外装カバーにL字状の蓋部材を着脱可能に取り付けて成る画像形成装置において、
前記外装カバーの互いに直交する2平面に係合孔と嵌合孔をそれぞれ形成し、前記蓋部材の直交する2平面の一方の端縁に係合爪を形成し、他方の内面に突起を突設し、該蓋部材の前記係合爪を前記外装カバーの係合孔に係合させ、前記突起を前記外装カバーの嵌合孔に嵌合させることによって蓋部材を外装カバーに取り付けることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
