Description
一部の輸送ユニットでは、温度制御システムが貨物空間の冷却及び加熱を行うことで所望の温度(つまり設定温度)を維持しなければならない。制御装置は、検知温度と前記設定温度との間の差に基づいて、加熱モードと冷却モードとの間で温度制御ユニットを切り換えることで、貨物空間の条件を制御する。典型的には温度制御システムは、相変化冷媒を利用する従来の冷蔵サイクルを操作して貨物空間を冷却することができる。冷媒は、コンプレッサによって圧縮され、貨物空間を冷却するためにその貨物空間と熱をやり取りする熱交換器内で液化及び気化される。加熱は一般的には、コンデンサを通り抜けて、かつ熱い状態で圧縮された冷媒を、貨物空間を加熱するためにその貨物空間と熱をやり取りする熱交換器へ直接送ることによって実現される。
