In the following, with reference to the top, bottom, left and right in FIG.

One end side of the coil bobbin 61 configured as described above is housed in the U-shaped yoke 6 to form an electromagnet block 60, and the contact block 2 is connected to the other end side of the coil bobbin 61 so that the inner block 80 is formed. A pair of fixed terminal blocks 19 are provided at the tip of the contact block 2.

In the inner block 80 as described above, the fixed iron core (not shown) magnetized by the exciting winding 3 fixed in the cylinder of the coil bobbin 61 and energized, and the fixed iron core face each other in the axial direction of the coil bobbin 61. And a movable iron core (not shown) that is disposed in the cylinder of the coil bobbin 61 and is attracted to the fixed iron core in accordance with the energization of the exciting winding 3 and moves in the cylinder of the coil bobbin 61 in the axial direction.
Further, the inner unit block 80 is accommodated in a case (not shown) constituted by a lower case 34 and an upper case (not shown) formed of an insulating material. As shown in FIG. 7B, the lower case 34 has insertion holes 34a and 34b through which the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 are inserted, and the inner block 80 is inserted through the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 from above. It is placed on the lower case 34 in a state of being inserted into the holes 34a and 34b. (In FIG. 7, the coil terminal 5, the fixed terminal block 19, and the main terminal 32 are shown only on one side)
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2006-261056

In the conventional example, the coil bobbin 61 is fixed when the pair of coil terminals 5 and the pair of main terminals 32 included in the inner block 80 are inserted into the insertion holes 34a and 34b of the lower case 34, respectively. The terminal interval between the main terminal 32 and the main terminal 32 is determined by the assembling accuracy of each component, and the insertion hole interval between the insertion hole 34a through which the coil terminal 5 provided in the lower case 34 is inserted and the insertion hole 34b through which the main terminal 32 is inserted, The terminal space | interval of the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 may not be suitable, and an unreasonable force may be applied to the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32.

The present invention has been made in view of the above reasons, and its purpose is to insert the coil terminal and the main terminal into the insertion holes provided in the case without applying an excessive force to the coil terminal and the main terminal, respectively. It is to provide an electromagnetic relay that can be used.

The invention of claim 1 is a hollow cylindrical coil bobbin formed of an insulating material and wound with an excitation winding, a pair of coil terminals respectively connected to both ends of the excitation winding, and fixed in the cylinder of the coil bobbin. The fixed iron core magnetized by the energized excitation winding and the fixed iron core are arranged in the coil bobbin cylinder so as to face the axial direction of the coil bobbin, and are attracted to the fixed iron core according to whether the excitation winding is energized or not. A movable iron core that moves in the axial direction of the coil bobbin, a first yoke plate that faces the one end of the coil bobbin in the axial direction, and a second joint that faces the other end of the coil bobbin in the axial direction. An electromagnetic block comprising a steel plate, a first yoke plate, and a third yoke plate connecting the second yoke plate, and a yoke that forms a magnetic circuit with a fixed iron core; and interlocking with the movement of the movable iron core Contacts that open and close A contact block having a pair of main terminals connected to the case, and a case formed of an insulating material containing an inner unit block configured by integrally combining an electromagnet block and a contact block. The inner block has a pair of insertion holes through which the pair of coil terminals and the pair of main terminals are inserted, and the axial distance between the first yoke plate and the second yoke plate is larger than the axial dimension of the coil bobbin. The coil bobbin is configured to be freely movable in the axial direction between the first yoke plate and the second yoke plate.

According to this invention, the coil terminal and the main terminal are adjusted by adjusting the terminal interval between the coil terminal and the main terminal in accordance with the insertion hole interval of the insertion hole through which the coil terminal and the main terminal provided in the case are inserted. The coil terminal and the main terminal can be inserted through the insertion holes provided in the case without applying excessive force to the case.

As described above, in the present invention, the coil terminal and the main terminal can be inserted through the insertion holes provided in the case without applying an excessive force to the coil terminal and the main terminal.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

(Embodiment)
The electromagnetic relay according to the present embodiment is a so-called normally open type in which the contact is turned off in the initial state (see FIG. 2A), and includes an electromagnet block 1 having an excitation winding 3 and a contact block 2. (See FIG. 1). In the following description, (a) up, down, left, and right in FIG. 2 will be referred to as up, down, left, and right, and left and right in FIG.

