Description

The present invention relates to an umbrella that is beautiful in appearance, excellent in design, and easy to use.

In Japan, the traditional method of manufacturing Japanese umbrellas has long been reported. In recent years, there has been a growing movement to review Japanese culture, and interest in Japanese umbrellas is increasing, including daily umbrellas, snake-eye umbrellas, and indoor decorations.

The Japanese umbrella differs from the Western umbrella in the following points.
(1) The bones (parent bones and small bones) and the middle stick are made of bamboo, the wheel is made of wood, the paperboard is made of Japanese paper, etc., all using natural materials.
(2) When the umbrella is closed, in Western umbrellas, the sheet comes out of the main bone (and then rolls), whereas in Japanese umbrella, the liner goes inside the main bone.
(3) Since the tip (the converging end of the main bone) is only tightened with a cover paper, it is waterproof against rain falling from above, but the main bone when a wet umbrella is placed with the tip down It does not have waterproofness against water coming down through. Therefore, there is nothing equivalent to a western umbrella's bump, and when it is not in use, stand with its tip (hand) down.

At present, the momentum to reduce the burden on the environment as much as possible is increasing, and the Japanese umbrella having the feature (1) can be a timely commodity. Also, as mentioned in (2), the fact that the wet part does not go out and hides inside can be said to be a feature not found in Western umbrellas in terms of consideration for others and convenience of handling.

However, on the other hand, Japanese umbrellas are difficult to incorporate as everyday umbrellas in modern daily life because they are difficult to endure, bulky, and untidy.

As seen in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, there are some designs that devise the design of umbrella fabrics and intend to increase the demand for Japanese umbrellas, but there is no device in terms of facilitating the handling of Japanese umbrellas. There was room for improvement.

Utility Model Registration No. 3133813

If Japanese umbrellas, which are also traditional Japanese culture and have the above-mentioned practicality in addition to beauty, can be incorporated into modern life while maintaining their goodness, they will meet people's needs and eventually demand. As a result, the tradition of Japanese umbrellas that can only be inherited in only a limited number of Japanese umbrella shops in Japan can be preserved in the present age and can be passed on to future generations.

The problem to be solved by the present invention is that it has a Japanese umbrella structure, is lightweight and compact, is easy to handle, and is used (when the umbrella is opened) and not used (when the umbrella is closed). The appearance of the state) is to provide an umbrella having an excellent design.

a) 中棒と、
The umbrella according to the present invention made to solve the above problems is as follows:
a) a center stick,
b) a stone protrusion provided at one end of the middle rod;
c) a handle having substantially the same shape as the stone protrusion, provided at the other end of the middle rod in a direction opposite to the stone protrusion;
d) an umbrella portion using a main bone made of an elastic material provided between the stone protrusion and the handle;
e) a sheet stretched between each parent bone and creased so as to be folded inward when closing the umbrella;
f) a dew retainer provided on the handle side for bundling and holding the dew of the main bone when the umbrella is closed;
It is characterized by providing.

Both the stone protrusion and the handle are preferably long truncated cones.

Further, the number of the parent bones is preferably 15 or more, and further, a better effect can be obtained by setting it to 30 or more.

The sheet is desirably made of a transparent or translucent material.

The umbrella according to the present invention is based on the structure of a Japanese umbrella in that the sheet stretched between the main bones is folded inward when the umbrella is closed. Thereby, as described above, the wet portion does not go out when not in use. In addition to this, it also has the feature of a western umbrella that bundles the tip of the closed umbrella's main bone on the handle side, so it does not bother others and is easy for the user to handle. This is a further enhancement of the characteristics of the Japanese umbrella.

Another feature of the umbrella according to the present invention is that the stone protrusions and the handles at both ends thereof are substantially the same shape and are attached in opposite directions. Thereby, the umbrella which concerns on this invention exhibits the novel shape of an up-down symmetry as a whole, when closed. And the shape of the closed umbrella becomes a beautiful long spindle shape by making the stone protrusion and the handle into a long truncated cone shape. This is because when the umbrella is closed, the elastic bone is squeezed again with a stone protrusion that is squeezed at the tip, an umbrella that thickens to accommodate a potter's wheel, small bone, etc., and a tip holder. This is to draw a gentle arc across the three parts of the handle. Since this shape is defined by the envelope of the parent bone, it is desirable that the umbrella according to the present invention increases the number of parent bones (preferably 15 or more). Further, by thinning the main bone and increasing the number (for example, 30 or more), the appearance of the closed umbrella as a whole becomes more delicate and beautiful.

