Abstract
【解決手段】光記録媒体1に対して、波長λが400〜410nmの再生レーザー光を照射して情報を再生する光再生方法であって、光記録媒体1における情報記録層の反射率が4%以下となる際に、この情報記録層に照射する再生レーザー光の再生パワー平均値Praを1.2mWより大きくするようにした。

Claims (9)
- 光記録媒体に対して、波長λが400〜410nmの再生レーザー光を照射して情報を再生する光再生方法であって、
前記光記録媒体における情報記録層の反射率が4%以下となる際に、前記情報記録層に照射する前記再生レーザー光の再生パワー平均値Praを1.2mWより大きくすることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記再生レーザー光を用いて前記光記録媒体を再生する際の再生線速を4.1m/sより大きくすることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1又は2において、
前記再生レーザー光の再生パワーピーク値をPrpとした際に、Prp/Pra<4に設定することを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項3において、
前記情報記録層に照射する前記再生レーザー光を定常光とすることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかにおいて、
前記再生レーザー光を用いて前記光記録媒体を再生する際の再生線速を8.2m/sより大きくすることを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれかにおいて、
前記光記録媒体が情報記録層を2層以上有することを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項6において、
前記光記録媒体が情報記録層を4層以上有することを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 請求項6又は7において、
第1反射率の前記情報記録層と、前記第1反射率と異なる第2反射率の前記情報記録層とを少なくとも有することを特徴とする光再生方法。 - 反射率が4%以下となる情報記録層を有する光記録媒体を回転させる回転駆動装置と、
波長λが400〜410nmの再生レーザー光を発生するレーザー光源と、
前記再生レーザー光を集光して前記光情報記録媒体に照射する対物レンズと、
前記再生レーザー光の反射光を受光して電子信号に変換する光電変換装置と、
前記再生レーザー光の再生パワー平均値Praを1.2mWより大きく制御するレーザー制御装置と、
を備えることを特徴とする光再生システム。