The electromagnet block 1 includes a hollow cylindrical coil bobbin 4 around which the excitation winding 3 is wound, a pair of coil terminals 5 fixed to the coil bobbin 4 and connected to both ends of the excitation winding 3, and a coil bobbin made of a magnetic material. 4, the yoke 6 surrounding the coil 4, the fixed iron core 7 magnetized by the exciting winding 3 fixed inside the cylinder of the coil bobbin 4, and the fixed iron core 7 are opposed to each other in the axial direction of the coil bobbin 4. The fixed iron core 7 having the movable iron core 8 disposed therein is formed in a columnar shape, and a flange portion 7a is provided at the upper end so as to protrude in the circumferential direction.

The yoke 6 of the present embodiment includes a rectangular yoke upper plate 9 (first yoke plate) that contacts the upper end surface of the coil bobbin 4 and a rectangular yoke lower plate 10 that contacts the lower end surface of the coil bobbin 4. (Second yoke plate) and a pair of yoke side plates 11 (third yoke plate) for connecting the left and right edges of the yoke upper plate 9 and the yoke lower plate 10 respectively. , And opened in the front-rear direction (direction perpendicular to the paper surface in FIG. 1). The yoke lower plate 10 and the pair of yoke side plates 11 are integrally formed by bending a single plate.

Furthermore, the electromagnet block 1 has a plunger cap 12 made of a magnetic material and formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape with an upper surface opening between the fixed iron core 7 and the movable iron core 8 and the coil bobbin 4. In other words, the fixed iron core 7 and the movable iron core 8 are accommodated in the plunger cap 12 provided inside the cylinder of the coil bobbin 4. The fixed iron core 7 is disposed on the opening side of the plunger cap 12. Furthermore, the fixed iron core 7 and the movable iron core 8 are each formed in a columnar shape whose outer diameter is substantially the same as the inner diameter of the plunger cap 12, and the movable iron core 7 slides inside the cylinder of the plunger cap 12. The moving range of the movable iron core 7 is set between an initial position away from the fixed iron core 7 and an abutting position where it abuts on the fixed iron core. Further, between the fixed iron core 7 and the movable iron core 8, a return spring 13 made of a coil spring and biasing in a direction to return the movable iron core 8 to the initial position is interposed.

Further, an insertion hole 9a through which the fixed iron core 7 is inserted is provided at the center of the yoke upper plate 9, and the fixed iron core 7 is inserted through the cylindrical portion 7b from the upper surface side of the yoke upper plate 9 and fixed. The hook 7a of the iron core 7 is fitted into a recess 9b having substantially the same diameter as the hook 7a of the fixed iron core 7 provided at the approximate center of the upper surface of the yoke upper plate 9, thereby preventing the iron core 7 from coming off. Further, a stopper cap 14 made of metal is provided on the upper surface side of the yoke upper plate 9, the left and right end portions are fixed to the upper surface of the yoke upper plate, and the central convex portion is from the upper surface of the yoke upper plate 9. The protruding fixed iron core 7 is provided so as to form a space for accommodating the flange portion 7a. Here, an iron core rubber 15 made of a material having rubber elasticity (for example, synthetic rubber) is provided between the fixed iron core 7 and the stopper cap 14 so that vibration from the fixed iron core 7 is not directly propagated to the stopper cap 14. Yes. The iron core rubber 15 is formed in a disk shape, and an insertion hole 15a through which a shaft 24 described later is inserted is provided at the center.

The plunger cap 12 has a flange 12a protruding in the circumferential direction at the opening, and the flange 12a is fixed to the periphery of the insertion hole 9a on the lower surface of the yoke upper plate 9, and the lower end bottom portion is the yoke lower plate. 10 is inserted into a bush 16 made of a magnetic material fixed to the central portion of the 10 by press-fitting or the like. Here, the movable iron core 8 housed in the lower portion of the plunger cap 12 is magnetically joined to the peripheral portion of the bush 16.

According to the above-described configuration, when the excitation winding 3 is energized, the opposed surface of the fixed iron core 7 to the movable iron core 8 and the peripheral portion of the bushing 16 of the yoke lower plate 10 are different in polarity as a pair of magnetic pole parts. Thus, the movable iron core 8 is attracted to the fixed iron core 7 and moved to the contact position. On the other hand, when the energization to the excitation winding 3 is stopped, the movable iron core 8 is returned to the initial position by the return spring 13. The return spring 13 is inserted through the insertion hole 7 c of the fixed iron core 7 and has an upper end in contact with the stopper cap 14 and a lower end in contact with the movable iron core 8. When the movable iron core 8 comes to a position where it comes into contact with the fixed iron core 7, the return spring 13 is compressed and stored in the insertion hole 7 c of the fixed iron core 7, so that the return spring 13 comes into contact with the fixed iron core 7. Will not interfere. Furthermore, in the present embodiment, a damper rubber 17 is provided at the bottom portion in the plunger cap 12 and is formed from a material having rubber elasticity so as to have substantially the same diameter as the outer diameter of the movable iron core 8.