The umbrella according to the present invention can exhibit its characteristics not only when it is closed but also when it is opened. For example, by making the sheet stretched between the main bones transparent or translucent, the bone structure of the umbrella appears clearly outside. Therefore, if the interior has a Japanese umbrella structure, you can enjoy a refined modern-style exterior and a traditional Japanese umbrella structure collaboration. Furthermore, by coloring the surface of the main bone with lacquer or the like, the main bone becomes more conspicuous, and such a contrast can be further raised.

An embodiment of an umbrella according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 1 (a), an umbrella 10 according to the present embodiment is configured such that the stone protrusions 12 and the handles 13 at both ends of the middle bar 11 are both in the shape of a truncated cone, and their directions are opposite to each other. For the reason described later, when the umbrella portion 14 is closed, it becomes a long spindle shape that is thick at the center and thin at both ends. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2 (a), the overall shape when the umbrella is closed is also a clean long spindle shape. .

In one embodiment, the overall length is about 750 mm, the length of the stone protrusion 12 is about 60 mm, the large diameter is about 27 mm, the small diameter is about 10 mm, the handle 13 is about 120 mm, the large diameter is about 35 mm, and the small diameter Is about 20 mm. Further, the diameter of the middle rod 11 is about 12 mm. In addition, it is desirable to use a bamboo laminated material for the stone protrusion 12, the handle 13, and the middle rod 11 in accordance with the use of bamboo for the main bone 141 and the small bone 143 described later.

As shown in FIG. 1 (a), by making the sheet 142 stretched between the main bones 141 of the umbrella part 14 transparent (or translucent), the internal structure of the umbrella part 14 can be seen from the outside. In the umbrella 10 of the present embodiment, a Japanese umbrella structure is adopted as a basic structure of the umbrella portion 14, and 35 bamboo main bones 141 (FIG. 1B) are supported by the same number of bamboo small bones 143. The upper part of the parent bone 141 and the lower part of the small bone 143 are bundled together with the potter's wheel 15 (the upper potter's wheel cannot be seen in the figure). The sheet 142 is made of a plastic sheet that is easy to crease (for example, a three-layer structure in which an ethylene vinyl acetate resin EVA is sandwiched between PP sheets on the front and back sides). It is made to enter inside from 141. The sheet 142 may be translucent paper such as oil paper.

As shown in FIG. 3, the potter's wheel 15 is provided with a hole 151 for passing the intermediate rod 11 and a longitudinal groove 152 for rotatably holding the ends of 35 main bones 141 or small bones 143. Wires or strong threads passed through holes provided at the ends of the 35 main bones 141 or the small bones 143 are tied at the bottom of the lateral grooves 153 provided around the longitudinal grooves of the potter's wheel 15 so that all the main bones 141 are obtained. Or, the ossicles 143 are focused. In one embodiment, the potter's wheel has a frustoconical shape that is narrow on the hand side of the lower potter's wheel and thin on the tip side of the upper potter's wheel, and has an outer diameter of about 25 mm and a length of about 30 mm. As shown in FIG. 3, the potter's wheel 15 has a large number of thin longitudinal grooves 152 and partitions between the longitudinal grooves 152, and the main bone 141 and the small bone 143 must be accommodated and securely held in each of them. Strength is required. For this reason, it is desirable to use a material having high strength, such as a composite material in which bamboo fibers are hardened with a resin, for the upper and lower poles.

As shown in FIG. 2, a ring 16 is provided on the handle 13 side to collect and hold the tips of the main bone 141. Thereby, the beautiful shape of the long spindle shape when the umbrella 10 is not used is maintained, and the handling becomes convenient. The ring 16 also needs strength, and in order to have the same appearance with the handle 13, it is desirable to use a composite material in which bamboo fibers are hardened with resin in the same manner as the potter's wheel.

As described above, when the umbrella 10 of the present embodiment is closed, the umbrella part 14 is narrowed down by the stone protrusion 12 at the tip and by the tip holding ring 16 at the hand side, while at the intermediate part, In order to accommodate the potter's wheel 15, the small bone 143, and the folded sheet 142, the diameter must be increased. In this way, when the main bone 141 draws a gentle arc between the stone protrusion 12-intermediate part-handle 13, the umbrella 10 of this embodiment becomes a beautiful long spindle shape as a whole.

