Abstract
【解決手段】表示装置は、データ電圧に応答して映像を表示する表示パネルと、駆動信号に応答してデータ電圧を出力するデータ駆動部及び駆動信号を出力して、放電回路が具備された印刷回路基板を含む。前記放電回路は、前記データ駆動部から伝わった高圧の静電気を接地側に放電する。したがって、表示装置は、前記高圧の静電気による前記データ駆動部の損傷を防止する。

Claims (10)
- 映像を表示する表示パネルモジュールと、
前記表示パネルモジュールを受納する受納容器と、を含み、
前記表示パネルモジュールは、
データ電圧及びゲート電圧に応答して映像を表示する表示パネルと、
第1駆動信号及び第2駆動信号を受信して、前記第1駆動信号に応答して前記データ電圧を出力するデータ駆動部と、
前記データ駆動部から前記第2駆動信号を受信して、入力された前記第2駆動信号に応答して前記ゲート電圧を出力するゲート駆動部と、
前記第1駆動信号及び前記第2駆動信号を前記データ駆動部から出力して、前記データ駆動部から伝わる静電気を前記受納容器の側に放電させる放電回路を含む印刷回路基板と、
を含むことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記データ駆動部は、
第1ベースフィルムと、
前記第1ベースフィルム上に実装されるデータ駆動チップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記印刷回路基板は、
前記第1駆動信号を前記データ駆動チップに伝達する第1駆動配線と、
前記第1ベースフィルムを通して、前記第2駆動信号を前記ゲート駆動部に伝達する第2駆動配線と、を含み、
前記放電回路は、前記第1駆動配線との接地を電気的に接続することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記データ駆動部に伝わった静電気は、前記第1駆動配線と前記放電回路とを経由して前記受納容器に放電されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記受納容器は、接地の機能を行うことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記データ電圧は、アナログ電源電圧とアナログ接地電圧間との電位差を分配して生成された複数の階調電圧のうち、何れか一つであり、
前記第1駆動信号は、前記アナログ電源電圧であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。 - 前記放電回路は、前記第1駆動配線に接続される一端子と、前記受納容器に接続される他端子とからなる抵抗を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記抵抗は、固定された抵抗値を有する固定抵抗及び前記抵抗値が可変される可変抵抗のうち、何れか一つからなることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の表示装置。
- 前記放電回路は、前記第1駆動配線と、前記受納容器の間に並列に接続される第1ダイオード及び第2ダイオードと、を含み、
前記第1ダイオードは、前記第1駆動配線と電気的に接続されるアノード端子と、前記接地に接続されるカソード端子と、を含み、
前記第2ダイオードは、前記第1駆動配線と電気的に接続されるカソード端子と、前記接地に接続されるアノード端子と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。 - 前記印刷回路基板は、前記放電回路を前記受納容器に電気的に接続させる放電配線をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。