Above the electromagnet block 1 is provided a contact block 2 that opens and closes a contact in response to energization of the excitation winding 3. The contact block 2 has a base 18 formed in a box shape whose lower surface is opened by a heat resistant material. Two insertion holes 18 a are provided at the bottom of the base 18, and a pair of fixed terminal blocks 19 are inserted through the insertion holes 18 a with the lower flange 20 interposed therebetween. The fixed terminal block 19 is formed in a cylindrical shape from a conductive material such as a copper-based material, a fixed contact 19a is fixed to the lower end surface, a flange portion 19b protruding in the circumferential direction is formed at the upper end portion, and the flange portion 19b. Is provided with a convex portion 19c. The upper surface of the lower flange 20 and the flange portion 19 of the fixed terminal block 19 are hermetically joined by a silver solder 21, and the lower surface of the lower flange 20 and the upper surface of the base 18 are hermetically joined by a silver solder 22.

A movable contact 23 is disposed in the base 18 so as to straddle between the pair of fixed contacts 19a, and the movable contact 23a is provided at each portion of the upper surface of the movable contact 23 facing the fixed contact 19a. . An insertion hole 23 b through which one end of a shaft 24 that connects the movable contact 23 to the movable iron core 8 is inserted is provided at the center of the movable contact 23.

The shaft 24 is formed of a non-magnetic material in the shape of a round bar that is long in the moving direction (vertical direction) of the movable iron core 8, and protrudes in the circumferential direction from a portion protruding upward from the movable contact 23. The movable contact 23 is prevented from coming off upward by the flange 24a having the portion 24a. Further, between the movable contact 23 and the stopper cap 14, an insulating plate 25 formed of an insulating material and covering the stopper cap 14, and a contact pressure spring comprising a coil spring through which the shaft 24 is inserted. 26 is provided. An insertion hole 25a through which the shaft 24 is inserted is provided at the center of the insulating plate 25, and a recess 25b into which the contact pressure spring 26 is fitted is provided around the insertion hole 25a on the upper surface side of the insulating plate 25. One end of the contact pressure spring 26 is in contact with the lower surface of the movable contact 23, and the other end is fitted in the recess 25 b of the insulating plate 25. The movable contact 23 is urged upward by the contact pressure spring 26, and the upper surface of the movable contact 23 is brought into contact with the flange portion 24 a of the shaft 24. Further, an insertion hole 14a through which the shaft 24 is inserted is provided at the center of the surface of the stopper cap 14, and the shaft 24 is inserted from above the insertion hole 23b, the contact pressure spring 26, the insertion hole 25b, the insertion hole 14a, the insertion hole 15a, and the insertion. The hole 7 c and the return spring 13 are inserted in this order, and a screw portion (not shown) provided at the tip of the shaft 24 is fixed to a screw hole 8 a provided in the movable iron core 8. The insertion hole 7 c provided in the fixed iron core 7 is set to have an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the shaft 24 so that at least the shaft 24 does not contact the fixed iron core 7. With the above configuration, the movable contact 23 moves in the vertical direction in conjunction with the movement of the movable iron core 8.

Here, when the movable iron core 8 is in the initial position, the movable contact 23b and the fixed contact 19a are separated from each other (that is, the contact block 2 is cut), while when the movable iron core 8 is in the contact position, the movable contact 23b. And the fixed contact 19a are in contact with each other (that is, the contact block 2 is inserted), the positional relationship between the movable iron core 8 and the movable contact 23 is set. In short, during the period when the excitation winding 3 is not energized. When the contact device 2 is opened, the two fixed terminal blocks 19 are insulated from each other. When the excitation winding 3 is energized, the contact block 2 is inserted so that the fixed terminal blocks 19 are electrically connected. become. The contact pressure between the movable contact 23 a and the fixed contact 19 a is ensured by the contact pressure spring 26.

