Abstract
【解決手段】チタン化合物と特定のリン化合物を添加することを特徴とするポリブチレンテレフタレートの製造方法。

Description
上記式4にて表されるリン化合物としては、例えばc=2、d=0、e=0、R9=tert−ブチル基、R9=2,4位、m=0の化合物としてテトラキス(2,4−ジ−t−ブチルフェニル)[1,1−ビフェニル]−4,4’−ジイルビスホスホナイト、c=2、d=1、e=0、R9=tert−ブチル基、R10=メチル基、R9=2,4位、R10=5位、m=0の化合物としてテトラキス(2,4−ジ−t−ブチル−5−メチルフェニル)[1,1−ビフェニル]−4,4’−ジイルビスホスホナイトなどが挙げられる。
(1)ポリマーの固有粘度IV
オルソクロロフェノールを溶媒として35℃で測定した。
(2)ポリマーのカルボキシル末端基量
オルソクレゾール/クロロホルム(重量比1:1)を溶媒として、25℃で0.02規定のNaOH水溶液を用いて、自動滴定装置(平沼産業社製、COM−550)にて滴定して測定した。
(3)ポリマーの色調
色差計(スガ試験機社製、SMカラーコンピュータ型式SM−T45)を用いて、ハンター値として測定した。
(4)ポリマーの環状2量体含有量
オルトクロロフェノールを溶媒とし、さらにメタノールを加えてポリマーを析出させて遠心分離によって上澄みを採取し、液体クロマトグラフを用いて定量した。
(5)ポリマーの熱安定性
150℃で12時間減圧乾燥させた後、窒素雰囲気下で260℃で60分間の溶融熱処理を行ったサンプルの固有粘度を測定し、熱処理を行う前の固有粘度から熱処理を行った後の固有粘度を引いた値を算出した。
テレフタル酸15kgと1,4−ブタンジオール11kgの混合物にポリマーに対してチタン原子換算で30ppm相当のクエン酸キレートチタン化合物を加圧反応が可能なSUS(ステンレス)製容器に仕込み、40kPaの減圧下140℃から190℃に昇温しながらエステル化反応させた後、ポリマーに対して966ppm(リン原子換算で50ppm)相当のテトラキス(2,4−ジ−t−ブチル−5−メチルフェニル)[1,1−ビフェニル]−4,4’−ジイルビスホスホナイト(大崎工業社製)を添加し、エステル化反応を終了させた。
リン化合物を表1に示すように変更した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、実施例7,8では若干熱安定性が悪かったが、それ以外の水準では、色調、熱安定性に優れていた。
チタン化合物を表1に示すように変更した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、実施例11ではカルボキシ末端基量が若干高かったが、それ以外の水準では、色調、熱安定性ともに良好であった。
実施例1で重合中に添加していたリン化合物の添加を、エステル化反応終了後に添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。重合時間が長くなり、得られたポリマーの色調はやや黄色味を帯びていたが、熱安定性は良好であった。
リン化合物の添加量を変更した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、実施例13,14ではやや黄色味を帯びており、またやや熱安定性が悪かった。また実施例15、16ではやや青味が強く、カルボキシ末端基量が若干高かったが、操業上全く問題のないレベルであった。
チタン化合物の添加量を変更した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、実施例17、20では若干色調が黄色味を帯びており、また実施例19、20ではやや熱安定性が悪かったが操業上全く問題のないレベルであった。
実施例21〜22
目標とする重合度を変更した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、実施例21ではやや青味が強く、実施例22ではやや黄色味を帯びていたが操業上全く問題のないレベルであった。
実施例23〜25
実施例1でチタン化合物と同時に、表1に示すような助触媒を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、実施例24の色調はややくすみを帯びており、実施例24,25ではやや熱安定性が悪かったが操業上全く問題のないレベルであった。
リン化合物を添加しない以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、リン酸系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調はくすみを帯び、黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、ホスホン酸系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、ホスフィン酸系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、ホスフィンオキサイド系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、亜リン酸系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、式1で示される構造を取らない亜ホスホン酸系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、亜ホスフィン酸系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
リン化合物として、ホスフィン系化合物を添加した以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。得られたポリブチレンテレフタレートは、色調は黄色味が強く、また熱安定性が劣っていた。
Claims (6)
- チタン系化合物のチタン原子と式1〜式3で表されるリン化合物中のリン原子のモル比率Ti/Pが0.01〜1.5であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のポリブチレンテレフタレートの製造方法。
- チタン系化合物が、多価カルボン酸、ヒドロキシカルボン酸、含窒素カルボン酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つをキレート剤とするチタン錯体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレートの製造方法。
- リン化合物の添加が、重合反応器内の減圧を開始する前に得られるポリエステルに対してリン原子換算で0〜100ppm、かつ重合反応器内の減圧を開始してからポリエステルが目標とする重合度に到達するまでの間に得られるポリエステルに対して10〜500ppm添加することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレートの製造方法。
- 得られるポリブチレンテレフタレートの末端カルボキシル基濃度が1〜40当量/トンの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレートの製造方法。
