しかし、これらの酸性染料を用いた染毛剤の場合ベンジルアルコールを配合しないと満足な染毛効果は得られないのが現状である。しかしベンジルアルコールは洗い流しタイプの染毛剤の場合は問題ないが洗い流さない、即ち髪の毛に付けっぱなしの、いわゆるリーブオンタイプの染毛剤の場合には長時間髪に付着するため、髪がぱさつくという欠点があった。一方ベンジルアルコール代替成分として芳香族アルコールであるフェニルエチルアルコールやフェノキシエタノールが挙げられるがその効果は充分ではない。
本発明で用いるアルカンジオールは殺菌効果を有することが知られており、従来から防腐殺菌剤として化粧料に配合する試みがなされている。またべたつきのない整髪効果も発見されているが、優れた染毛効果については全く知られていない。(特許文献1〜4)
本発明者らは、かかる酸性染毛剤組成物を得るため、鋭意検討を重ねた結果、酸性染料、アルカンジオールおよび酸を配合することにより所望の性質を有する組成物が得られ、前記課題を解決できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
すなわち本発明は、酸性染料、アルカンジオールおよび酸を配合する酸性染毛剤組成物を提供するものである。即ち本発明の酸性毛髪用組成物は、ベンジルアルコールのように髪の毛がぱさつくという欠点がなく、また従来染毛剤として知られている芳香族アルコールより顕著に染毛効果の良い酸性毛髪用組成物である。