In addition, when the movable contact 23b is separated from the fixed contact 19a, an arc is generated between the movable contact 23b and the fixed contact 19a. In order to suppress this arc, a gas is enclosed in the base 18, and as such a gas, a mixed gas mainly composed of hydrogen gas having the highest thermal conductivity in the temperature region where the arc is generated is used. In order to seal this gas, an upper flange 27 that covers the gap between the base 18 and the yoke upper plate 9 is provided, and the opening peripheral edge of the lower surface of the base 18 and the upper surface of the upper flange 27 are hermetically joined by a silver solder 28. The lower surface of the upper flange 27 and the upper surface of the yoke upper plate 9 are hermetically joined by arc welding or the like, and the lower surface of the yoke upper plate 9 and the flange portion 12a of the plunger cap 12 are hermetically joined by arc welding or the like. The inside of the base 18 is sealed.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, arc suppression using the capsule yoke 31 is also performed in parallel with the arc suppression method using the gas. The capsule yoke 31 is composed of a magnetic member 29 and a pair of permanent magnets 30. The magnetic member 29 is formed of a magnetic material such as iron and is substantially U-shaped and is formed of a pair of side pieces 29a and both side pieces 29a facing each other. A connecting piece 29b for connecting the base end portions is integrally provided. The permanent magnet 30 is attached to both side pieces 29a of the magnetic member 29 so as to face the both side pieces 29a, respectively, and applies a magnetic field substantially perpendicular to the base 28 in the direction in which the movable contact 23a contacts and separates from the fixed contact 29a. . As a result, the arc is stretched in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the movable contact 23 and is cooled by the gas sealed in the base 18, whereby the arc voltage rises rapidly, and this arc voltage reduces the voltage between the contacts. When it exceeds, the arc is cut off. That is, in the electromagnetic relay of this embodiment, an arc countermeasure is taken by the magnetic blow by the capsule yoke 31 and the cooling by the gas enclosed in the base 18, so that the arc can be interrupted in a short time. Thus, the consumption of the fixed contact 19a and the movable contact 23a is reduced.

By the way, in the electromagnetic relay of this embodiment, since the movable iron core 8 is guided in the movement direction (up-down direction) by the plunger cap 12, the position in the plane orthogonal to the movement direction is regulated. Therefore, the position of the shaft 24 connected to the movable iron core 8 in the plane perpendicular to the moving direction of the movable iron core 8 is also restricted. Further, in the present embodiment, the position of the shaft 24 in the plane orthogonal to the moving direction of the movable iron core 8 is also regulated by inserting the shaft 24 into the insertion hole 14 a in the stopper cap 14. That is, the insertion hole 14a of the stopper cap 14 is formed to have the same diameter as the outer diameter of the shaft 24, and is set to a diameter that allows the shaft 24 to move up and down while restricting the movement of the shaft 24 in the front-rear and left-right directions. Has been.

According to this configuration, the tilt of the shaft 24 with respect to the moving direction of the movable iron core 8 is restricted at the two locations of the plunger cap 12 and the stopper cap 14. That is, even if the shaft 24 is inclined with respect to the moving direction of the movable iron core 8, the position of the shaft 24 in the plane orthogonal to the moving direction of the movable iron core 8 is two places, the lower end of the movable iron core 8 and the upper end of the stopper cap 14. Therefore, the inclination of the shaft 24 is restricted. Therefore, the straight movement of the shaft 24 is ensured, and the shaft 24 hardly tilts. A malfunction caused by the tilting of the shaft 24, that is, a positional deviation occurs between the movable contact 23a and the fixed contact 19a, so that the contact block 2 is normally operated. To prevent problems such as the opening and closing, or the shaft 24 coming into contact with another member (in this case, the inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole 7c of the fixed core 7), causing so-called squeezing and hindering the movement of the movable core 8. Can do.

In the electromagnetic relay of this embodiment, the excitation winding 3 is energized through a pair of coil terminals 5 to drive the electromagnet block 1, and the contact constituted by the fixed contact 19 a and the movable contact 23 a of the contact block 2 is provided. By opening and closing, conduction and non-conduction between the pair of fixed terminal blocks 19 are switched.

And the coil bobbin 4 has the substantially circular collar part 4a which protruded in the circumferential direction at the upper and lower ends of the cylindrical part, and the winding drum part 4b around which the exciting winding 3 is wound is provided between the upper and lower collar parts 4a. And has a flange portion 4c at substantially the center in the axial direction of the winding drum portion 4b (see FIG. 3A). The flange 4c is formed in a substantially rectangular shape with two long sides on the front and rear sides and two short sides on the left and right sides, and recessed portions 4d are provided on the left and right sides of the end surface of the rear side.