The internal structure of the umbrella 10 will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the intermediate rod 11, FIG. 5 is a side view (a) and a cross-sectional view (b) of the cap 17 interposed between the intermediate rod 11 and the stone protrusion 12, and FIG. It is a) and sectional drawing (b).
The cap 17 is made of a resin such as polypropylene, and has a shape in which a cylinder is placed on the bottom surface on the small diameter side of the truncated cone-shaped base portion as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 5 (b), the base portion is provided with a cavity 171 for accommodating the end portion of the intermediate rod 11. The cavity 171 is open on the large diameter side of the base portion, and a flange is provided on the edge thereof. The outer diameter of the flange is approximately the same as the diameter of the wheel 15 that binds the large diameter of the stone protrusion 12 and the end of the main bone 141. The cap 17 is fixed to the middle rod 11 by covering the end of the middle rod 11 and then inserting a pin into the side through-hole 172.
As shown in FIG. 6B, the stone protrusion 12 has a cavity 121 having an inner surface shape along the outer shape of the cap 17. After the tip of the intermediate rod 11 is covered with the cap 17, the stone protrusion 12 is further covered, and a through hole 122 provided in the side surface of the stone protrusion 12 and an oblong hole 173 provided in the cylindrical portion at the tip of the cap 17. The stone projection 12 is fixed to the tip of the umbrella 10 by inserting a pin through the pin. Since the through hole in the cylindrical portion at the tip of the cap 17 is oval, the stone protrusion 12 is slightly movable with respect to the cap 17 (that is, with respect to the center rod 11). The play of the stone protrusion 12 is provided to absorb the fact that when the umbrella is opened, the tip of the main bone 141 rotates and the corner moves slightly upward.
An aluminum protector 21 for protecting the tip of the stone protrusion 12 is inserted into the cavity 124 provided at the tip of the stone protrusion 12 (see FIG. 4).

When the umbrella 10 wet with rain water is closed and the stone protrusion 12 side is lowered, the rain water on the surface of the main bone 141 and the sheet 142 moves to the side of the skull 15 that binds the ends of the main bone 14, and a part of the cap 17 And enters the space between the stone protrusions 12 and collects in the space 123 between them. Thereafter, when the stone protrusion 12 side is raised to insert the umbrella 10, rainwater accumulated in the space 122 flows out through the gap between the cap 17 and the stone protrusion 12. At this time, since the end of the middle bar 11 and the stone protrusion side of the potter's wheel 15 are covered with the cap 17, rainwater does not enter the gap between the middle bar 11 and the potter's wheel 15 and the middle bar 11 and further The handle 13 does not get wet.

A tip holding ring 16 for bundling the tips of the main bone 141 is attached to the handle 13 side of the intermediate rod 11. FIG. 7 shows a side view of the tip retaining ring 16. The tip retaining ring 16 includes a cylindrical body 161 and a projecting portion 162 projecting annularly inside. The trunk portion 161 is thinned on the master bone 141 side, and when the tip of the master bone 141 is fitted therein, the step formed between the surface of the master bone 141 and the tip of the tip retaining ring 16 is reduced. So as not to impair the beauty of the long spindle shape.

The tip holding ring 16 is fitted into a ring receiving portion 19 mounted at a position adjacent to the handle 13 of the middle bar 11 and slides and rotates along the ring receiving portion 19. The ring receiving portion 19 and the middle rod 11 are fixed by a pin 20, and the pin 20 extends from the middle rod 11 through the ring receiving portion 19 to the trunk portion 161 of the tip retaining ring 16. As shown in FIG. 7, the end portion of the pin 20 is positioned in a through groove 163 formed in an L shape on the body portion 161 and restricts the movable range of the tip retaining ring 16.

As described above, the umbrella 10 of the present embodiment basically adopts a Japanese umbrella structure, and therefore, when used, the umbrella 10 can be conveniently opened. That is, first, the tip holding ring 16 is slid to the hand side with a thumb or the like to release the tip of the entire parent bone 141. As a result, the parent bone 141 that has been held at the time of holding is slightly expanded due to its own elasticity. Then, by shaking the entire umbrella 10 while holding the handle 13, the umbrella portion 14 naturally opens by centrifugal force, and when the potter's wheel 15 exceeds the repel 18 provided in the middle of the middle rod 11, The opening of is fixed. In Japanese umbrellas, repelling is provided at two locations corresponding to the degree of opening of the umbrella in two stages, but such a structure may also be adopted in the umbrella of this embodiment. A stopper (not shown) is provided on the tip side (stone protrusion side) of the repelling 18 so that the lower wheel cannot move further and the umbrella part 14 does not open too much.

When closing the umbrella 10, the finger is pressed with a finger while the umbrella 10 is facing upward. As a result, the umbrella portion 14 naturally closes due to the weight of the main bone 141, the small bone 143, and the sheet 142, and the tips are held together by the tip holding ring 16.

In the umbrella 10 of the above embodiment, both the stone protrusion 12 and the handle 13 have a long truncated cone shape. However, in the umbrella according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 8, they can be a simple long cylindrical shape. Even as a whole, it has a beautiful appearance close to a long spindle shape.
