粘着テープはカモ井加工紙(株)製クレープ紙テープ「風神」、外径φ40mm、幅40mm、デュロメーターA硬度42、ゴム被覆層厚10mm、溝の深さ2mm、縦横方向の溝の間隔3mm均等、陸部面積割合30%、ウレタン系弾性ゴムを被覆したローラーを使用。被着体はミリサイズの砂利を水性アクリル系樹脂に混入しエアレスで吹き付け塗装した450mm×450mm角のリシン塗装板を使用。
この塗装板にテープを貼り当該圧着ローラーで1往復圧着させた。幅25mm、長さ450mmの6本のテープをすべて貼り付けるのに要した時間、目視による貼り付け具合、90°方向の引き剥がし抵抗力、剥離時の支持体断裂の有無の計4項目につき評価した。
目視による貼り付け具合
○:凹部への追従が良好。
△:凹部への追従が不十分で所々浮きが見られる。
×:凹部への追従が不十分で著しい浮きが見られる。
剥離時の支持体断裂の有無
○:断裂したテープの本数が0本
△:断裂したテープの本数が1〜3本
×:断裂したテープの本数が4〜6本