The coil terminal 5 is formed in a flat plate shape using a conductive material such as copper, and an insertion portion 5b narrower than the width of the terminal portion 5a is integrally provided at the front end of the plate-like terminal portion 5a. A rod-shaped protruding piece 5c is integrally provided from the front end of the terminal portion 5a to the side (right side for the right coil terminal 5 and left side for the left coil terminal 5). Each coil terminal 5 is fixed to the recess 4d by press-fitting or bonding by inserting the insertion portion 5b into the recess 4d of the coil bobbin 4. Then, both ends of the excitation winding 3 are wound around the protruding pieces 5 c of the respective coil terminals 5, and then soldered and fixed by the solder 36. Thereafter, the projecting piece 5c is bent downward (see FIG. 3A). (In this embodiment, press fitting or bonding is used when the coil terminal 5 is fixed to the flange 4c of the coil bobbin 4. However, the coil terminal 5 is fixed to the flange 4c using a known method such as caulking. Even the same).

In this way, the pair of coil terminals 5 are directly fixed to the flange 4c of the coil bobbin 4, and the excitation winding 3 is directly connected to the coil terminal 5, whereby the energization path to the excitation winding 3 is one coil terminal. 5 (plus pole) → solder 36 → excitation winding 3 → solder 36 → the other coil terminal 5 (minus pole), so that the bobbin terminal used in the prior art becomes unnecessary, the number of parts is reduced, and the soldering process The number of man-hours can be reduced. Moreover, since the shape of a pair of coil terminal 5 is mutually the same shape, the kind of components can be reduced.

A pair of main terminals 32 connected to an external load or the like is attached to the fixed terminal block 19. The main terminal 32 is formed in a flat plate shape using a conductive material, and an intermediate portion in the front-rear direction is bent in a step shape (Z bending). The main terminal 32 has an insertion hole 32a through which the convex portion 19c of the fixed terminal block 19 is inserted at the front end, and the main terminal 32 is fixed to the fixed terminal block 19 by spin-caulking the convex portion 19c inserted through the insertion hole 32a. Fixed to.

Then, as shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, the inner unit block 40 in which the electromagnet block 1 and the contact block 2 are assembled is placed on the lower case 34. The lower case 34 is formed in a flat plate shape using an insulating material, and a pair of insertion holes 34a through which the terminal portions 5a of the pair of coil terminals 5 arranged in parallel in the left-right direction are inserted, and a pair of main terminals 32 are inserted. A pair of insertion holes 34b are provided (see FIG. 1). The insertion hole 34 a has substantially the same shape as that of the terminal portion 5 a of the coil terminal 5, and the insertion hole 34 b has substantially the same shape as that of the terminal portion 32 b of the main terminal 32.

Further, in the present embodiment, the distance between the lower surface of the yoke upper plate 9 and the upper surface of the yoke lower plate 10 is longer than the axial length of the coil bobbin 4 by L1, and the coil bobbin 4 is connected to the yoke upper plate 9 and the yoke upper plate 9. It can move between the iron lower plates 10 in the vertical direction (the axial direction of the coil bobbin 4) within the range of the clearance L1 (see FIG. 5A). Therefore, when the inner block 40 is placed on the lower case 34, the coil bobbin 4 is moved in the vertical direction, thereby changing the terminal interval L2 between the coil terminal 5 fixed to the flange 4c of the coil bobbin 4 and the main terminal 32. The terminal interval L2 between the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 can be matched with the insertion hole interval L3 between the insertion hole 34a and the insertion hole 34b provided in the lower case 34 (see FIG. 5B). Accordingly, by moving the coil bobbin 4 in the axial direction and adjusting the terminal interval L2 between the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 to the insertion hole interval L3, the lower case can be applied without applying an excessive force to the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32. The coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 can be inserted into the insertion holes 34a and 34b of 34, respectively.

The opening edge of the box-shaped upper case 35 formed of an insulating material and having an open rear surface is fitted to the step 34c provided at the edge of the lower case 34 on which the inner unit block 40 is placed. The case 33 is configured by being fixed with an adhesive, and the inner unit block 40 is accommodated in the case 33 shown in FIGS.

From the above, in the present embodiment, by moving the coil bobbin 4 in the axial direction, the terminal interval between the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 can be adjusted, and an excessive force is applied to the coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32. The coil terminal 5 and the main terminal 32 can be inserted through the insertion holes 34a and 34b provided in the lower case 34, respectively.
