前記ワイヤハーネス40に締結バンド25で固定した車体係止具10の基板部12のクリップ取付部15に別体のクリップ30をクリップ挿入口19から挿入してスライド自在に嵌合させる。なお、基板部12をワイヤハーネス40に締結バンド25で固定する前に、基板部12のクリップ取付部15にクリップ30を取り付けておいてもよい。
クリップ30はクリップ取付部15に取り付けた嵌合状態では容易に離脱しないが、クリップ挿入口19をクリップ30の挿入後にテープ等を巻き付けてクリップ挿入口19を閉鎖しておいてもよい。なお、クリップ30は車体パネル50に係止された後は車体パネル50側に固定されるため、クリップ挿入口19より離脱することはない。

このとき、図6(A)(B)で破線で示すように、クリップ30の係止部34の中心位置とクリップ取付穴51の中心位置とがずれている場合は、前記クリップ取付部15のスライド空間S内でクリップ30をスライド移動させることによって容易に位置合わせすることができる。
特に、前記スライド空間Sとクリップ係止口18は、図5にも示すように、分岐中心位置P2からT字形状の三方向に連通するため、クリップ30もクリップ取付部15に嵌合した状態のまま3方向にスライド移動することができ、この多方向のスライド移動によって係止部34の中心位置とクリップ取付穴51の中心位置を正確に合致させることができる。
従って、従来のようにワイヤハーネスを捻ったり引っ張ったりして位置合わせする必要がないため、作業性が向上すると共に、ワイヤハーネスに負荷がかかることによる品質低下を防止できる。

自動車に配索されるワイヤハーネスの分岐位置に取り付ける車体係止具であって、
分岐中心位置から少なくとも3方向に分岐して伸長し、その先端側を前記ワイヤハーネスの各分岐線に締結バンドで固定する固定片部を有する基板部と、該基板部の分岐位置の表面に突設するクリップ取付部とを一体成形しているワイヤハーネス固定具と、
前記ワイヤハーネス固定具の前記クリップ取付部に着脱自在に取り付ける別体クリップとからなり、
前記ワイヤハーネス固定具のクリップ取付部は、前記基板部の各固定片部側に延在する同一幅の複数の分岐部を有する形状とすると共に、各分岐部の両側に倒L形状のガイド壁を備え、各両側のガイド壁に挟まれた空間を別体クリップのスライド空間として連通し、前記別体クリップは、軸部の下端より突出して前記各分岐部の両側のガイド壁の間にスライド自在に嵌合する係止用円形台座と、該係止用円形台座より上方位置の軸部より突出して前記両側のガイド壁の上面に当接する押さえ用円形台座と、該押さえ用円形台座の上面より突出する軸部先端より係止羽根を折り返し状に設けた係止部とを一体的に備え、
