケージ(40)であって、
(i)環状の第2の軸受支持リング(66)と、
(ii)前記外径よりも大きい内径を形成した環状の第2の取付けフランジ(62)と、
(iii)前記第2の軸受支持リング(66)及び第2の取付けフランジ(62)を相互連結しかつそれらの間に空間を形成した環状の軸方向に延びる第2のスプリングアーム(80)のアレイと、
を含む第2の軸受ケージ(40)と、を含み、
(c)前記軸受ケージが、その中に前記第1のスプリングアーム(54)を受けて該第1のスプリングアーム及び前記第2のスプリングアーム(80)の独立した屈曲運動を許すように前記空間が配置された状態で前記第2の軸受ケージ(40)内に前記第1の軸受ケージ(38)を受けることができるような寸法にされる、

(a)前記第1の取付けフランジ(46)に隣接した半径方向外向きに延びる部分(56)と、
(b)中央部分(58)と、
(c)前記第1の軸受支持リング(50)に隣接した半径方向内向きに延びる部分(60)と、を含む、
請求項1記載の軸受ケージ組立体。 - 前記第2のスプリングアーム(80)の各々が、
(a)前記第2の取付けフランジ(62)に隣接した半径方向外向きに延びる部分(82)と、
(b)中央部分(84)と、
(c)前記第2の軸受支持リング(66)に隣接した半径方向内向きに延びる部分(86)と、を含む、
請求項1又は2記載の軸受ケージ組立体。 - 前記第1の取付けフランジ(46)が、それを貫通して形成された複数の取付け孔(48)を有する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の軸受ケージ組立体。
- 前記第2の取付けフランジ(62)が、それを貫通して形成された複数の取付け孔(64)を有する、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の軸受ケージ組立体。
- 前記第2の軸受支持リング(66)が、
(a)ほぼ軸方向に延びる部分(68)と、
(b)前記軸方向に延びる部分(68)から半径方向外向きに延びる切頭円錐形スカート(76)と、を含む、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の軸受ケージ組立体。 - 前記スカート(76)が、それを貫通して形成された複数のベント孔(78)を有する、請求項6記載の軸受ケージ組立体。
- 前記軸受支持リング(50、66)の少なくとも1つが、円筒形内表面を含む、請求項1乃至の7いずれか1項記載の軸受ケージ組立体。
- 前記軸受支持リング(50、66)の少なくとも1つが、その中に形成された円弧形断面溝(52)を含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項記載の軸受ケージ組立体。
